This little place is in a perfect location and has a great yard for enjoying the afternoon with a drink and book.

Relaxing vacation

The backyard at the casita in Old Mesilla was terrific. We liked having the fire pit and rocking chairs in the evenings. We would love to stay at the casita again.

Comfortable Casita

The Mesilla Adobe is my go-to place to stay when in Las Cruces. It's close to my clients and the Mesilla Plaza. Nice quiet neighborhood which is great after a hectic day. Look forward to my next stay!

La Bella y Encantadora Casita in Mesilla, NM

Title: La Bella Casita The house was a historical remodeled house. Absolutely beautiful,! The patio was also beautiful. All the amenities one could hope for and get. Enjoyed it immensely!

Good location. House in excellent shape. Has king size bed with one side against the wall. Had to crawl over spouse to get in/out of bed. Not very nice. I suggest getting smaller nigh table so you can move the bed over a foot or so. I bed house cleaner would appreciate that as well.Other than that, we had a great time.

Great location, comfy digs

I spent a month in Mesilla and this location was very convenient. I took advantage of the back yard on sunny afternoons. I really enjoyed the local businesses. Easy access to university, hiking, and wineries. I was also able to get to the bike path quite easily. White Sands is a fun day-trip. I brought my own sheets, pillows, pans, and knives because I’m fussy about such things.

Lovely Quiet Property In Mesilla

We booked this as we had plans to visit our oldest for Thanksgiving. Due to family illness and work obligations we were not able to go but my daughter was thrilled to get out of her small apartment and enjoy this lovely home. She indicated that is was well maintained and had a relaxing restful week. Next time I fly out to visit I am hoping this rental is available. The one caveat she mentioned is that this is a historic property so anyone who is very tall may have to watch their head :)

Cute and clean

The house was spotless and has a great location! The second bedroom is off the master and so is the only bathroom. The only bed is the queen in the master but there is a sofa sleeper in the second bedroom as well as a sleeping chair which my 5 year old slept on comfortably. The furniture looked new and does not match the photos shown on vrbo. We were really happy to stay within walking distance to Old Mesilla and have a park right behind the house for my little kids to play.

Wonderful Mesilla Park House

This really is an old, historic adobe house but it has been updated with a very modern kitchen, bathroom and laundry. The location is perfect for walking to the plaza and nearby restaurants and shops. My husband was especially appreciative of the generous coffee supplies. Be aware that both the second "bedroom" (which is more of a sitting room) and the bathroom are both accessed through the master bedroom so a little awkward for sharing. The second bedroom only has a sofa bed, not the sleeping chairs as shown. We solved the issue of the bed in the master being against the wall (noted by another reviewer) by just moving the bed away from the wall. There is plenty of room. We were too busy to take advantage of the yard but it is really nice. Overall a wonderful property.

It was everything we expected. We loved the simplicity of the adobe home—it felt very peaceful and relaxing. The house sits on a quiet dead-end street next to a park and ball field. It was actually really nice listening to families outside enjoying themselves. The backyard was one of our favorite parts. It was very relaxing in the evenings, especially sitting by the firepit in the cool air. Our basset hounds absolutely loved the backyard as well.We brought an extra fan because my husband prefers it cooler than normal. We kept the windows and doors open and enjoyed hearing the birds, and even chickens and a goat in the distance. The adobe home itself is simple, cozy, and very comfortable. The kitchen is large, although we didn’t cook since there are so many delicious New Mexican restaurants nearby in Mesilla and Las Cruces. We especially enjoyed Andele’s Dog House and Paisano Cafe. And breakfast burritos from Bosa Burritos & Donuts. Both bedrooms were spacious. The main bedroom has a tall king-size bed positioned against the wall under a window. Because the bed sits fairly high, anyone who has trouble climbing up might want to bring a small step stool. The second bedroom has a more standard-height bed. There is one large TV in the living room. The landscaping around the property is beautifully done in a Southwestern style. I also enjoyed walking through the neighborhood and into the center of Mesilla. Most definitely will stay here again!! Thank you

We didn't meet our host, but via phone he sent his tech assistant to get the 2 TVs operating to a limited extent. We really liked the adobe house and back patio, owls in the front pines, location at the end of the short Calle Primera with the park and ball field to the south. Great access to the irrigation/stormwater system for traffic-free walks around the Mesilla area is wonderful. A hand hold for the tub/shower is needed and hot water point-of-application heating for the kitchen and bathroom sinks and tub/shower would be nice, along with more lighting for the living room.

Adorable Adobe House

It’s a great little house. Wonderful location, great yard and comfortable. It had everything we needed. The only drawback are the ceilings. Anyone taller than 6 feet really has to pay attention.

Location enjoyable, exterior attractive, interior features questionable for us as a mid80s age couple. Wife has marginal eye sight so lighting poor, bed location required both getting up during night, no TV cable or satellite as advertised, dining chairs un-comfortable, very minimal kitchen utincels, etc

Great House

We had our 2 little dogs with us so the park next door was great. The back yard was very comfortable and the inside of the house was nicely decorated. Can't wait to go back.

Quiet and Peaceful Casita

This property is very quiet and peaceful. It was perfect for my husband, myself and our small dog. The patio is lovely and right next to a park. The location couldn’t be better, a short walk to the Messina Plaza. Would definitely stay again.

New Mexico Escape

This property is beautiful. It was quiet, conveniently located, in a safe area, and within walking distance to the Mesilla Plaza. I was able to have my grandchildren and my dogs with me which made my stay more enjoyable. The yard was a nice size for the dogs and my grandchildren enjoyed the experience of the local goats 🐐on the farm next door, barbecue in the back yard and still being able to have the internet for their devices (a little slower than what they are used to, but they made it work) Initially I had a hard time locating the property because there was no street sign and google maps wasn’t helpful. 😊 When I found it, it looked even better than the pictures.

Lovely adobe

Great location, nice home, good bed. Fireworks next door were a drag, three nights in a row, from dusk till midnight, happy birthday America TV was nonexistent, unless you brought your own subscription , i.e. Netflix etc.

Cute Casita

I spent a week at this cute casita during a business trip to Las Cruces because it was close to my client's location. Even in the over 100 degree weather, the house was cool and comfortable. The kitchen is well equiped, the bed was comfortable, and the neighborhood quiet. I hope it's available to stay in next year when I return.
