Maison spacieuse et historique avec grandes chambres - Pour toute la famille

Magnifiquement nommĂ© domaine des annĂ©es 1930 Ă  proximitĂ© des plages, des jardins botaniques, des chutes d'Akaka et de tout ce que HiloTown a Ă  offrir! Marcher Ă  la riviĂšre Wailuku et le Hilo Bayfront en seulement quelques minutes de notre maison. À noter Ă©galement, rĂ©novation de la cuisine Ă  compter de juillet 2019!

Bien que la distance à pied de la ville de Hilo, notre quartier diversifié et unique, Wainaku, a une atmosphÚre de pays, avec beaucoup de maisons historiques; c'est aussi calme et trÚs privé.

Comme nous sommes sur la magnifique riviÚre Wailuku, notre propriété a une brise magnifique en tout temps, et il y a un certain nombre d'espÚces d'oiseaux magnifiques qui font de notre propriété leur demeure.

À noter Ă©galement: les deux voisins adjacents se trouvent sur des parcelles d’un acre, ce qui rend notre maison trĂšs paisible.

Profitez des lits New King et Queen Serta, des draps belges et des serviettes en coton moelleux. D'autres articles de toilette comprennent un shampooing biologique et une lotion pour le corps non parfumée de Aveeno, des cotons-tiges et des boules de coton.

Beautiful spacious house in the middle of a garden oasis. So close to town and only 45 minutes to the volcano national park. Highly recommend this beautiful home. We were lucky to see the volcano eruption!

We loved staying here as we visited our family in Hilo. The house is so charming, equipped with everything we needed and more. Fresh flowers and local fruit & chocolates left for us upon our arrival - it’s the little things. We’d love to stay here again I know our family who lives there is going to recommend it as well.

Excellent Property

My family thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful stay at this authentic property. The spacious house was well appointed and had such a Hilo feel. The grounds were beautiful and peaceful, it was close to downtown, and perfect for our stay during our visit for a family reunion. Will definitely consider for future stays. Great plantation house

Beautiful house and garden

This historic home is really beautiful and the garden is gorgeous. The house was immaculate yet full of character and charm, decorated perfectly and full of fresh flowers upon our arrival. Spacious with lots of different places to hang out. Beds very comfortable, everything you could want was provided and Kevin was very helpful. The garden is lovely and private feeling. Location is just outside Hilo’s downtown and is easily walked. A perfect home base for the area, though I wish we had been able to just spend more time in the house because it was so nice. Would definitely return here.

The Best

Delightful older midcentury (?) house ! Very roomy and lovingly cared for, manicured, enriched throughout with many antiques and cultural items from around the world in dust proof cabinets. Lovely kitchen and dining rooms. Outside are secluded lush gardens. You will love it‌

Slice of Hawaiian Paradise

My family stayed here for a week beginning on Thanksgiving day and we thoroughly enjoyed the property. Even though it was on a residential street, we felt it was secluded and private. The house could not be more perfect and the kitchen had everything needed for our stay, including a screened in outdoor space and bbq grill. We all raved about how great we slept each night with the windows open, listening to the hum of the birds and frogs outside. We definitely want to stay here on our next trip to Hilo!

Beautiful grounds. Nice screened outside sitting area. Lovely home. Located conveniently. Fun to hear the frogs croaking and birds calling.The second bathroom is downstairs in the basement and the stairway light wasn't working.

Late October stay

Property is as-described/pictured. Very comfortable and conveniently located right by the historic downtown area. No AC but comfortable with windows up and fans on. Wish the TV were in the living room but we didn’t watch much anyway. We would stay here again.

Peaceful and relaxing

The home is very clean and very comfortable! The antique furniture is beautiful. The property is beautifully landscaped with amazing flowering plants and fruit trees. The owner was very attentive and left a bowl of tangerines and starfruit from his yard out for us. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Comfortable Home Base

Quiet neighborhood, great home base convenient for walking into town or for exploring further afield. Extra touches of flowers, coffee, etc. were especially appreciated. We also enjoyed the eclectic collection of interesting objects/ art throughout the house. Impressive backyard lychee tree and associated wildlife!

Peaceful island retreat

My family and I had a wonderful stay in this house. It was well-equipped with everything we needed for a weeklong stay in the Hilo area. We particularly appreciated the cooler, snorkel gear, and well-stocked kitchen. The lack of air conditioning was not a problem at all, as the whole-house fan and additional fans that were delivered during our stay helped keep the house very comfortable. Kevin was a wonderful host and very responsive. We would definitely recommend this house!

Ideal Hilo Get Away House

The house was fabulous, lots of history and charm. The grounds are well taken care of and beautiful . . . the fresh avocados were a treat. The frogs were very active and added to the tropical feel of the property. Kevin is a great host and very attentive to our needs. The location is close to downtown HIlo . . . very convenient. We loved the kitchen . . . very well stocked, chef quality cookware, and sharp knives (thanks!!!). We have no hesitation in recommending this property.

House in Hilo

The owner was a pleasure to communicate with. The property is fabulous. Great location to downtown Hilo. The renovations are lovely- brought some ideas back to my own home! The yard is beautiful and I greatly enjoyed my morning cup of coffee sitting outside watching the Mongoose & listening to the birds. The absolute ONLY complaint (and would not have been such a big deal had our flights not gotten cancelled resulting in a long, late drive from Kona) is there were no stocked beverages available other than tea bags. We STRONGLY recommend this property. It is simple, quaint, & comfortable.

Great stay for Big Island Marathon

My family and I came to Hilo so I could run the Big Island International (1/2) Marathon. The house was a quick drive to the start/finish. We loved being able to walk downtown (past a beautiful waterfall), especially since parking can sometimes be hard to find. We also loved having so much space to spread out, the peaceful setting, the juicy tangerines from the front yard, the screened in lanai, nice easy parking, great laundry/drying facilities, and a big well-stocked kitchen - we ate most of our meals at the house. Based on a few past reviews we weren’t sure about the downstairs shower but everyone actually preferred it! Kevin was very quick to respond and very helpful. We especially appreciated being able to leave our luggage for several hours after we checked out. This is a great house/yard/location and we’d love to return.
