Kokomo -

Kokomo is a lovely vacation home, and with lots of recent updates, it’s a great place to gather with family and/or friends. It comfortably accommodates 14 guests with 1 king bed and 6 queen beds. Located in the charming, gated community of Old Florida Beach, this gulf front home offers 4 porches with awesome views of the emerald surf and sugar sand beach. The quaint community provides walking paths and paved sidewalks for leisurely strolls down to the community pool or community lake dock, perfect for kayaking or canoeing on the nearby coastal dune lake.

The floor plan offers privacy for everyone, and plenty of room for everyone to gather. The porch and outdoor dining table provides additional room for the nights you decide to cook and dine-in. Down your private walk way to the beach, enjoy the elevated bench seating for those who want to comfortably view the sunrise, sunset and beach without touching the sand. And location, location, location! Kokomo is located approximately midway between Sandestin/Baytowne Wharf and world famous Seaside; just 8 miles to Sandestin and 6 miles to Seaside.

Such a great trip!

My family and I had a great time! The house was comfortable and the beach was gorgeous. Since we’re near public entrances to the beach, it could get a little crowded—but when you’re staying right on the beach, it’s hard to complain about anything! We would totally stay here again.

Just wonderful !

Kokomo was amazing ! The beach access was perfect and the house had everything we needed. There was few minor things that needed to be fixed and the house could use some fresh paint and updating , but overall the place was wonderful to stay . We will definitely be back again !

Girls Trip

The home was so well laid out- so much room. There was plenty of parking space - we had 3 cars. The location was wonderful with great views from the top balcony. The beach walkover was so convenient. Easy walking distance to several restaurants and shops. Would definitely rent this house again.

A perfect slice of paradise

Kokomo is perfectly situated on the beautiful white sands of Santa Rosa Beach, and even better equipped than we expected. We had everything we needed for our stay and particularly watching the sunset from the boardwalk benches. This house is incredibly spacious. I hope we get to enjoy it again next year!

Almost perfect

Everything about accomodations and location were superior. All was wonderful except one thing…… internet wifi signal was very weak…. Such that my two working sons had to go to the Barns and Noble to do work.

Fun in Kokomo

Great beach house, lots of space for our family get together of 11. Loved the beach access and decks! There were lots of towels provided. We need maintenance and someone came to check on it quickly. Check in and out was extremely easy and communication with the office was very easy. We had a time!

Perfect place!

We absolutely loved this house, this location and this neighborhood! It was perfect for us! The only piece of advice I could give the management company is to increase the internet speed... it is quite slow and made it very difficult to use laptops, phones, etc on the wifi.

Perfect accomodations for our 3 generation family

Kokomo was ideal for our family vacation. There was room for all of us to sit at the dining table, and plenty of dinnerware for eating in. The kitchen was well stocked - another plus. The couches and chairs in the living room were comfortable and there was room for all of us to play card games and work puzzles. The decor definitely added to the beach ambiance and nicely casual. The direct access to the beach was great for young children (and older adults!) We really enjoyed the bench seating at the top of the steps to the beach - a perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning!

Nice beach and nice home with boardwalk directly to beach but to close to public access.

Wild party just next to us (by public access) consisted of drunk young folks that resulted in several same sex PDA in the ocean just in front of our grandchildren. This is suppose to be a family beach. Not good. Will not return to this exact area

Kokomo House on Point

Overall our entire family of 12 enjoyed the Kokomo House. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate us. The Old Florida Beach Community was top notch and very inviting to us Vacationers. Pool Area was very clean and impressive. Not overstated but impressive. Only disappointment was the wifi didn't work and the Ocean Reef Management personnel didn't follow through on the 3 open order correction tickets. WiFi is very important to me as a business owner who needs wifi at 2pm everyday, vacation or not. Note this: if they get the wifi corrected, I could see me booking an off-season management retreat there but ONLY if they address the wifi.

So close to perfect

This property did all the big things right, but failed in the margins. The house's location is unbeatable, right on the beach and in a gated community with shared community pool. The house is definitely dated, but the 5 bedrooms slept our group of 3 families easily.Unfortunately, it does seem like the upkeep is lacking. A piece of siding was missing from the front of the house when we checked in. The handle on one the toilets did not work (could only flush by lifting off the tank lid and pulling up the flapper by hand) and 2 of the shower doors would not stay closed due to incorrect installation. The managing company was fairly responsive and "put in a maintenance ticket", but who wants a handy man joining your beach vacation? Really close to being a perfect property, but ultimately just another VRBO trying to churn through guests as fast as possible while avoiding maintenance and upkeep.

Great location for family beach trip!

This property had plenty of space for our family of 9 adults, 2 kids and 1 toddler. Beach was bit more crowded as the property is close to the public beach access, but there was no problem with this. The benefit is having a lifeguard close by as they patrol the public beach areas. We had a great time hiring a company to have a bonfire on the beach. The house has an entire bar area in the king bedroom upstairs (including Keurig; ice machine and wine fridge). Each bedroom had a TV with Direct TV cable. Driveway had enough parking for 4 cars. The neighborhood is lovely to walk around with a community pool. There is access to a small bay/pond area that connects to the ocean (for fishing, kayaks, etc.) The neighborhood is quiet. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils, a crock pot, Instapot, blender. The grill uses propane but there is also a smaller charcoal grill there. Wifi worked well. There is a printer and space for office work in king bedroom.

Nice location for family

Access to the beach w/ private boardwalk was very convenient. The community pool was a nice break from the beach for my grandkids. The property management company was responsive.

Great Stay

This was our second time renting this property. Cleanliness of the property was severely lacking. First night of getting ready to cook and found live bugs and mouse droppings. Rental company did offer pest control but... really you want to spray while the guest are there????

Beautiful home, awesome location!

This house was everything that we wanted and more! Clean, beautiful, spacious and a breathtaking ocean view! The accommodations fit our extended family, perfectly. We loved the private beach access and it's location is within walking distance to a local restaurant, ice cream stand and a few little tourist shops. The gated community is an added bonus for families with little ones. We LOVE Santa Rosa Beach and we hope to make this house a consistent staple in our Florida beach vacation memories!
