Cottage de luxe récemment rénové sur le lac de travers

Belle 1Bedroom, 1½ bath Cottage a été récemment vidé et réaménagé avec des finitions de luxe. Entièrement nouvelle cuisine moderne avec des appareils haut de gamme et des comptoirs en granit. Nouveau plancher en bois d'érable, salle de lavage et foyer au bois en pierre des champs pour rester au chaud pendant les nuits fraîches. Grand pont au bord du lac avec une vue imprenable sur le lac pittoresque Crooked, un foyer pour faire griller des guimauves et un quai pour la pêche, la navigation de plaisance ou profiter de la vue. Pendant les mois de juillet et août, nous ne louons que du vendredi au vendredi. La chambre principale a un lit king. L'ajout d'un lit Queen Aero ajouté à la tanière peut en accueillir 2 autres (ouvert sur la salle à manger) et nous ajoutons un lit Queen supplémentaire dans l'espace ouvert derrière la cheminée qui pourra accueillir 2 adultes ou enfants supplémentaires. Total de 6 personnes pourraient rester ici facilement.

Cinquante pieds de front de mer sont partagés avec le bien locatif à l'arrière. Besoin de plus de place? Louez les 3 chambres, 2 salles de bain, dans la même propriété, pour accueillir un total de 10 personnes (voir propriété n ° 7085176). Cette région est un lieu de villégiature idéal: apportez votre bateau ou louez-en un à proximité pour faire une croisière sur les eaux intérieures en direction de Pickerel, Burt et Mullet Lakes. Ou, si vous êtes aventureux, allez jusqu’à Cheboygan et au lac Huron. Jouez au golf sur certains des meilleurs terrains et faites les boutiques dans les jolies boutiques de Petoskey, Harbour Springs, Charlevoix et Bay Harbor. Goûtez les vins et les bières de nos entreprises de vignes et de microbrasseries en croissance rapide. Passez la journée sur l'île de Mackinac. Profitez de la musique et des événements culturels à la Bayview Association. Passez une journée à la plage au parc d'État Petoskey ou à Sturgeon Bay. Tentez votre chance au casino Odawa ou assistez à l'un des nombreux festivals d'été organisés dans les communautés de la région. À quelques pâtés de maisons de la piste cyclable pavée récemment achevée, dirigez-vous vers les communautés voisines. Le centre-ville de Petoskey est à 20 km et Harbor Springs à 12 km de notre propriété.

Great place on the lake

Great owners. Easy to communicate with. Well stocked, pretty home. Very clean. Close to everything. If i could make one suggestion, it would be to clear the dock area of weeds. Very hard to get the boat in and out.

Some shortcoming’s

A nicely located property on good fishing/boating/kayaking lake. A few issues that cause this property to not be worthy of the premium rate charged (close to $500/night summer rate) - most all of the towel bars and toilet roll fixtures were loose and toilet paper roll holder in sm bath did not hold paper. - kitchen garbage drawers did not stay closed. - deck is not worthy of premium rating, dirty and somewhat bug infested. Outdoor furniture less then average. - bedroom light fixture loose and many cobwebs. (Owner called out the loose issue) - bedroom drawers dirty and did not stay closed either. - kitchen window curtain/shade missing, not private to neighbor.

Bait & Switch

We rented the cottage for 5 nights in September, but found out 3 days before that the cottage was double booked for the first two days of our stay. There was another rental on the property and that’s where we ended up staying. It was no where as nice as the cottage and definitely not of the same value. While the owner did offer to let us check in early or stay an extra day, neither of these worked for our travel schedule. We asked for $100 per night that we did not get the cottage, but the owner is now not responsive. Beware if you rent from this owner you cannot trust what he offers. We reserved this property in April and found out 3 days before, too late to make a change, that we were not getting what we paid for and the owner does not care. Very disappointed,

Unfortunately there was an error on another platform where part of their stay was booked by guests before them. When I found the error I tried to offer extra nights, late check out ect or to refund then completely to book another location. They said it was fine and loved the cottage. Unfortunately they were some of our last guests for season and never asked for a discount until almost a month after they had stayed, we had booked cottages long term and I did not even see their message till they left a review that does not reflect how much we care for our guests. We offer them tips through stay on where to eat or fun activities in area during their time they stay. If it raining I will text and say these are great activities in area to do during g bad weather. This review is honestly a spite review that does not reflect the property or how much we do for guests. I bent over backwards and payed cleaners 400 dollars to prepare a cottage last minute so they would have a nice place to stay before transitions to another cottage! I wish they had contacted me during their stay and not a month later.

Great weekend stay!

We needed something a little bigger than a hotel room for our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids). This property was perfect for our weekend stay for a soccer tournament! We were able to utilize the kitchen and grill to eat in. The kids loved playing in the yard and we enjoyed nightly bonfires after the kids went to bed. The neighbor’s on both sides were super friendly and welcoming. Great location to downtown and any amenity needed!

Great weekend at Crooked Lake Cottage

The cottage was just as described, new, clean, modern. It was very comfortable for the three of us, the beds and linens were very nice, and the kitchen was well appointed. We enjoyed kayaking and paddle-boarding on Crooked Lake, and the proximity to other activities in the Petoskey, Harbor Springs, Charlevoix area. The hosts were very responsive and informative. The neighbors were very nice as well.

August vacation

My husband and I had a really nice comfortable time in this hidden gem on Crooked Lake. The interior had recently been redone and the appointments were excellent. The cookware was more complete than in many of the prior vacation homes I have leased that were for parties of 8 or greater. Beds and sheets were very comfortable-big king and a queen off to the side in a nook in the living room. Parking for 2-3 cars in tandem was easy in the shared driveway. We did not use the dock at end of property but the other family using the nearby second rental property used it without issue. My son fished elsewhere on Crooked lake and Pickerel and the variety and size of the fish was fantastic. Gars, pike, walleye, a few bluegills, small mouth and large mouth bass. Never a day without an interesting catch. There is not really a swimming area at the end of the property but petoskey state park is very close and the beach there is outstanding with little risk of swimmer's itch. All the fun things to do are very close--Petoskey with its shops and restaurants and beautiful waterfront. Many hiking trails. Yes, the property is in a denser cottage area but neighbors were nice and there are lots of trees around to create more privacy. The area is close to US31 so you do hear road traffic if outside at rush hours but the house is amazingly soundproofed and our sleep or day was not affected if inside. The view was of a cove with lilypads and geese,duck and swans to the west and open water straight on. Jarod is very responsive and answers messages quickly. We needed nothing extra during the visit. Would definitely recommend

My wife and I are natives of petoskey. After completing our PHD's in Pharmacy we decided to settle back into our hometown and start a family. We have both always loved the Petoskey area and all the leisurely activities. So when the chance came along to buy some fully renovated cottages from some friends we couldn't pass up the opportunity.

Due to our very busy schedules were not able to use the cottages all the time and wanted to give others a chance to really experience lakefront living in Northern Michigan.

The specific road that this property is on is a quieter side road of the lake. When you look at a map of the lake you might notice other cottages along the main road. Those cottages are basically on the highway but this cottage is in a much nicer location and very peaceful.

This property is great because its away from the main road so you can relax and spend time with family. The cottages were completely renovated a few years ago so they are not run down like you might find in other locations along the lake. Plus the inland waterways are AMAZING. There are so many sandy beach areas and places to explore!
