Maison rĂ©cemment rĂ©novĂ©e de 4 chambres et 3 salles de bain sur la deuxiĂšme rangĂ©e avec une belle vue sur l'ocĂ©an. La maison a deux espaces de vie - un Ă  l'Ă©tage et un en bas. À quelques pas de la plage via une promenade sur la plage. Sept pĂątĂ©s de maisons du centre-ville de Folly Beach et Ă  moins de 16 km du centre-ville de Charleston.

House is comfortable. However the bathroom off the master bedroom is pretty tiny. Low seat toilet. We had no problem during our week. Porch comfortable. Not much of an ocean view. Trees and plants have grown taller. Beach access is near. Steps up to the walkway, down at the end, a bit of a walk in the sand to get to the water.

We love this house. We stay here every year! You can sit on the big front porch and hear the ocean. It is peaceful here! The owner is very nice and we have everything we need for a relaxing vacation.

This was our 2nd year staying at this home. 7 of us adults stayed very comfortably. There are 2 living rooms so people can separate if desired. Kitchen had everything we needed. My son-in-law loved the out door shower. Fenced back yard is a great plus. House sits across the street from the beach. The stairs are easy for the four legged friends. Our text for needs from the host were answered quickly and all our request were taken care of same day. The only drawback for my family is the spiral staircase and the layout of the downstairs bathroom. The only entrance is from the primary bedroom so the smaller bedroom guest have to pass through the primary. Can it be made into a Jack n Jill? I highly recommend this home.

The accomadations were great. the house had everything we needed for our stay. the host was very easy to communicate with. check in & out were very easy. We loved the large front porch area to hang out after a day at the beach and when it was raining. The bottom level of the house was a perfect place for my daughter's family to sleep ( with 2 children age 1 & 2). Loved that there was enough beach chairs for the 7 of us. My other daughter and grandson also enjoyed the bikes that were available and rode to town several times/day on them. The house is very close to the beach access, less than a 5 min. walk which was awesome. The house is located on the 2nd row and had a limited and small ocean view ( not something that can be changed but the pictures made it look like the view was going to be larger than it really is & I personally was looking forward to a bigger / better ocean view). Otherwise the vacation house was excellent for our needs and close to center street which had many good restaurants/ shops. My family really enjoyed folly beach and the location of the house. We would stay there again.

Great house, great location

This was the perfect house for us; myself, my 3 adult children and a couple of fiancées. Plenty of room for everyone. Love the porch and outdoor shower. A 2 minute walk to the beach. Jimmy was very responsive and communication was easy. Really like that good beach chairs were provided. House was clean and everything worked. No issues. Highly recommend for an enjoyable Folly Beach vacation.

Awesome beach house

This beach house was very cozy and comfortable! Vintage furniture reminded me of my childhood home. Close to the beach, spacious, and our golden retriever loved the secure fenced-in yard. The kitchen was a chef's delight with every utensil we needed for lots of cooking, and the front porch was just perfect for morning coffee and evening chats while listening to the breaking waves and smelling the jasmine intertwined in the backyard fence.. There was plenty of towels, linens,beach chairs, and everything we needed for the week. We enjoyed watching a large hawk resting in the big tree near the house along with many different bird species. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

Haven at the Beach

Beautiful older beach home with perfect location away from large crowds and just across from the beach with access less than a block away. The porch is perfect for sitting and enjoying your coffee in the morning with the sounds of birds and the ocean. Our family of 9 had plenty of room. Definitely a must rent.

Great location, so close to beach

Overall property was clean upon walking in. Owner was proactive in his communication and he let us know when the property was ready. It was great to have bedding and towels included. Kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed. Home was comfortable and worked well for our family. Location was perfect t and only steps to the beach access path. It was about a mile walk to restaurants and shops which we did frequently. Overall very happy with our stay. Thank you Jimmy!

Fabulous Spring Brach Trip

We enjoyed our most recent visit (as always). This was the first of what has become my family and friends biannual visits to Jimmy’s beach house! We love sitting on the porch, listening to the ocean, reading and just watching the world go by. The house is always clean and has a large, well stocked kitchen for all those delicious fresh seafood meals we love to cook. We’re already looking forward to our next visit in the Fall.

We sold 3 monthly rentals with the goal of beach property that we could eventually retire to.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

I would say the two best features are the front porch, and the fact that there are two separate living areas, allowing multi generational families two spaces to congregate.
