La maison parfaite pour vos vacances aux Bahamas. Madrigal Cottage est situé sur l'extrémité nord de l'île, désirable, belle et paisible. La maison est à 101 marches de la paisible plage de Nathans Bay sur la mer d'Abaco (exactement combien de marches il faut pour gravir le phare emblématique d'Elbow Cay) et à 300 marches du côté de l'océan pour les amateurs de vagues. Faites une belle promenade de 1,6 km pour découvrir une ville avec des restaurants et des boutiques. Des informations sur les voiturettes de golf sont disponibles sur demande.

La maison a une magnifique enveloppe autour du pont pour profiter des brises de mer et de la nature. Madrigal est entouré de bougainvilliers et d'arbres créant une cabane dans les arbres comme un décor. Profitez du magnifique jardin et des sentiers pédestres sur la propriété. Les grands cocotiers fournissent de l'ombre et des noix de coco savoureuses pour votre plaisir.

A l'intérieur, profitez du concept ouvert avec de hauts plafonds et 2 chambres spacieuses et 2 salles de bain. La chambre principale a un matelas flambant neuf avec un lit queen et la deuxième chambre a un lit superposé pleine grandeur et un lit jumeau supplémentaire avec gigogne gigogne avec matelas récents. La maison a de grandes fenêtres Anderson avec des écrans permettant à des tonnes de lumière et de vent de traverser la maison. Il y a la climatisation centrale s'il fait trop chaud pour que les fenêtres soient ouvertes.

La cuisine est complète avec tout pour un voyage loin. Cafetière, casseroles, poêles, four à couteaux

La maison est équipée d'un nouveau générateur Kohler 20K, de nouveaux ventilateurs de plafond Hunter, d'une nouvelle télévision à écran plat de 50 pouces, d'Internet, d'un nouveau barbecue, de planches de bodyboard, d'une planche à pagaie. Il y a 3 beaux vélos SUN Beach disponibles pour utilisation

Excellent Cottage on the North End of Hope Town

We rented this house for a month as overflow for friends and business associated during a month long fishing trip in the Abacos. We were very pleased with the cleanliness and amenities. We would rent again.

Madrigal house

My husband, adult daughter and her husband spent seven nights. The house was impeccably cared for very clean. Communication was wonderful with both the property manager and owners. The house is quiet located on the north end of the island. A golf cart was definitely a plus for us. The house is steps away from a wonderful secluded beach, which we went to every day. I highly recommend this home.

Lovely home, very near the best swimming beach, very private and immaculately clean.

Elbow Cay is a charming island and the North End (where Madrigal Cottage is located) is quiet and peaceful. One aspect of this home that I really enjoyed was having a large wraparound porch that allows for sitting outdoors even if it is raining. The house is not immediately on the water, but it is a stones throw away from a lovely beach: the best swimming on the island and a great place to watch the sunset. I highly recommend the home.

Peaceful Paradise

We had such a nice time at Madrigal Cottage. The house was spacious and comfortable, perfect for my husband and I and our two older kids. It’s location on the North End was footsteps away from both the North End Dock as well as a public beach on the Sea of Abaco. We rented a boat from Island Marine for the week and loved the convenience of being able to dock it so close (highly recommend renting a boat during your visit and island hopping). The beach nearest the house was shallow and quiet. Perfect for kids. First day, we saw a ray swim up right where we were swimming and give us a show. We also would use the SUP from the house in the evenings as the water was so calm. A short bike ride and you can reach the Atlantic side beach if you or your kids want to crash against some waves. The power went out several times while we were on the island but the generator kicked in seamlessly. We were SO grateful they had one! WiFi was slow but this seemed to be an island issue and not one attributed to the property (same story at all the restaurants we visited). Plus, it gave me an excuse not to be tempted to check work email. Having the availability of the bikes was also awesome as we didn’t always feel like going through the trouble of firing up the boat to go into the settlement. We ended up renting a fourth/smaller bike from The Bike Shop for our daughter to use (she’s 10 so the adult ones provided were a little too big). The road to town is a little hilly and there are lots of potholes to dodge so it’s not really for a novice bike rider/small child but our family did fine. A golf cart would have been ideal for quicker trips but they were all taken by the time I checked on renting one (recommend doing this at the same time you rent your house... they go fast). And while restaurants will come pick you up if you call, they won’t come to the North End so you gotta make it into the settlement for the shuttles. Toughening it out on bikes “works” but once you see everyone on carts, you’re going to want one. All in all, we had a fabulous visit. Both Lisa (owner) and Hillary (property manager) were super responsive and helpful. Despite the minor effort it takes to get into the settlement, the North End location seems head and shoulders about anywhere else on Elbow Cay. Would highly recommend and hope we can make it back one day!

Hope Town perfection!

Madrigal Cottage was the ideal scenario for our family. It is ate ps from a secluded beach, a short golf cart ride from the store, walking distance to 2 dock options for our rental boat and plenty of room in the house for the 4 of us to relax and enjoy all Hope Town has to offer. Hilary was attentive and helpful, couldn’t have been better!!

Such a nice and comfortable home. We particularly enjoyed the large wraparound porch where you could always find shade and a breeze. The owners were super responsive and helpful!

Awesome

The rental was on the North End of the island and was very peaceful and scenic. The wraparound porches on the second floor made for a nice evening place to unwind from the day. An easy walk to the north docks, that have just been rebuilt, are in fabulous condition. We could easily Park in a very protected spot and did not have to worry about the boat for the trip. Extra high ceilings made for a spacious layout for a two bedroom house. It's great to see hopetown starting to make a comeback. Quite a few restaurants have reopened and the services such as gas and groceries are back on line.

Hopetown vacation

The location of this home is perfect on the north end of Hopetown. Very quiet area, but a close enough golf cart ride into the settlement when you want. The home is literally right next to the north end public dock making it a quick walk to your boat. The home is very clean and was an ideal layout for our family of 4. The owners Morgan and Lisa were great to deal with and very quick to respond to any of our needs.

Wonderful Property/Great Location

The first thing you notice upon arrival is how beautiful and lush the property is, you definitely feel like you are in the islands. The house has everything you need and was as described in the listing. There is an amazing little beach 45 seconds from the door that adds to the experience where the water is calm and shallow for a relaxing swim. The dock is very convenient to the house as well, again just another very short walk. I highly recommend grabbing one of the bikes and take a ride into town, what a cool experience with beautiful views all along the way. Communication with the owners was easy and very quick to respond. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a great island adventure!!

Perfect Vacation Home!

We had a group of 4 and this house was perfect! It was in a great location with beaches nearby and a 7 minute golf cart ride to Hope Town. You are not able to drive a golf cart through Hope Town to get to the Southern part of Elbow Cay but we didn't find this to be a huge issue as all restaurants and bars provided transportation. Theslips are also right across the street if you're renting a boat, which we would definitely recommend. The house had everything you need for a comfortable stay and was very clean. The property manager was also very responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here and we will be returning for another trip!

Wonderful time

Great Location

A spotless, beautiful home in a fantastic location. Very private, quiet and worth every penny.

The property manager Hillary is one of the most genuine and nicest people you will meet. So that started us off relaxed and confident there would be no issues. Everything was flawless. The included golf cart and bikes saved us about $600 (USD) and the convenience was great. No return hassles, etc. The property is 30 second walk to arguably one of the best, quietest, shallow sand beaches around. We spent a lot of time there and literally saw no one else. It was unreal... Tons of windows. I loved the ones only inches from each side of the bed in the master bedroom. The smell and feel of the island breeeze guarantees you’ll sleep like a baby. if you’re looking for a quiet getaway - there is no where better. Though not on the water itself, the savings for that, and the bikes and cart only adds to the reasons to stay here - since we basically had our own private massive beach only steps away. If you have young children - that is the beach you want. We rented 6 other places for a wedding and all other places had a moderate undertow - too strong for young children and some seniors. So they pedalled to our spot, despite backing into the ocean. I waked 50 steps out into the sea side and was only up to my hips.. and I’m not super tall :) Better than the pictures can possibly show. Deck top bbq and breakfast/dinner spot in the massive wrap all the way around deck - 10 feet wide! All the way around... oh, and the washer and dryer only made it better!! Pack light and wash what you need there - cuz if you’re over weight in the charter - you’ll pay dearly. We’ll be back for sure.

Not on the beach, but may be better.

Don’t bypass this property because it’s not in the beach. It’s location is ideal: a very short walk to the beach and dock, but very private. Other awesome things include outdoor shower, access to a golf cart, wrap-around porch, filtered water, no bugs, eclectic library, and plenty of room. People are very friendly on this island. One of my favorite places!
