Great location

The house was ideally located relative to the beach and pool and easy walking distance to Rosemary and Alys. The house was well maintained and the kitchen appliances were very nice. The gathering place on the 3rd floor was a nice perk too!

This home provides a large but cozy interior, a well stocked kitchen, a large outdoor deck and 4 bikes to get around on. With the ocean, pools, shopping and dining minutes away, who could ask for more!!

Sip n’ sea didn’t disappoint

We had a wonderful time. Our house was clean and looked exactly like it did on the pictures. You’re just a walk or bike ride to everything. The pool was exceptional and of course the ocean is always breathtaking.

LOVED this house

We have been coming to 30A for many, many years, staying in Seacrest Beach the last 5. The location of this house couldn’t be more perfect. Easy, quick walk to the beach and restaurants in Seacrest. Pool is literally across the street. House is equipped with everything you could possibly need, and more. Even has a wine fridge for extra storage. Bedrooms and bathrooms are roomy. My favorite house in Seacrest we’ve stayed in!!

Each bedroom with comfortable beds and pillows for a very restful night sleep. Bathrooms stocked with plenty of plush towels etc. Games for rainy days and bikes for morning and evening rides. Location is perfect for beach and pool access. We plan on renting again next year!

Amazing stay at Seacrest Beach

We had a wonderful stay with my family, my sister’s family and our parents. The home is beautiful and in excellent condition. We enjoyed the outdoor spaces as much as the indoor ones. It was easy to walk into Rosemary Beach for shopping, dinner, or ice cream each day. Our kids loved it! The resort pool is gorgeous and it is a very short walk (4-5 minutes) to the beach. We only had one tiny hiccup - there is an induction stove in the kitchen but only some of the pots were compatible with it. After trial and error, we were able figure out which pots we were actually able to cook with. All in all, we would definitely consider staying there again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love the location and have stayed here before. However this year several things were needing repair in the kitchen. Also I didn’t feel like the utensils and dishes were very clean when we first used them. Last, check in at 5:00 is so almost like losing an entire day considering check out is at 10 the next morning. I would think guests should be able to check in by 3:00.

Beach Access

The property was clean and big enough for 10 people. The walk to the beach was not a problem. The beach itself was the big problem. I’ve never been to a beach where it is controlled by the beach chair/umbrella companies. If you brought your own chairs you had a small piece of beach and we were packed like sardines. Horrible. We ended up driving to the public beach access so that we could have some space to throw a football. BecAuse of that we will not be coming back.

We’re sorry to hear your experience at the beach didn’t meet expectations. Unfortunately, like many areas along 30A, portions of the beach are privately managed by vendors and property owners, which can limit space for personal setups. This is something that’s common across much of the area and not something we as a management company have control over. That said, we do our best to communicate beach access details ahead of time and are always happy to help guests find the nearest public access points with more open space. We appreciate your feedback and hope the rest of your stay was enjoyable.

The only complaint I have about the whole place is the floors were dirty. Our feet would all turn black after walking on it barefoot. Seems like they swept but maybe didn’t mop? Anyways that’s the only negative of the whole house. Everything else was clean and great! LOCATION is gold! Royal destination crew was very kind and helpful always.

There is black mold in the downstairs room which made it in unusable and that door does lock but can still be open from the inside so littles can open the door even when it’s locked. The ari on the second floor did not work. Management did get this fixed quickly but it seemed to be a common problem.

Reviewer Comments: We rented a house so that we would have the ability to eat at home rather than going to costly restaurants. Unfortunately, from day one, the stovetop did not work. We were sent 2 hotplates. Totally inadequate. Also, the barbeque grill was engulfed in flames, due to the fact that it was never cleaned. Needless to say, all the food we bought on arriving was wasted. Front porch furniture also had seen better days. Found the management company to be less than responsive. Also, do not rent chairs from La Dolce Vita. The area was overcrowded and they allowed people who didn't rent chairs to encroach on our area.

We do a good job on keeping our grills cleaned and maintained and we are sorry this may have been overlooked for your stay. We will use this information moving forward to make sure that the grill here is always ready for the next guest to use. I do apologize that this lead to ruining your food supply. Also, since your stay stay, some of the patio furniture has been updated and new cushions have been put on the furniture that was dated. We are sorry that the beach was overcrowded during your stay. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our time in Seacrest Beach and our stay at Sip n' Sea. The home is priced competitively for the area and has a lot to like. With some improvements, this would be a five-star experience. Things we liked:- The home is more spacious than pictured; it gave our family of 13 plenty of room to spread out- Each bedroom has a private deck, with a huge deck on the third floor (featuring a mini fridge and sink just inside the door)- The bathrooms are all very nice and recently renovated- The kitchen features a wine fridge, which we used for storing beer and soda- We appreciated the ice maker that sat on the counter, which we put to good use- The property is across the street from the pool, making it close but not too close)- This area of the property was very quiet, even though it is right near the front entrance- Seacrest Beach is walkable to Rosemary Beach for restaurants and shopping We had a few issues during our stay that should be addressed: - A/C on the 2nd & 3rd levels could not keep the house cool during the day (we reported the issue twice, but never had a permanent fix)- The water filter in the fridge needs replaced- Some of the furniture (especially the deck furniture) is starting to show its age - The home could use a guide book for the property and an explanation of the living room remotes--there were literally 7 remotes! - There was significant mold in the washing machine, which a team member attempted to clean without success As others have noted in their reviews, the beach is overwhelmed by a private umbrella operator charging outrageous fees. I suggest heading a couple miles east to the state park for a much better beach experience.

Thank you for your review on Sip N' Sea! We are glad you enjoyed your stay and wish that it could have been better! Sip N' Sea is located in a prime location in Seacrest with close proximity to Rosemary and Alys Beach. The beach is just a short walk away and the community pool is just across the street! Restaurants and shopping are all very close by! This house definitely has its fair share of decks and views! Since your stay, the issues with the a/c unit have been resolved Some of the patio furniture has been updated and most of the cushions have been replaced with new ones! As far as the remote situation in the living room, this home is equipped with a separate audio/visual unit that requires its own remote. Some of the other remotes have been removed or were unnecessary for the use of the TV. The mold in the washing machine is actually mold stains. The mold was removed from the rubber rim of the machine, but because it is rubber and porous, it left behind stains. This piece is in the process of being replaced. A new rubber rim was ordered not too long after your stay and has been on backorder. Thank you for staying at Sip N' Sea and we hope to see you back at 30A soon!

Beautiful House, Need to Fix House Locks

Reviewer Comments: House is beautiful and clean, right across from the pool and close to the entrance of the neighborhood, so only a few minutes away from the beach. Overall we had an amazing week. Our biggest issue with the house was the locks. The door in the downstairs bedroom is always able to be opened - the lock only controls whether you can open the door from the outside. All of the doors to the decks have no lock whatsoever. We had young kids in the house, and they could easily get out of the house from the door in the downstairs bedroom - and I felt like the doors on the decks was definitely a safety concern. I called the office to see if they could switch out the knobs, and they said I could rent baby gates for all of the doors - and I didn't think we should have to pay extra just to keep the house secure. Also, as you get closer to check in with this rental company, they send you an email and they have some houses that you can go directly to the house to check in, and others that you have to go to the office. This house required you to go to the office, so I assumed we would have to go there because we had to pick up the wristbands and the car tags and all of that. No. You drive there, they give you some papers that could has easily been emailed or uploaded to the app, and then you have to go to the house and call security to get the wristbands and car tags. This was our first year to have to go to an office to check in and I thought it was pretty pointless - and traffic to get there at 4pm when everyone is trying to check in is kind of crazy. Also, we had no way to unlock the back 2 doors (the door to the downstairs bedroom and the door into the laundry room) so you had to unlock from the front door (but you have to park in the back of the house).

Thank you so much for your review. We are happy that you enjoyed your stay and that you and your guests felt the home was clean and comfortable. We offer an in office check in for some homes based on the proximity of the home to our office and this home is just a few minutes drive. However, we are always more than happy to accommodate a remote check and would have done so for you. We understand that for some it is easier to just check in and start your vacation! During peak season, we think its nice to have a personal check in where we can offer answers to our guests questions and hopefully give you a face to put with a name. Also, there have not been any previous concerns about the door locks on the balconies of this home but we will look at this closer. The safety and comfort of our guests is of our greatest concern and we will see if a better alternative is available!

Sip n' Sea Spring Break Vacation

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I'll start with the positives of Sip n' Sea. This house is the most beautiful property I've stayed at on 30A. It's well-maintained, nicely decorated & was very clean & tidy (and I'm pretty picky about cleanliness). The location within Seacrest can't be beat. It's literally across the street from the pool and at the front of the development, so the walk to the beach is super fast. The kitchen was well-appointed: I can't say there was any kitchen item that we needed that wasn't there. And there was plenty of linen provided. Now the not-so-positives: while the house was stunning, it wasn't very functional. For example, there were no dressers in the bedrooms, which made it hard to settle in for a week (the 1st floor bedroom did have a dresser because there was no closet). There were one or a few shelves in the bedrooms - varied by room - where clothes could be placed, but there really wasn't much total shelf space. This could have been overcome by hanging some of our clothes, but there were no hangers in the closets, which is not an item I'm used to needing to travel with. There were also no laundry baskets in the home. The laundry area is on the main floor and the bedrooms are on the second and third floors, so handling laundry for a week was a bit challenging in terms of carting piles of loose clothes up and down stairs. Lastly, the 3rd floor has one queen bedroom and a bunk area for two people; however, the bathroom has one towel bar. There was not enough room to hang towels and wash cloths for three people. While we were there, we had several items that needed to be addressed by the property management company. The employees were extremely kind, however the promised time frames for resolving our issues were never met, & several of them were never resolved (air in the bike tire, hangers that were offered for the closet, etc.). I got weary of calling & feeling like a nag, so we just dealt with it. Overall, I'd probably not stay here again, despite how lovely it i

We also are happy that you found Sip N Sea to be clean and inviting with plenty of king size bedrooms. We really appreciate you sharing some things that you feel would make this home even more perfect. We've taken the opportunity to add plenty of hangers to every closet, luggage racks for each room, extra towel hooks in the bathroom along with extra hanging shelves and laundry baskets for carrying items downstairs. While we were there a few times throughout your stay to help, we regret that we disappointed your request for additional hangers. I called the # to report and was informed the range was not working and the part was on back order...could have been make aware of the situation before hand. Really didn’t like using the other devices to cook food. The biggest complaint was the ROACHES in tue bottom cabinet.....WOW! That just made my vacation a complete failure.

We try and provide our guest with a way to cook by providing (3) double burners that cook just like a stove top. Amazing Stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wonderful beach house in Seacrest Beach. Loved everything about the hike except for the the cooktop. It wasn’t working properly when we arrived and the code flashing on the screen said it needed to be reset. We just used the hot plates instead so it wasn’t an issue. We loved the location and the kids enjoyed the top floor. We will definitely stay here again. Royal Destination had the best customer service we have experienced in the 30A area.
