Nice little suite in a central location for all we wanted to do. It was super clean and had everything we needed. Owner was super communicative and answered quickly and even helped with our questions on touristy things.

Quiet hours - suite above owners

The place was fine. We wish we knew it was a suite above the owners - a shared home -because we would have chosen differently. I wish that was noted in the description. We went to an international convention in Vancouver that had meetings that ended at all times of the day & night. We would get back around midnight (maybe another night at 1 am) then we would hang out & TALK (we DO NOT party) - unfortunately our voices carried and we discovered people lived upstairs when we heard stomping above us. We totally understand quiet hours starting at 11 pm but didn't realize our talking would be a problem.

Hi Bradley, Thanks for taking the time to write a review. I can understand that would’ve been a surprise. Vancouver laws are very strict; to short term rental a space, the property has to be your principal residence. If you find one here with the entire place to yourself, they just haven’t been caught yet. Noise is very good between the floors but 11p-12a when the house is quiet, normal voices travel making it hard to sleep. I will go through the listing to clarify, thanks again for the feedback. Erica

Great place

This is a great unit with excellent value for right in Vancouver. Perfect for families with or without animals along. It is a basement unit in Vancouver, so like everywhere in town, it is a bit damp. Not gross and musty, but if you are super crazy sensitive to this (like me) remember your allergy meds and it will be no problem. Hosts are super helpful, and we really appreciated the food they left us to get started. Decent dog park and a great outdoor pool about 5 minute walk away, super safe neighbourhood, reasonably easy access to good little grocer (Donaldson market). All in all one we will keep on our list for places to stay in Vancouver.

All was perfect in our comfortable house and Erica is a discreet owner, helpfull and understanding. The accomodation is in a good place to visit Vancouver (direct line by bus to dowtown) or around. I recommand this address

Christmas bday vacation

suited me perfectly

I wanted a place near one of my son's apartments - this location is perfect for that. I also happen to love this area - close to the water, easy access to Highway 1 for getting down to friends in Port Coquitlam, easy cycle into the city along the waterfront. The weather was hot enough during my stay to use the outdoor pool nearby, but I opted to jump into the sea - there is a nice quiet stretch of beach nearby with views onto the shipping lane - endlessly interesting watching the boats go by. The property is very spacious, well equipped, comfortable, and my host was great - we barely saw each other, but she made it clear she was able to help with whatever I needed, and replied to any messages very quickly. I would definitely recommend this place, and will be back at some point to visit again.

Quiet sweet retreat

We were delighted to discover how quiet and peaceful it was considering the proximity to busy roads. The owners have equipped the unit extremely well; even providing breakfast makings. Much appreciated. We will definitely use again when traveling to Vancouver.

Awesome place, only 15 min to the heart of downtown Vancouver

We chose this place because it was reasonably priced, accepted our dog, and it looked very comfortable. It was all those things and more. This apartment has 3 bedrooms! And the owner added so many extra special touches for our stay. Thank you!

I’ve been a short term rental host for over 7 years and really enjoy it - travel is important and so is the place you stay during the journey.
