We truly enjoyed our stay. House was perfect for a group of 10. Only wish there was a little more lighting in the dining area but other than, it was perfect and would definitely stay at Happy Ours again!!

Happy Ours

Everything was good except there was no lighting in the great room above the dining room table. Very poorly lit when trying to play games after dark in the evenings!

Family get-away

My husband and I wanted to gather my son & daughter in law, our 2 nephews and their wives, and their aunt and her husband - 10 people. We don't live too very far from one another, but can't seem to get together but a couple times a year. We decided to try this - 4 days, 3 nights, all together to see how it would go. If it turns out that we decide to do it every year, then great. But, it could be a one and done. Had never used VRBO, so once destination was decided, began to search. I found 5 properties that would suit, but Happy Ours was top of the list. Had the others chime in, and we agreed. Cannot tell you how happy I was to find that the home was everything as advertised. Enough space for us all to be together and enough space to get away from everyone if needed. Each bedroom having their own bath was extra nice. We will be back!

Stay was fine but could be better

The house was clean inside and very roomy. The pull out bed upstairs was broken. The hot tub is neglected. The surrounding area by the hot tub that you should be enjoying was filthy covered in bugs and spider webs. Just like the rest of the outside. All the door frames and windows are covered in bugs and dirt. All it could take is a quick pressure wash and wipe down. For the price you pay to enjoy the outside the outside should be taken care of.

Great Getaway Weekend

The house was great and the area was awesome for a bachelor party getaway. Our only complaint was the lake access was a little far to walk to, also the deck chairs around the fire pit were in poor quality.

Great family gathering!

This house was perfect for my siblings and I and our spouses to gather for some adults only family time. Each couple had a private bathroom, there is a wonderful deck where we ate lunch and dinner each day at a table that sat all of us, and we enjoyed the fire pit in the evening. We hope we can do this again!

It is an amazing house

Big spacious well located fron everywhere..close to Lake so we could rent a boat and walk to the pier assigned..its not on lake but was not inconvenient getting to and parking at assigned pier..overall a well maintained property to rent..

I had a great time l had no issues checking in, the house was great but It did have some cobwebs here and there besides that the house was great the only issue we had was checking out we were unable to throw out the trash being that the trash compactor was inoperable.

Beautiful home

Its a beautiful home it snowef so couldn't enjoy the outside features. Need better cleaning people cobwebs and dust on somethings and trash was found behind a table .. it has the worst internet service. Overall I like my stay

I had higher hopes

I was extremely disappointed with the Wifi. Also the fireplace did not work the first night. Management was very unclear and lacked communication to get it fixed. There was no hand soap anywhere, cleanliness could have been better.

Perfect Gathering place for old friends

The house was just as described. Clean, spacious (slept 13 grown men comfortably), beautiful, and perfectly located near shopping as well as water. The management company was quick to respond to all inquiries. Would absolutely rent this house again.
