Stayed for 6 days with our pups and loved the place! The yard, house fire pit and area were all exactly as expected and communication from the management team was always proactive! AC, washer and drier were all fantastic additions to a great get away.

This cute little place was perfect for my 23 year old son and I. It was an easy walk to the beach. We rented bikes for a few days and it was easy to get everywhere without a car. The only thing I would advise is that the sofa bed isn’t great for an adult.

Great location, very cozy.

Walking distance to many coffee shops and dining spots. Walking distance to the beach. Then only a 10-15 minute drive to most attractions in the San Diego area.

Assigned parking would be nice, however we understand the limitations. Also the only lamps in the home were in the bedroom and didn’t work. We’re not big on only having overhead lighting. The sprinklers may need some adjusting. Otherwise everything was wonderful.

Our dogcation

This annual trip is primarily for our dogs. With dog beach a mere 1/2 block away, it is perfect. Parking can be very tricky.

Cozy Casita

My husband and I wanted to visit OB dog Beach and this place was perfect for the 2 of us. It would be tight if you had additional guests. We loved the little fenced in yard and propane gas fire table outside. The casita is shaded by large trees and stays cool with the fans and ocean breeze. The property management company left us a special note and the place was very clean. We hope to return!

Perfect beach bungalow

We had a lovely little weekend at the beach here! Two friends, one slept on the sofa. It’s a tight space, so definitely not more than two people (and we had a small dog). Kitchen was well-equipped for simple cooking and coffee. Bed was comfy. Bathroom is adequate—toilet is a little small and crowded into the corner, but you make it work. Lovely fenced in yard for the dog. A 5 minute walk to dog beach and lots of really yummy and dog-friendly restaurants within an easy walk. It’s much quieter than Pacific Beach (which I loved), but if you’re looking for a more “party” atmosphere, this might not be the spot for you. Other than planes, it was very quiet. We’ll definitely be back!

Small, incomplete, clean

We were surprised that there was no table inside to eat on. After we complained, one arrived which made our stay more comfortable. Sofa outside and inside not comfortable. Incomplete kitchen baking pans etc. BBQ not working. We loved the proximity to the dog beach. We were only 3 cottages from the beach. If you are planning on eating out most of the time, this is a good fit.

We enjoyed our stay. It was nice to have a pet-friendly unit close to the dog beach. Parking is a pain, we got 3 tickets while we were there, 2 for being on the wrong side of the road during street sweeping. The unit is extremely small but it works. I would have liked to have some sort of table in the living room to use for drinks or dinner; we used the tan storage boxes instead. We had used those to hold our luggage because there was no where else to put them. So very tight. There also are no cleaning supplies. I requested a broom and dustpan which was delivered the same day. It's nice to pick up the little bits of sand that make its way in on the bottom of shoes or the dog etc. The host/mgmt company was extremely responsive which was great. Thank you for that.

Dog Vacay

3 humans and 2 dogs was a little bit of a squeeze, but it worked perfect. Spent most of our days at the beach and local restaurants. This was a perfect spot to crash in the evenings. The front yard was great, and the house was cozy. Would definitely stay again! 👍🐶🌊

Great Vacation

We had great weather and our Aussie Shepheard enjoyed the backyard after a long day at the beach. Parking was challenging as it was 4th of July holiday when we arrived. But there after was no problem. Needed grilling tools and wish the patio umbrella worked. All in all we enjoyed the quite location close to dog beach. We would rent again. Thank You

The property was great. The house is very small. Pack light-the storage for clothes minimal to non existent. Kitchen & bath is very functional. Bedroom is tight & the bed is comfy. Outdoor space is spacious and delightful. Location can’t be beat!

Not Very Good

The property is very small. Only had ceiling lights (no lamps, not even in the bedroom). No table at which to eat a meal. Major problem with the sewage system. A strong sewage odor in the bathroom that permeated the entire site. Maintenance person tried to remedy the problem, but was unsuccessful. He did manage to move us to another unit, which was very nice. We appreciated him doing this.

Short getaway

My husband, my grandson and my self stayed for a short getaway with our dog. We picked this vrbo because of its great location to the beach and the dog beach. It is very small and until my grandson arrived it was fine for the 2 of us, but with a 3 year old running around it was a bit crowded. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful!

This little house was perfect for us and our 2 small dogs. It's small but very comfy. We enjoyed the fire pit and yard and the short walk to the beach was ideal for us.

Trouble with bathroom, TV didn't work, no fans had to buy one, locked out

Not the best experience! Have an issue no one answers after 5pm. No table to eat on, trouble with lock no one would answer after 5pm. Asked for a refund never received a call back
