BEACHFRONT Cottage Family Friendly Sand & Surf

La maison d'été est une escapade au bord de l'eau pittoresque et charmante à Slaughter Beach. Avec un accÚs privé à la baie du Delaware, vos orteils ne sont qu'à 70 pieds du bord de l'eau. EntiÚrement rénovée en 2018, la Maison d'été est un lieu de détente pour les familles pour se réunir et créer des souvenirs.

Une grande salle familiale surplombe l'eau, offrant une vue à 180 degrés sur la baie et vous permet de vous détendre à l'intérieur tout en profitant du plein air et de ses belles vues. La maison d'été est entiÚrement meublée, avec 2 lits queen-size, 1 canapé-lit queen-size, 2 salles de bain complÚtes, une cuisine entiÚrement équipée et une laveuse / sécheuse.

Le Delaware Bay offre une superbe expĂ©rience au bord de la baie, conviviale pour les adultes et les enfants. Avec de petites vagues, les petits peuvent profiter de l'eau dans un environnement relaxant, plein d'aventures! À marĂ©e haute, profitez de la baignade et de la pĂȘche depuis le rivage et Ă  marĂ©e basse, promenez-vous dans les appartements, explorez tout ce que la baie a Ă  offrir de prĂšs! La douche extĂ©rieure nouvellement ajoutĂ©e ajoute Ă  l'expĂ©rience de la plage.

De plus, la baie du Delaware fait partie de la route des oiseaux migrateurs connue sous le nom de voie de migration de l'Atlantique. Certains des oiseaux que l'on peut voir sont le pygargue Ă  tĂȘte blanche, le merle Ă  ailes rouges, le noeud rouge, le chardonneret Ă©lĂ©gant, le pinson rouge, les oies des neiges, les martins violets et bien d'autres. Absolutely Amazing

This place was absolutely amazing. My boys loved all the sea life they were able to see and explore. They flipped over so many horseshoe crabs. Jennifer was amazing at responding to any questions we had prior to our stay and while we were there. We will definitely be back!

Relaxing Stay Our family of 4 stayed here for 7 days and it was so secluded and far away touristy areas.The property was 5 stars. The layout and furniture were beautiful and clean.The beds so comfortable!The only drawback was the bay was not so enjoyable due to the bugs and we couldn’t swim in the water due to the mucky waters.Lots and lots of Horseshoes crabs
 all dead and the smell is bad at times.

Our second stay at the Summer House was just as peaceful and lovely as our first visit. The home is comfortable and has everything we needed for the week. Mother Nature offered us a crazy weather week from gorgeous sun and light breezes to thunderstorms and rainbows. Thank you to Jen for being a wonderful host.

Perfect Mother's day getaway

This property was perfect, steps to the beach, kitchen is well equipped, every chair and all the beds are comfortable. Everything is clean indoors and out.

The absolute best beach cottage!

This is the second time we have stayed at this property and I am sure we will again! The cottage is literally on the beach, and every day the tide brings in smooth stones, unusual rocks, and fascinating fossils. (I use them in my mosaic artwork.) The cottage is beautiful, with everything you need for a relaxing vacation, and the owner is very kind and immediately responsive to any questions. In spring, when we have stayed there, we are usually the only people on the beach, so it is wonderful for privacy. It is one of our favorite places!

The perfect, peaceful escape

I had a little trouble understanding the description of where the rental was located, but it was behind the building actually labeled as the address provided, and the driveway was on the right of the address. Jennifer called me as soon as I indicated I was havinpeaceful

Perfect little beach bungalow

The cottage/ bungalow was just as described. Great amenities in the home. And the view, as you walk in the door, Is simply stunning! Home was very, very clean and I appreciated that so much! Other positives: The closest town of Milford was only attend to 15 minute drive away with some surprisingly fabulous restaurants and an amazing movie theater! There’s a Walmart in town so finding last-minute necessities was no problem. My husband and I also recently started playing Pickleball and I was thrilled to see that there was a freshly painted pickle ball court just a 10 minute walk down the road. We also enjoyed a 10 minute walk to a little boardwalk in A nearby Marsh to watch the sunset one evening – what a delight! Lewes Beach, about 25 minutes away in good traffic, Was a beautiful beach! And the downtown area had some pretty stellar restaurants And a charming downtown vibe. We also like to do indoor bouldering, and the gym in Rehoboth was state of the art with a small bouldering area as well as a climbing wall. That was a lovely find. Overall, our week at the Milford property was just what we’d hoped it would be. Only downside was the drive down to Lewis and Rehoboth could be challenging on HWY 1 because of traffic. And also on the upside – Jenifer was extremely responsive and usually got back to me within minutes of my sending a question. Very much appreciated that as well!

Beautiful & clean stay

Very beautiful property and extremely clean! The host was very nice and helpful. This house is about a half an hour from the Dover Motor Speedway. We had tickets for the race, but wanted to stay somewhere outside of Dover with a nice beach vibe. This beach house exceeded our expectations. We especially enjoyed the walk way in the back of the house for immediate access to the sand and water. My fiancé, his farher, and I would all recommend this property!

Perfect getaway!

WONDERFUL COTTAGE

Best vacation in years! Just steps to the beach and oh so quiet!! Many restaurant choices just a short drive away. This slice of beach is a hidden gem. The cottage was PERFECT! Well stocked kitchen, comfy beds and very nice living space. We even saved a few horseshoe crabs. Can’t wait to go back!
