If I were to go to St Thomas again I would stay on the Caribbean side of the resort. The views were much nicer. The copious dead seaweed which comes in the mid summer was much worse at the marina and smelled much worse there too! Other than the restaurants on the premises, you have to drive or take a taxi anywhere. The beach was beautiful!

The condo was the perfect location with all amenities within walking distance. The ferry is near by to jump over to St. John. We had an awesome stay.

Lovely family stay

This condo is exactly how it is described! Being on the marina was fun and we enjoyed watching the boats come in and out. We stayed here with our 2 children (9 and 4). We used the kitchen everyday and had everything we needed. The resort was great, good snorkeling and we had lots of meals at the restaurant up the hill, kids loved the pizza too. Grocery store is less than a mile away (not walkable due to traffic)We rented a car and went to Magens bay (saw 6 sea turtles!). Also took the ferry to St. John and went to trunk bay, so beautiful. The only issue we had is the first three days there was a terrible smell outside, a waste smell. Only in front of the marina. It was almost unbearable to sit outside. It did go away after a couple days, so I don't know what was going on or if that is common but it might make me reconsider booking this condo again.

Road hard and put away wet.

The pictures look great. And the room was fine but the contents (pots pans silverware and towels were minimal and icky. No shampoo, broken closet door. All in all the place needs some love.

Wonderful studio on sapphire beach

We loved this unit! We picked the F building because it is quieter away from the beach and we loved the view of the marina. The studio was a good size and very comfortable. Provided everything we needed to be comfortable. It was only 2-3 minutes to the beach, restaurants, and coffee shop. Only comment is that they were doing construction and sand blasting and drilling next door most of the week which Was very loud but you wouldn’t know if they were going to do work or not. We’ll definitely be back to Sapphire beach resort and would love to stay in this unit again!

Great Location

Sapphire is the best spot on St. Thomas for a fun yet relaxing holiday. This unit had everything we needed and the communication with the owner was excellent.

Great Resort

This is our second time to Sapphire Condos and could not be happier changing from up top to down by beach. We had beautiful views of marina and a partial sunrise. Our host gave great instructions and recommendations. Any additional questions were answered quickly. The unit needed a little touch ups but was great for our needs. It has a king bed, 2 sinks in bath and full tub and shower. All necessary kitchen utensils, plates etc available and full fridge freezer. We had a pleasant stay.

Review

We enjoyed the property. It was clean and nice and had a good beach to hang out on with a bar and food available. Being at the marina also made it easy to do a parasailing trip w our kids. Was great to have a little cooler we could use.

Wonderful experience

The condo was clean and roomy. Nice view of the marina. The bathroom and closet doors could use some cosmetic updates done (toilet paper holder was missing from the wall and shower could be better). One of the kitchen drawers was broken, so when you pulled it out it tended to drop down. One of the chairs to the dinette set was broken and the other two were fairly wobbly. The beach chairs that were in the closet are old and mildewed and should probably just be thrown away. There are other beach chairs available in another area of the resort. Overall, it was a nice place to stay and we enjoyed our time there.

This was a great spot. It was spotless, and the unit had everything that you needed. We loved watching the boats in the Marina. We would stay here again.

Marina view

Condo was as pictured, had everything needed for a day at the beach and kitchen had everything needed to cook a few meals. There were some things that needed fixing. View of the marina was nice in the mornings/afternoons. Sudi’s just up the hill had great food/drinks and everyone was super friendly. For us, sapphire beach and the bar/food scene at that end of the resort was a bit too busy, so we enjoyed being at the other end by the marina which was more laid back. Pool area was lovely but no bar - looks like at one time there was a bar but it was damaged. Note check in time is 4:00 - they were just finishing up cleaning at 4. Magen’s beach was our favorite day trip (other than time on St John) and we enjoyed the sunset catamaran out of Margaritaville.

This was a great property to stay. Clean and great view from deck. Very relaxing place. Easy taxi rides to stores restaurants etc. Took a taxi from the airport ($16 ea) taxi to Redhook ($6 ea). There are restaurants and a bar within a short walk.

Lovely stay in St. Thomas

First -the condo is very cute! It even seems larger in person that online. We loved the marina view - nice to get away from the beach scene for some quite once in awhile - and the daily iguana show was super entertaining. There are a few minor updates that need to be fixed in the bathroom - but other than that, it was perfect. Sapphire beach is beautiful with decent snorkeling - but it does get very windy. The food at all the onsite restaurants was so tasty - highlights include the fish tacos at the beach bar, pizza at Slice, Mexican and catch of the day at Sudis - and although we did not eat there - enjoyed martinis and wine during Golden Hour at sunsets. The onsite taxi stand is so convenient too - $6 to Red Hook for more dining options. We have never been to St. Thomas before and were very happy with our choice of place to stay!

Great Location

Sapphire Beach is an excellent location on St Thomas near the Red Hook Ferries to St John. This unit overlooks the marina and beautiful sunrises on the water. It is well-stocked and very comfortable.
