This spacious retreat features 2 bedrooms (rooms divided by curtains), a full kitchen and living area, and a separate heated bathhouse with a custom shower. The yurt’s 3-foot clear dome skylight is perfect for stargazing under the Michigan night sky.
Relax around the large fire pit in the evening or explore nearby ORV trails, the Pere Marquette River for fishing and kayaking, and Ludington’s beaches just 30 minutes away. Whether you’re seeking a peaceful getaway or outdoor adventure, this yurt offers the best of both worlds.

Great place to rent! Host was easy to get ahold of and we were able to park at the yurt before check in to go ride the atv trails. We loved it here!

Beautiful inside with full size kitchen and two bedrooms, leather furniture, etc. We took a stack of moving blankets with us as a safeguard to protect the furniture and kept dogs off furniture. Bath house was a little problem as we are both handicapped and stairs were difficult. Also we couldn’t use shower as it had no water but sink worked fine for sponge baths. Firepit was nice, but Ticks were everywhere. Cleaned and vacuumed yurt and bath house before checking out so in pristine condition for next guests. Our daughter is a paramedic and took good care of us. Had a good time.

Not sure why Carole couldn't get the hot and cold running water working in the shower because it works perfectly fine. If she would have reached out to us we would gladly have helped her out if she couldn't get the faucets to turn on. Also, we don't claim to be handicap accessible so marking us down on this review for that is unwarranted. We also tell all guests in our check-in details that our yurt is in the woods and that there are bugs.

Yurt getaway

This was a beautiful place to stay! Set off the road, nestled in the woods. They had everything we needed and we especially enjoyed the reclining sofas after finishing the North Country Trail run! We will definitely stay again.

Great get away

Very unique building, has heat, a/c, nice bath house, very comfortable overall. Close to ATV trails, not a far drive from restaurants. Overall had a great weekend with my family.

Great place for a peaceful getaway

My wife and I wanted to have a short getaway to have some peaceful relaxing time from our hectic life so we gave this place a shot and it was really worth it. The yurt is so clean and literally has everything you could need except wifi which was the whole point so make sure to bring movies with you for a movie night! The bonfire area is really nice with cozy lights. It’s the ideal place to come with friends too. AND the rain sound when it hits the yurt was so therapeutic! Next time we’re definitely coming for a longer stay.

Pleasantly surprised

I hate to give a five star summary because it means more bookings and less availability. But here is the honest truth. First and foremost it is CLEAN! It is NOT the base camp for the "guys" headed up north to see how many cases of beer they can drink. It is a great location for the wife and kids, especially if the wife has a dislike for the typical "cabin" the guys are used to staying in for the weekend salmon fishing trip. There are things I would definitely change about the property but that is personal preference. The yurt is laid out nicely with little privacy but more than a hotel room. The Kitchen has everything you need with many minor details included (zip lock bags, spice rack, coffee, etc.). The bathroom is very nicely finished but is a bit of a walk away from the yurt, not too far but enough that in the rain it is an imposition. Again, very CLEAN. I did not feel that I needed dollar store flip flops in order to shower. The setting is very quiet with the exception of the neighbors rooster who lets you know that 6:30 a.m. has arrived yet again. In short it was a perfect adventure. One that the wife and our kids hope to make a yearly memory if not more frequently. So anyone reading this, please go elsewhere so you don't make it more difficult for me... LOL, but seriously

I rented the yurt with my daughter and granddaughters so that our 3 generations of women could enjoy a glamping experience together. This property exceeded all expectations! There was great attention to detail with lots of little extras that made our stay really perfect, and the privacy and beauty of the location were much appreciated. And with just a 39 minute drive to Ludington, there was lots to do in the area!

This was our first vacation rental property and is still one of our favorites. It has all the comforts of home but in a rustic setting.
