Great, comfortable property up in the mountain trees, in a resort community with super amenities, that are all right on or near the lake to enjoy conveniently. Would recommend and rebook again!

A very roomy cabin with excellent views! You'll be able to watch clouds roll over the mountains from your bedroom window and balcony. There's a loft area with a desk if you need to work remotely. There's also 3 nice bedrooms. I'll be back to rent it again soon!

This is our second stay at this house (2025 & 2026). We enjoyed our stay although this year we noticed that it was not cleaned as well as before. There was dirt/popcorn/stuff on the floor under the sofa/coffee table. We notified the hosts and they were great about responding with apologies and stated that they would talk with the cleaning staff. We also encountered a bear both days we were there late in the afternoon. The bear came up on the deck and the first day opened the screen door until it was frightened off. The second day our dog scared it off. It was a little unnerving but the guards at the gate told us it has been happening. Overall, we would rent this house again. The whole area is beautiful and it was quiet (even with the bear:) ).

The bedroom layout was good for our family needs. We did need to request three fans because the first day we could not get a main floor cooled down.

The pictures of the property were misleading. My husband and I are older and I am scheduled for hip replacement surgery in October. I learned a lesson this time. I relied on pictures rather than asking about stairs. Also we noticed evidence of roofers in the yard. Pieces of old shingles in the trees and roofing nails in the driveway. After our visit we discovered a nail in our tire and had to get the tire repaired.

Fantastic Lake Location

We loved our stay! It was a great location and we loved being within the resort. Renting golf carts was the best decision… we could easily travel from the house to anywhere within the resort with ease. We would stay here again!

Great communication with the staff. Spacious rooms, comfy beds, well equipped Kitchen. Parking is a bit of a challenge if you have several vehicles. We were there is January. I can see it would be a great place in warmer weather.

Great Family Getaway

Rumbling Bald Resort has all the amenities needed for a cross country family getaway. Casa Su Lago is conveniently located and is well appointed for fun for all ages. The house lay out is fantastic providing personal and public spaces for everyone. Management was fantastic with our small needs during the week. Great stay!

Amazing place with lots of amenities close by! Pool was just minutes away. There was a very unfriendly bear on the property every morning which was cool until it wasn’t. But it was a great place to stay!!

Fun Family Vacation

We enjoyed staying at the property during our week long stay. My younger boys particularly enjoyed the games in the downstairs garage. Kitchen is well stocked, nice fire place, and plenty of storage available in all areas of the house.

Nice stay near lake lure

We spent the weekend here for a wedding at rumbling bald resort, and this was a quick 5 minute drive from the lake. It was clean and spacious with plenty of room for our family. It did have some windy roads so we recommend getting there in the daylight.

The host was very welcoming and quick response to any questions. They checked on us throughout our stay. Everything about the house was perfect for our family!The only thing I need to add is that the basement needs to be sprayed for spiders. We killed 4/5 large spiders there. I did not let that influence my rating as the beautiful home does sit right in the middle of nature!

Great Family weekend

Property was great. Loved the screened porch! Also loved the amenities the neighborhood offered. We played mini golf, went swimming in the pool and got to see a fireworks show…. all included with the neighborhod. Great place to stay!

Nice cabin on a fun resort

The property was clean and well stocked. Check in was a breeze and had good communication with property manager. Wi-Fi can be a little tricky with several people on, but if you plug in directly to the router, connection is fine for work.
