Family Vacation

Summer 2025

This was our 3rd time staying at this property. It suits our family: Walkable to the beach, park that allows dog off leash during certain hours close by, walking distance to town and enough bedrooms for all.

Beautiful house close to Moonlight Beach

We stayed with a group of 8 adults and the house was perfect. We were able to walk to coffee, dinner and the beach. The house was clean and spacious and the backyard was beautifully maintained and a nice place to sit out and enjoy drinks, music and good conversation. The train was a bit noisy in the morning hours but nothing that would prevent us from staying here again!

Property was quiet, and clean. Kitchen is very large, plenty of space. Back yard was enjoyable. The beach items were a surprise and were used at Moonlight and stone steps beach's. The walk (10 min) to downtown Encinitas was perfect yet far enough away to not detect any downtown noise. The weekend Flea market downtown and at the Elementary school are easy walking distance. The Trains are quiet, we did not hear them blowing their horns at street crossings.I would book this property again next time we come to town.

Encinitas Vaca

We had a party of 6 and the house was great, lots of room, with a great outdoor area and fire pit. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking appliances. The master bedroom was enormous. All the other bedrooms were of nice size. The bed linens were great quality. Very close to lots of restaurants and beaches. Only thing that was not clear was that one of the bedrooms was down on the first floor right by the front door. Our group had a great time.

Walk to the park, downtown, and beach

This home was "home base" for our family of 9. Two grand-parents, four adult children, and three grand-children. One set of parents were with their 7 year old in the very large master, the grand-parents had the other upstairs room with the in-suite shower, and the third set of parents had a room with their young daughters sharing the fourth upstairs room. We chose to not use the bottom bedroom. The large family room and dining room tended to be where everyone hung out to play cards, read books, work on bead projects, etc. We had a great time walking to the nearby park, walking to Lofty Coffee every morning, carrying beach supplies to Moonlight Beach several times, visiting the San Diego Botanical Gardens (Encinitas), and even attended the San Diego County Fair in Del Mar. The driveway was a bit tricky at times with three vehicles, but we worked it out. It was definitely an easy home to keep track of our items with just the right amount of decor. Enjoy!

Perfect, Well-Appointed Space

We had a family of 8: grandparents, siblings and young adult children for a week. The space worked beautifully for large family dinners, comfortable sleeping, sense of having your own space as well as gathering together. Back yard is lovely. Host was very responsive. Really appreciated all the beach gear, including a surfboard for my daughter. You are going to hear the train at night. Not sure how far away from the beach you have to go in order for that not to happen. So it's a choice. Being able to walk to moonlight beach was of great value to our group. Everyone felt that the house itself contributed to the success of our vacation.

Amazing

We are so very pleased by our fantastic stay at this place. It far exceeded any of our expectations that someone could have integrity and actually follow through with the descriptions in the listing. It was beautiful it was well kept and well-stocked. It was just amazing in our family had a great time even though we were here for a funeral. God bless you guys for having the integrity and the grace to provide for people what you said you would provide.

Spring Break 2022

My family and I had to get out of Vegas for a few days so we decided on LEGOLAND. What a fantastic place to stay if ever in the area. It was not right across the street from the theme park but that was better by far. THANK YOU for opening your VRBO to us! It was absolutely perfect! Everything we needed for a vacation. We did not need to pack anything!!! Thank you Catalina and family/friends.

Great House

The house was spacious, clean and well stocked. The south facing living & dining areas get a lot of natural light. The master suite is amazing. The location was convenient for walking into town or down to the beach. Nicole was very responsive. There is some train noise - a common problem in the area. Overall, would recommend and stay again.

Encinitas House

This house is lovely. It was a great size for our family. It is clean and very well equipped. It is just as the pictures show it to be. It's an easy walk to town. There is plenty of parking. There is a two car garage, room in driveway and on street. We enjoyed our stay and will definitly stay again.

Ideal home for our family beach trip

The home was ideal for a family vacation. There were 9 people including two toddlers. The home was spotless, updated, and spacious. The backyard was awesome. The patio table and dining room table were large enough to accommodate everyone. Nicole, the property manager could not be more attentive and accommodating. I actually lost a tiny gold bracelet. It was found and returned back to me. All in all I would give the home and accommodations a top rating and hope to come back next year.

Girls Getaway

This was a fantastic house for a girls weekend away. There were 8 of us and it was the perfect set up. We had a great time and enjoyed the backyard and the stuff for the beach. It was a quick walk to the beach. Comfy beds! Great experience for all of us.

Loved the Home!

The Home was large and spacious for our entire family. Check in was easy and house was spotless. The location was also great being Blocks away from the beach. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely, spacious home near all

We were fortunate enough to spend several weeks at Nicole's house as part of our annual family vacation. The house is very spacious with lots of room for everyone and then some. The kitchen is well-stocked with all the essentials and the fireplaces kept us warm. The outdoor space is nice the bbq was easy to use. Nicole was very responsive to the few minor issues we encountered and the house is an easy walk/drive to everything Encinitas has to offer. We had a great stay!
