Une maison de l'ßle Dauphin nichée dans les arbres avec de grandes dunes de sable entre la maison et le golfe du Mexique. C'est une rue calme à l'extrémité ouest de l'ßle prÚs de la plage publique.

Il dispose de 2 chambres: # 1 avec un lit king size et # 2 avec deux lits jumeaux. Une salle de bain avec une grande baignoire de jardin et une douche séparée. TV et DVD sont dans chaque chambre et salon.

Une cuisine complÚte, avec des comptoirs en granit, une salle à manger séparée et un salon. Des portes coulissantes en verre s'ouvrent sur un grand balcon avec de la place pour des grillades ou des repas.

Nous sommes agrĂ©Ă©s par la «ville de Dauphin Island» et l'État de l'Alabama.

Excellent location to everything on the island.Joys' Beach house has everything you need and we really enjoyed having our dogs hanging out with us on the porch.We had a great time.

Very nice! Didn't realize there was another rental property in the backyard so we did get a little scare when people pulled up and started walking under the porch to the backyard. Short walk to the beach. Would stay here again.

This was the perfect beach getaway. The home was clean and tidy. We appreciated the information on the fridge of the island. It helped us find a great beach spot. We brought our dogs and we were able to relax. Highly recommend this property.

Our family of four and our dogs had a great vacation here! This house was perfect for meeting all of our basic needs. The two bedrooms and king size bed and twin beds were perfect. Kitchen was clean, had everything we needed to cook all meals. There is one regular size sofa and one loveseat in the living room. I think it’s important to note that there is a back house/ cottage that is also rented out. We weren’t able to use the backyard while we were there because the other guests had 2 large dogs. We didn’t mind however because having our dogs be able to stay there with us was phenomenal! Overall it was relaxing and peaceful. Neighborhood was quiet and balcony/ porch area was awesome!

Clean house but not a short 3 min walk to beach. It was a little hard to cool the house in the evenings and the master ceiling fan didn’t change speeds nor did the light turn on. HOWEVER, the neighborhood is central on the island, the BEST restaurant is in the neighborhood, the house is clean, the host is very responsive, and house well stocked. Would book again

A great place to relax

We really enjoyed the laid back pace of the island. The house was in a quiet neighborhood. All amenities needed were available. The walk to the beach was short and easy.

Clean and cozy cottage

No frills, pet and family friendly cottage in a lovely neighborhood near the beach. Very clean and comfortable with a covered porch that was perfect for AM coffee and rainy afternoons.

Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate. Rain & tornado kept us inside for a few days. Not in property management control. However, as advertised, the beach may be within walking distance if you are in your 20's. It's a long walk-through high grass/weed and water. Wife & I in our 70's could not get to it. Only 1 day at the beach was disappointing. Also, a note on the refrigerator stated free parking at the beach if stamped by the police department which is not so, beach is not included with the signed police authorization slip. The home had everything we needed and was comfortable. It is a good deal for the price.

peaceful getaway

Enjoyed our stay on Ohara Drive. The host was easy to contact and always responded quickly. Kitchen was well equipped. Bed was comfortable. Plenty of linens in bathroom. My only complaint was the stairs but maybe that is because I am 77!! Will probably rent it again next year. It was peaceful and quiet.

Quiet spot in the neighborhood. Easy walk to the middle beach, bike anywhere on the island in minutes. 3rd or 4th stay in this property, price means we can come more often!

Good for the Price, but some issues

We loved the location (a bit off the main drag but within walking distance to the public beach). This was a lovely wooded lot, which made the porch and porch swing a bonus!. Also, the whole check in was super easy!!! Great wifi, the TV had most of what we would want but we also brought our own ROKU (which was super easy to attach to the LR and BR TVs).The pictures were a little bit misleading: The house is in need of updating and the kitchen photo leaves out the fact that the washer/dryer/water heater are all there and exposed. But honestly, that was fine.The bed was comfortable, but I suggest you bring your own pillows. Plenty of towels for showers, and the kitchen had most of the basics. If you plan to actually cook a family meal there, I would let them know to see what you may need to supplement. For our needs, it was just fine!Here is my only real complaint: The water heater provides enough water for 1 10-min shower every 3-4 hours. If you want to use that lovely tub they have, you will need to boil supplemental water in pots and pans as there is not enough hot water to actually fill the tub.That being said, we would absolutely re-book this site, especially now that we are aware.

No frills but ok

Definitely no frills, we booked this with the intention of not being in it much beyond sleeping and showering and it served us well for that. It might be time for some updating, but it’s usable and for the price, I couldn’t beat it to have our own space. Be prepared if you have younger kids, there is no cable but 31.4 is the channel for old school cartoons the internet worked fine so my teen was happy
