Home Calme plage Artiste

Cette maison confortable avec de belles vues est relativement proche de Bar Harbor et le reste de Down East Maine. Il est sur Molasses Pond et dispose d'une plage de 90 'de sable, l'eau est le nettoyage de printemps nourri et très progressive. Grande retraite artistique ou parfait pour petits gars. La maison dispose d'une grande chambre de maître avec un lit superposé et un lit de jour à l'étage dans la pièce de devant. Fun et fonctionnel. Le lac est claire et nette. L'eau du puits est très savoureux. Il y a beaucoup de jeux dans l'armoire pour profiter. La cuisine est bien équipée.

What a wonderful retreat! Quiet, private, clean, dog-friendly, perfectly appointed. We had everything we needed and really enjoyed your collection of old movies. The lake is the perfect place to kayak and relax. We could see to the sandy bottom it was so clean! Saw loons, merganser ducks, and an eagle!!! Great walking trails where the dogs could be off-leash. Thank you for everything!

We had a wonderful,magical week at this sweet camp. Unpretentious,as a camp should be,but chock full of creative,artistic touches. Every day we discovered another treasure,from nature surprises to human touches. Everything we needed was there, but special and unique. This camp was obviously full of family and friends’ memories,and we now have our own. We kayaked, walked the camp roads,discovered the friendly, mystical boardwalk to the lake, listened to the loons and watched falling stars. We thoroughly enjoyed what nature offered,and in one week only went out once, for needed groceries and to check in with family. If you want to truly unplug, this is the place.

We just love staying here!! The cottage is lovely & comfortable. The pond (big pond!!) is magical with Loons and catching an occasional sight of the Bald Eagles that nest in the area. 'Can't wait to return!!

This was our second stay, and felt like a homecoming. We brought bikes and sailing canoe and enjoyed exploring every day. The weather was perfect. We appreciated the quiet and natural beauty. And the loons!

Great memories

Quiet location with a great sand beach. Cabin has everything you need during your stay. Lots of books, puzzles, and movies for a rainy day. Perfect place to escape for some great family time.

A hidden gem!

This was a nice relaxing place to get away from it all. An easy drive to Acadia. The wildlife viewing was great. I sure hope we can get back there!

Great Quiet Escape

We had a great stay at this quiet camp. If you are looking for a quiet vacation away from civilization I was recommend this place. The pond is beautiful. We enjoyed kayaking on the pond and the beautiful views.

The camp we easy to access and very clean! Very quiet area...everything we needed was right there...we brought our own food and clothes. There was even a stack of wood for the fire pit!!

Beautiful Scenic Pond Location

The views cannot be beat. The water in the pond is clean and lovely! If you are looking for a get-a-way that is truly unplugged...this is the place.

Perfect Maine Getaway

Camp was exactly what we were looking for. Great location on Molasses Pond and close to MDI and ANP. Everything was as described. Couldn't ask for more. Family had a great week and enjoyed our visit home to Maine with family and friends.

Great place for peace and quiet

We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet this property offered. The property owners did a great job preparing for our rental. The swimming was great and the water so clear you could see straight through to the bottom. It was a great getaway

Truly a quiet oasis! Cottage was exactly as pictured, clean and cozy. Karen is a great host. I unfortunately had to leave early, but will definitely be back.

Nice and quiet. Nothing fancy, but a nice little cabin on a quiet lake. The only issues we had were with a window and dining room sliding door, the vcr didnt work and bed was a bit lumpy. The neighbor was very nice and her dog didnt cause any issues with ours. Ellsworth is the closest town and is about 1/2 hour away. Nice breeze off the lake, but when it wasnt breezy, the mosquitoes went into attack mode. All in all, i enjoyed our stay.

Peaceful week at Molasses Pond

We loved our stay at Karen's place on Molasses Pond. The pond was lovely, clean water, nice beach, great for swimming and kayaking. We saw so many birds and ducks and hardly any people.. The house is not fancy, but was very comfortable and had everything we needed. It was a beautiful, quiet and relaxing getaway.

Another magical Maine trip

Second time vacationing here and will make it a tradition, and made sure to do two weeks this time which was perfect. Crystal clear pond, cozy camp, wonderful neighbors, kids and dog ran free and barefoot. Truly soul reviving! Thank you!

I'm sorry that you wouldn't return. Not sure what went on but there was plenty of dog hair and all of the towels were wet, so someone had fun. If you had mentioned something I would have tried to fix whatever it was. I take a lot of pride in making and keeping my quests happy. Peace and Quiet

This was everything I hope for. The Artist’s retreat was pet friendly quiet water front haven from all intrusions. I could stay forever. The retreat had everything we needed. I’m jealous I don’t own this little piece of heaven.

I purchased this property from my Grandmother. My Grandparents built the original camp in 1950. When I bought it was off grid with an outhouse. We slowly upgraded and added a second floor. This winter we replaced windows and will be trimming them out this spring, I'll upgrade the photos when the current makeover is complete.

This property is private and homey. A great spot to relax and unplug. The lake is great for swimming, fishing, sand beach relaxing, or just watching the birds.

The collection of games, TV, VCR, videos and books is eclectic. The kitchen is very well furnished with every pan or tool you might want.
