Perfect location for surfing at Grandview Beach, and close to all Leucadia has to offer. The house has big rooms and a nice kitchen. The backyard is very enjoyable, great for the dog and family to hang out. Good parking. Great spot for a family vacation.

This was such a wonderful way for us to visit friends and family in Encinitas. The beach house was clean, comfortable, roomy, and had all the amenities you could need for beach fun and backyard get-togethers! We really enjoyed our time in Leucadia. Will definitely be coming back to Encinitas AND this house.

This is the second time we have stayed at this townhome and we love it. It is perfect for our family and is very comfortable with close proximity to the beach and a few restaurants. We are cyclists so we also enjoyed riding into downtown Encinitas. We hope to come back again!

Perfect beach getaway

My friends and I were invited to a wedding in Vista and wanted to find somewhere to stay that was near the venue as well as other tourist attractions in Oceanside and San Diego. Myself and my partner as well as another couple stayed here. We each had a big room with its own personal bathroom which made everyone feel comfortable in their own space and much better than cramping into hotel rooms. There were some normal house spiders inside but that is to be expected in any home, especially in the summertime. The home itself was comfortable while being one minute away from beach access and 5 minutes from so many cool local coffee shops and fun restaurants. We went into town for dinner and ended up at a car show, the vibes were immaculate! Highly recommend staying here for anyone who wants a convenient and peaceful beach getaway. The homeowner has really thought of everything.

Fabulous home in a great neighborhood

We loved this home and how central it is to everything. We could walk to the beach or to wonderful restaurants. The back yard was very private and comfortable for hanging with the family.

Pleasant house and yard

Comfortable house with pleasant outdoor area. Somewhat in need of updating. Carpeting and furniture are old. Carpets were not really clean. Convenient to Encinitas shops and Carlsbad.

Family visit

Great location with easy access to the beach. The hot water heater gave out and we were not able to turn on the heat during the first part of our stay. The owner took care of replacing the hot water heater and thermostat promptly. As others have mentioned there is an unpleasant odor in the garage. Cleanliness and general maintenance seem to be lacking.

Our Special Get-a-way

The property was in a desirable location with easy access to beaches and restauants. The house had 21/2 baths with a bathroom for each bedrooom and one on the first floor. I especially loved the backyard where I was able to unwind and read. I was a bit disappointed with the utensils in the kitchen. They were rusty and not properly cleaned. We were also invaded by ants. Donelle was helpful and responded to any inquiries.

Great spot!

We loved this place! The backyard was so wonderful to just relax in at the end of the day with our dogs! Super comfortable and cozy. It is in a great location to walk to the beach and shops and restaurants! Such a great place. We will be back!

Great location and terrific host!

the place was easy to find despite it being a little hidden away which we liked because there was no competing for parking in this busy area. The house well appointed and nice to have bedrooms upstairs with a nice sized living room downstairs if someone want to go to sleep early. They bikes, and beach gear making it very convenient. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. The host was very easily reachable.

Wonderful!

We were in town for a family reunion. The location was great for us, very close to our reunion activities and the beach. Loved the house, backyard and the washer/dryer. We would definitely stay here again!
