Loved every single thing about this condo, except for the uncomfortable bed. Very clean and very convenient to the beach. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on in my life. If not for the bed, we would definitely be back.

It has a balcony with the view of the beach. We even saw dolphins several times. It is a quiet location and just a great place to stay.

Excellent stay.

Relaxing stay. Grewt for couples. Loved the view! Excellent guest service from the company managing the condo. They asked if we needed anything and we let them know something as simple as the toaster was broken and they had a new one delivered with in a few hours. Will stay here again!

Great condo and location

We chose this condo for its proximity to beach and was pleasantly surprised w how nice it was. Check in was very easy and we were able to check in early. Fully furnished kitchen made making meals convenient. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Compared to other condos in the area, this one was smaller, maybe 11 units. This allowed us to make friends with other vacationers. The complex had that old school beach vibe. It made the vacation so much more enjoyable, no hustle and bustle. No elevators, etc.. just a condo, a great view and access to the beach and a chance to meet other people.The condo was well equipped. It seemed like the owners were trying to furnish it for THEIR use, not for weekly renters. They did a great job of making sure we had everything we needed to have a nice vacation.No doubt we will be back....

There was an infestation in the building and the HOA called pest control promptly. It took a couple of weeks for the issue to get completely resolved but the condos are now pest free!

Reviewer Comments: The condo is located in a great spot close to the beach, but is very small. Views of the ocean were spectacular, but the views of the roaches crawling across the walls in the unit during the evening kind of ruined things.

We apologize for the unwanted visitors....I've been in contact with the homeowner's association (who oversees the pest control for the complex) and the individual unit owner regarding this problem. They have acted quickly to implement a remedy but unfortunately, not before it impacted your stay. Again, I apologize for the issue.

Perfect Everything!

We were so impressed with this condo! Super close to the water and a very clean unit! Parking was a breeze and we loved the cool, refreshing pool at the end of the day. We are used to having a washer/dryer in the condos we rent so we weren’t sure about not having that but this unit had 2 of each located just outside our front door. We never had an issue with their availability. The water in the shower was always hot and the air conditioning was cold. We loved having the free beach service each day… it saved us $250! Over and over, my husband and I both agreed that we would definitely come back to this condo again. We loved the location… close enough to Destin for good food and entertainment, but far enough away to avoid the crowded beaches. The beach right in front of our condo was perfect. Family friendly and not crowded at all, considering it was peak season. To the right and left of us, we could see the beach was much more crowded in front of the larger complexes. Literally, the only thing we didn’t have that we wished we had, was a keurig. We bought ground coffee and filters and it was just fine. Found some super places to eat nearby… Asiago Skillet was amazing and Stewby’s Seafood Shanty was delicious! Absolutely a perfect vacation for us!

Beach service is a huge plus. Just walk down and enjoy the beautiful white sand beach and clear blue water. Unit has everything you need. Bed could be updated but we made do. Very clean and nicely decorated. Parking was right outside the door and beach right out back. We booked another week next year before we ever checked out. It's our new go to beach place.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Island Surf #5 was simply perfect for our 4 night beach getaway. Beach is possibly 50 yards out back. Could not be more convenient. Little balcony facing the beach. The condo was very clean and beautiful. Lots of adorable beach-themed decor . . . modern, not dated looking at all like some other rentals. Some suggestions - bed, although comfortable, seemed like it had an older mattress with squeaky springs. Couch is a bit worn and uncomfortable. Balcony chairs need replaced, or at least cushioned. A retractable clothesline to drip dry swimsuits in shower would be a nice addition. Kitchen, although well appointed, was lacking coffee filters. . . but none of these are dealbreakers. We LOVED it.
