Confortable et calme maison récemment rénovée, 2 chambres à coucher, salle à manger, salon avec une cheminée. La chambre principale a un lit plateforme King size. Chambre d'hôtes a un lit queen size. Les deux salles de bains ont une toute nouvelle promenade dans les douches carrelées. Lanai A table et chaises en plein air, avec une fenêtre de la cuisine, accès depuis la salle à manger et la chambre principale. Le salon a un canapé en cuir qui se plie en un grand lit, l’autre canapé est doté de deux fauteuils inclinables et de porte-gobelets. Host was very communicative and welcoming. The property and house were open and very comfortable. Bathrooms and bedrooms huge! Plenty of space for guests. Close to dinning, shark tooth tours and sites. Definitely worth considering if you are planning a stay to the area.

We wanted quuet, comfort, and a restful weekend. This is a nearly remote wateefront setting, no shortage of nice details a d natural beauty. Be prepared for extra drive time, as it can take 20 minutes or so to reach traffic, noise, resources, Nothing wrong with that! We brought along drinking water, which we prefer to well water. Host was very responsive, offered great foodie info, and we really enjoyed this beautufully renovated home. Well worth finding!

Great, quiet place

Great place in a quiet neighborhood. We were looking for a place close to the Punta Gorda airport, and this house was perfect. Drove to the ocean for a few days and this house was a comfortable, spacious place to come back to at night. Mike, the owner, reached out to see if we needed anything, much appreciated.

Mike was great to communicate with prior to and throughout our stay. The house was fantastic and we def plan to return! We had a blast catching lots of fish off the dock and it was the perfect place to relax before heading home. We loved it! Thanks Mike!

Loved this home!

Quiet and restful

Beautiful area for walking or a bike. Well equipped home on a beautiful canal. Friendly neighbors. Egrets, storks, armadillos, tortoises, and wild pigs are great to see. Short drive to Punta Gorda sights and good restaurants. Try Carmelos Italian restaurant .

If you want quiet, this is the place

We enjoyed the quiet, but if you want to be near any action, this might not be the place for you. Easy to get to, but definitely not next to anything--restaurants and shopping are 20 minutes away or more and beaches are farther. Bed was comfy, shower is nice and big. Washer did not work, but owner replaced it as soon as possible.

Very cute house!

Everything seems new in the house. It was perfect for what we needed. Slight problem with the water heater but we leave early in the morning and come home exhausted, so we didn't make a big deal. Mike was responsive, and would've had the handyman over, but with our short stay, we were fine. Would stay there again.

3 month Winter getaway

This home is in a great country neighborhood. Ideal for walking, biking and seeing wildlife. Screened back porch has a nice view and breeze overlooking canal. Nice size dock for fishing and boating. We put our boat on lift and got out to peace river quickly, absolutely beautiful. Water in canal is low in winter so plan boating around high tides. Neighbors are super friendly. House has nice tile flooring throughout, updated bathrooms and spacious kitchen. Good parking, AC works excellent and beds are really comfortable.

Great location with peaceful view on canal

Comfortable home with newly updated beautiful floors and bathrooms. The backyard view from patio and dock is very peaceful, lots of birds and enjoyed watching the local alligator swimming nearby. We rented a canoe thru Canoe Outpost Peace River in Arcadia who dropped us at Brownville station for an 8 mile paddle back to Arcadia outpost; beautiful weather and lots of wildlife. Lots of antique shopping in downtown Arcadia, and Punta Gorda is close by to the south of the property with a variety of restaurants, shopping and good view of the sunset. Solomon's Castle (northwest of Arcadia) offers a very unique and interesting tours of their family property. After you work up an appetite on your tour, be sure to enjoy lunch at the Boat in the Moat Restaurant which offers indoor seating and a large shady patio for outdoor preference. Loved listening to Steve's music while enjoying our delicious lunch. Michael (owner) was connected and very accessible for questions. The only downside is the property could use some TLC and more attention to cleanliness, details of which I messaged to Michael. Hopefully, there will be a great improvement in this area for future renters. Overall, we enjoyed our weekend getaway. Thank you, Michael.

Not what I had hoped for.

When I walked into the house I took my shoes off out of respect to the property owner. The floor was gritty to my feet. I put my shoes back on. The screen porch had what looked like some kind of an animal fur along the base boards. Not sure what that was about. The bed in the second bedroom was so high that we had to get a chair from the dinning room so my sister could get into it. Some of the linens on the beds were torn. We were only given two towels each for our stay. There were no wash cloths. The closets in the bedrooms were full of stuff. Didn’t even want t hang any clothes in them. Cleanliness was missing in the whole house. This was my sisters first trip to Florida and I wanted a VRBO that would be memorable for her. This house was memorable in a bad way.

Be wary renting to these guests. They did not let me know that they were not satisfied. Guest that just checked out gave me a perfect rating. Prior to these guests, my rating was 4.92. My cleaning lady is local, I would have sent her back to verify these things. Only good tip was spare bedroom bed is too high. I just had a new bed frame installed, it raised the bed 3”. I have just recently had most of linens replaced. Some people can’t be happy, and don’t realize that a three star is detrimental.

Wonderful Getaway

Hubby and I came for a little fishing getaway. House was on a nice canal in a good neighborhood. Neighbors were friendly and helpful. Home could use a little bit more cleaning and updating but what they have done so far is nice! Having use of the dock was great and I’m sure will be even better when the boat lift is available. Thank you for a great stay!!

Absolutely nicest Vrbo I stayed at yet!!

Furnishings inside this house are new an comfortable living room everything the layout was perfect beautiful setting on a channel sit back on the dock watch the sun go down or up there’s tortoises walk around this neighborhood I thought that was cool also people in this neighborhood waved at you I couldn’t believe how many people actually waved at me as I was entering and exiting the neighborhood it’s everything that the house manager says it is an more!!!!!! I will definitely return. THANKS!!!!!!!

Loved the house

Me and my friends enjoyed our stay very much although the weather was really bad most of the time! The house was great we showed up to a clean house with everything all set up. Also the check in process was extremely simple and super easy to communicate with!
