The Pelican's Perch est un condo OCEANFRONT récemment rénové avec 2 chambres et 2 salles de bains situé à Carolina Beach.

Oceanfront, condo au deuxiÚme étage avec passerelle privée à la plage et une piscine OCEANFRONT.

Notre condo confortable offre 2 chambres / 2 salles de bains et a tout ce dont vous aurez besoin pour une escapade parfaite.

À quelques pas de la plage par votre propre passerelle privĂ©e. La perche des pĂ©licans est situĂ©e Ă  10 minutes Ă  pied de la promenade / des beignes de Britt!
* Les animaux sont acceptés avec 125 $. Frais de 00 pour un chien et frais de 200 $ pour deux chiens.
** Les clients devront apporter leurs propres draps (2 lits queen et 1 lit jumeau) et des serviettes.

This place was even more beautiful in person than in the pictures. Stunning views and easy access to everything. The decor was adorable and our hostess Alana was very sweet and responsive. I was fortunate to experience 74 degrees and sunshine in early January to celebrate my 60th birthday here. I definitely can’t wait to come back.

Great place to stay on the ocean with beach access right in front of the condo. We enjoyed the beautiful ocean view from the porch. The unit is well decorated and supplied with everything we needed, Alana was a great and helpful host. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a lovely time at this condo. The view was perfect and the decor was beautiful. The host even had a small Christmas tree for us to enjoy! We loved the proximity to the boardwalk and all the great restaurants around.

I want to first start off by saying that the views were amazing. Being able to sit on the deck and watch and listen to the ocean was very relaxing. The overall cleanliness of the condo was sub par. There is a lot of surface cleaning that is done and not much deep cleaning. There were cobwebs in the corner of the glass sliding door to the balcony that have been there for quite some time. There was a layer of dust on the tv stand behind the tv, led you to believe they just wiped what was obviously visible. There is mold in the ceiling of the master bathroom and what appears to be water stains in the kitchen ceiling above the fridge. The mattress in the master bedroom was very comfortable and obviously newer. The queen mattress in the spare bedroom was like a taco. When you got in the bed it dipped in the middle. The twin mattress in the spare bedroom was so uncomfortable you could feel the springs when laying on it. The check out instructions that were sent to me were very straightforward but was contradictory to the instructions on the refrigerator, which also seemed to be outdated. There was no mention of what to do with the dishes or the dishwasher, which is probably why when we arrived the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes. The location was nice and convenient to many things. As previously mentioned the views of the beach were amazing.

We had such a wonderful time at Carolina Beach staying at this particular condo. The view was great. Spent a lot of time on the porch, especially when it rained and it was lovely. The accommodations were just the right size for my husband and I and our dog. We had friends visiting from Wilmington, so there was room for them to come and have a meal with us and share some time at the beach. The owner was very attentive and was easily reached. She wanted to make sure everything was in order and we appreciated that.

Not a 5 Star

The location of this condo is great. We had read on previous reviews about the parking situation and still decided to stay. I will say that if you have children and there is an emergency, you could be blocked and couldn’t get out; a true safety issue. The kitchen frying pans are less than subpar. They all were teflon, severely scratched and a health hazard. The sliding glass doors to the deck did not lock. The heatpump went out our second night and we had to leave and search for hotel rooms( had to get 2). I had to drive our pet back home to a friend and drive back the next morning (5 hr one way) due to the situation. Alana, the host knew the unit was going bad and had one on ordered because she told me the previous guests also had to leave. She said the new unit was delivered and wanted to have it installed the next day. We were in town for a wedding so we decided to stay. The installers were in the condo the entire next day. Didn’t leave until after 5pm. No air, no privacy, using one bathroom. Was quite the experience but also understood those things happen. I asked for 2 night reimbursement for all the inconvenience. Alana agreed to one night only since it was a “24 hour event”. I did not get any reimbursement for pet fee nor did she ever ask how much our rooms were. Also, bathroom where the unit was installed extremely dirty after the installers left and screw left laying in floor.

My family has always had a vacation home here, and I’ve spent countless summers enjoying the island's charm. I even had the chance to live at the beach while attending college in Wilmington, where I worked my first job as a hostess at the Carolina Beach Marriott the year it opened!

Carolina Beach holds so much nostalgia for me, and I love that my two boys (11 and 15) now get to create their own cherished memories here, just like my sister and I did growing up. I’m excited to share our family’s favorite getaway spot with you and hope you fall in love with the island as much as we have!
