Belle maison de retraite spacieuse avec des pieds de sable avec une maison d'hôtes de charme à Edgartown

Les fenêtres et les portes françaises abondent dans cet impeccable climatisé de 4400 pieds carrés plus contemporain. Située à 1,5 km du centre d'Edgartown et à 6,4 km de South Beach, cette maison merveilleusement meublée est l'escapade idéale pour les plaisirs d'été. Terrain privé sur un acre et demi de terrain près de la piste cyclable.

Le premier étage a une énorme surface habitable. Meublé avec goût avec de confortables canapés surdimensionnés et des tapis en sisal. Le propriétaire a vécu en Amérique du Sud, il y a donc de nombreux objets intéressants d'artisans indigènes. Beaux planchers de bois franc en merisier brésilien dans toute la maison. Les plafonds hauts de 28 pieds dans la grande salle avec un balcon à 3 côtés au-dessus du salon créent une ouverture incroyable pour un divertissement superbe. Les portes françaises ouvrent sur un porche enveloppant qui surplombe la vaste pelouse pour le plaisir en plein air. Une douche extérieure privée est disponible après la baignade. De belles plantations extérieures entourent le porche.

Le premier étage comprend deux chambres et une salle de bain complète avec de beaux carreaux. La salle à manger a une table mexicaine pouvant accueillir huit personnes. La salle à manger s'ouvre sur une véranda ensoleillée qui est un favori de tout le monde. La cuisine moderne a un charmant canapé intégré pour partager la conversation avec le cuisinier et un grand centre de bloc de boucher pour aider le cuisinier! Le deuxième étage a deux chambres à coucher (une est le maître avec balcon) et deux salles de bain complètes. Salle de lavage avec carrelage au sol et située au deuxième étage.

Il y a une 1/2 baignoire et une douche extérieure. Il y a un écran plat 32 'T. V. Internet haut débit.

Great time in Edgarstown

Our stay at the property was relaxing and fit all our needs! The checkin was easy and the two properties accommodated our large family gathering. The gardens are beautiful, and the kids had fun playing in them during our stay. It’s located off the road, and is nice and quiet for your stay, but also an easy walk to the road and farmers market. Daughter's wedding

I rented Kati's house for my family and friends for (4) nights for my daughter's wedding. We wouldn't change anything about the property - beautiful interior and a wonderfully landscaped property. The guest house was a plus to have additional space for guests. We want a reason to go back and won't look to stay anywhere else!

Lovely original place

My family and I (party of 9) came for Memorial weekend and the house is very comfortable and beautifully furnished. It is in a great location, and we were just minutes away from Edgartown and the Morning Glory farm. The house and kitchen is fully equipped, and we were never in need of anything. Kati was very considerate of our stay here and everything was incredibly neat when we arrived. I HIGHLY recommend this house, and I assure your stay here will be very pleasant.

Girls' Weekend

We had a wonderful time. The house was perfect! It was clean, cozy and quiet. Kati and Mark were great host too. They even offered to come over and make us a fire! There were beach chairs, coolers and everything you would ever need in the kitchen. We walked to town everyday which was about a 15 to 20 minute walk. I highly recommend this house and I sincerely hope to be back!

Perfect in every way

Our daughter’s wedding brought us to MV and being able to stay in a beautiful home with space inside and out just a mile from Edgartown was the perfect place to enjoy our weekend!! Everyone who visited was thrilled with the home. We had all the basics in the kitchen and ample cleaning products, towels, games, and everything we wanted. The store was a mile away and a farmers market in walking distance around the corner. I can’t say enough wonderful things and hope to visit again soon!! Thank you so much for the perfect weekend!

Quaint, artistic home in a serene setting

My husband, young son and I recently stayed here for our yearly vacation. The house was gorgeous! Open, spacious, clean with many interesting pieces of art and woodwork. We felt very at home and the house had just about everything we could need for our vacation. The soaking tub overlooked a gorgeous wooded lot and swinging on our porch swing is one of our favorite memories. Many heartfelt thanks to Kati and Mark for their graciousness and kindness to us. We highly recommend this to others!

Kati was a wonderful host and really takes pride in making her guests feel welcome and comfortable. Light and airy, this Martha's Vineyard gem is absolutely perfect! We were greeted with Kati leaving yummy banana bread and a blueberry pie for us to enjoy! The house has plenty of towels, beach towels, games, pots and pans, appliances, lots of spices, and so much more! It's very spacious, spotless, and updated. We couldn't be happier with our stay here. :)

Perfect house for a weekend on Martha's Vineyard

Sandy Feet was everything we hoped for. Several couples were on MV for a weekend wedding and wanted a comfortable house to use as a home base. The kitchen and living areas are more than large enough for four couples or an extended family, and it was lovely having a fire ready to go in the fireplace when we arrived. The bedrooms are all large and immaculate, with comfortable mattresses and linens. Katie, the owner, was helpful at every point, even offering to pick some things up at the supermarket when bad weather delayed our ferry. The house is on a pretty wooded lot at the end of a cul de sac about 3/4's of a mile from the center of Edgartown. There is a dedicated bike lane for walking or biking into town. Two thumbs up!

A perfect vacation home

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautifully appointed home, and it exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the stylish and comfortable design. The living area was perfect for relaxing, with cozy furniture and ample seating for our family. The host went out of her way to make us feel welcome. There was a bountiful basket of island goodies on the kitchen counter when we arrived and every room had fresh cut flowers. She also made sure we knew how to reach her in case we needed anything. The kitchen was well-equipped, and a pleasure to cook in. We appreciated having everything we needed. Each bedroom comfortable beds and soft linens. The outdoor spaces were delightful. We enjoyed the beautifully landscaped lawn and gardens and spent several evenings on the patio and porch, which was perfect for unwinding and enjoying the fresh air. Additional touches like high-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a high-end washer and dryer made our stay very convenient. Overall, this house provided everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay or a more attentive host. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and stylish vacation.

Perfect in every way!

I stayed at Sandy Feet Retreat with a group of friends who go on a girls getaway weekend every year. None of us had been to Martha's Vineyard before, and I was put in charge of our time while there. Finding lodging for our group was my first task. When I found Sandy Feet - and Kati's warm, helpful and very responsive spirit - I knew I had the perfect place for us. Sandy Feet was even better in person that it looks online! Kati's personal touches throughout the home, the comfortable rooms, spacious common areas, and well-equipped kitchen all helped to make it an inviting home to relax in after a day of sight-seeing. And Kati's helpful tips about sights to see and places to dine were spot-on. Each time I consulted her while planning our trip, she was quick to respond and offer great suggestions. Her love of the area is obvious and shines forth in this lovely home. From Sandy Feet, we walked to Morning Glory Farms to explore their fresh baked goods and produce. We had rented cars, so were able to drive to Aquinnah Beach- making stops along the way. On the way back, we enjoyed a seafood picnic while watching the sunset at Menemsha Beach. We also rode bikes to Oak Bluffs, did a sailing tour with Mad Max Sailing, had spa treatments, shopped and explored Edgartown. Before and after each outing we thoroughly enjoyed our time spent in the comfort of Sandy Feet Retreat. After our visit to Sandy Feet I think Martha's Vineyard has a whole group of new admirers who hope to return some time in the future!

Spider Cove

We recently stayed at Kati’s property and unfortunately, our experience was not pleasant. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that cleanliness was not a priority so we cleaned the bathrooms and washed the sheets because we have small kids including a 9 month old. We also wiped down countertops, etc. The house was filled with bugs and spiders….cobwebs were in many spaces making us uncomfortable. We all left with multiple bites. We were excited to stay at this house based on the reviews. Unfortunately, it was disappointing to find that what was advertised as a cozy getaway turned out to be a spider filled house with ripped, stained bed linens with holes. To make matters worse, when I voiced our concerns to Kati, her communication was accusatory instead of caring. She called her house cleaner Anna to come clean but Anna was loud, aggressive and offensive and we should never had to interact with her as a guests of Kati’s. The cleaners came to clean the bedrooms but the new sheets they put also had holes and rips. List of things we noticed: 1. Stained sheets in 3 rooms 2. Ripped sheets with holes in 3 rooms 3. Dirty shower walls 4. Spider webs in every room 5. Bugs and mosquitoes in every room 6. Kitchen coffee maker dirty and stained 7. Overall cleanliness was lacking After we left, Kati was texting us defending Anna even after I asked her not to text us again. I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone who excepts 4 or 5 star accommodations.

We’ve been Premier VRBO hosts for 11 years with 27 five-star reviews and 73 more five-star reviews on another popular rental platform. We take pride in our perfect rating and are always available to assist guests, living just 7 minutes away. Recently, we received our first negative review filled with slanderous accusations and false claims. We believe this may have been an attempt by the guests to secure a refund. All the complaints came on the 4th day of their stay. The complaints included issues with spider webs (one small spider found on the porch), one chocolate stained sheet and one ripped sheet (caused by the guests) and even the presence of a few wild rabbits on the lawn. Our cleaning crew, who’ve worked with us for six years, were also unfairly criticized despite their professionalism. Interestingly, the guests mentioned, on the day of their arrival, a previous refund they received from an AirBnb stay, which now seems like a foreshadowing of their intentions with us. Please contact me if you’d like to know (in more than the 200 words allowed by VRBO) how we addressed each of their complaints. We remain committed to upholding our five-star reputation built over the past decade.

Great house on Martha’s Vineyard

We stayed at Kati’s place for my son’s wedding. It was fabulous. Very spacious. Lots of room for the 11 of us. Kati was great. She welcomed us with homemade pie and banana bread, from Morning Glory, just down the road. The house is very well equipped. Great for cooking and everything you need to take to the beach. The house is tastefully decorated and the grounds are beautiful. Loved having our morning coffee sitting in the screened in porch looking at all the plantings. Also the house is situated in a great location. I highly recommend this property.

Great Family Compound

We rented this property to celebrate my grandfather's 90th birthday and had several family members out to celebrate. The space was great for a large family or several small families. It was a lovely walk to town (about 2 miles) and close to the state beach. Kati and Mark were great and easy to communicate with, would highly recommend!

Amazing Family Vacation!

The house was absolutely perfect. We stayed at Sandy Feet for a week, and it was the perfect house for our family - we had 10 adults, and 2 children, and fit perfectly with room to spare! We had everything that we could have possibly needed! The house is VERY private, and located about a mile from the center of Edgartown. It was the perfect morning walk! Several beaches were a few miles away, and the airport was a 10 minute drive. Plenty of beach chairs, an umbrella, grill, laundry, amazing 3 season porch, great kitchen!! I would stay there again in a heartbeat! I was hesitant to book something sight unseen, but Kati was WONDERFUL, and checked in with us prior to, and several times during our stay.

During the winter I live here on the island and in the summer I am off working in Peru where I am involved in Community Development. I hope all of you that stay here enjoy my home the way I do. Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

Very quiet private setting on 1.3 acres. Private dead end road with very little traffic.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

There are so many beautiful surroundings to the property. Behind the house, there are acres of conservation land so it is a perfect place to take a walk. In the morning you can walk to Morning Glory Farm where you can purchase great coffee and a muffin. On the way back from South Beach you can stop in and get some local produce. The fish market is 1 mile away and the village of Edgartown is 1.2 miles away. Often in the morning you may see deer grazing close to the house or some wild turkeys. The small private road where Sandy Feet is located has very little traffic and there is quiet in the surroundings. Because I am an artist, I like to have interesting things in my house, all the while keeping a very fresh clean and beachy feel to the house.
