Private island retreat with an awesome jungle view. Situated in an upscale Hilo neighborhood. Close to downtown, delicious restraunts, and a fun farmers market. This unit is a completely separate guest room that has a private entrance and private bathroom. Plus a covered parking spot to help you escape the tropical rains ;). There are no outdoor seating areas.

From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect! Private parking, super nice room, comfortable bed, and the hosts were great. Only a few minutes from downtown, close to waterfalls and the lava tube caves. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

We throughly enjoyed our stay. The owners greeted us with a small gift for our anniversary (was was yummy). They also provided us with a link to watch the fountain eruption happening at Kiluea. Parking was a breese and the accommodations were great for 2 people. The view is lovely and you are just far away enough from town to feel like you are in the country but close enough that you are anywhere within 5/10 minutes.

Cute condo in a great location! This is our second time staying at this location and one we would certainly stay at again. The bed and accommodations are very comfortable. I enjoy the view of the lush and tropical backyard. The nighttime frog sounds are great for sleeping IMO but if you are sensitive to noise, consider bringing earplugs. Overall a great place to stay!!

For our purpose this stop was wonderful. The two hosts are as good as it gets and the setting and the room is so much better than any resort, etc. Super peaceful and beautiful! I'll list the cons: the bathroom oddities as noted by others, and there is nowhere that is "desk-like" to put a laptop. These "cons" didn't apply to us - we loved it! Did I mention the cacao tree?

The Hilo studio was wonderful. The unit is newly constructed and is clean, bug free, and well done.The location is super quiet and very tropical. It’s a great spot for relaxation and the jungle sounds put you right to sleep. It is a short walk to town with coffee and amenities. We loved our time on the big island and this place was a great home base for us.

Hannah’s property was beautiful! Such a hidden gem in Hilo. She went above & beyond to take care of us & we appreciated it so much! We would absolutely book another stay! Do not hesitate to book!

Wonderful stay in a peaceful oasis

Great stay in a quiet area and a few minutes ride to the center of Hilo. I loved the greenery views and the sounds of what felt like the rain forest. The bed was quite comfortable, A/C was solid, and easy communication with the host. I would definitely stay here again!

I was on a work trip, and even though i only stayed here one night, it was beautifully peaceful one. i wish i would've stayed my whole trip. What a beautiful spot i never knew was here before!

Great property, perfect location

If you want to feel like you’re in the rainforest, but also want to be close to town, then this is for you! It’s very close to Old Town Hilo, but doesn’t feel it at all. It’s very pretty and well equipped. Beds sleep great. Great directions for parking and checking in which was done through pictures. Would recommend again and again!
