The host sent a welcoming message, with clear instructions. The house was very easy to get to being well marked; was beautiful, welcoming and had everything we needed for our stay. It felt as if we were n a cozy cabin with all the wooded decor. I would definitely stay here again while visiting Yosemite.

Beautiful Home

This house was perfect for our family of 6 plus my sister. We all had enough space, house was clean, location was great to Yosemite, and everything went great! Would recommend and wish we would have stayed longer!

Our 2 families totaling 6 adults stayed in Boot jack for 2 days and acted as the base for our Yosemite NP trip. The property was well located to the NP and amenities, it was well equipped.

Great place to stay!!!

The moment we have arrived at this place, we knew that we were going to have a relaxing time. Great location to drive and visit the Yosemite. We have done that trip twice while we were there and it wasn’t tiring at all. Sharon was attentive to our needs whenever we needed her help and we only have good things to say about the kind attention. We would definitely come back at a later time. Highly recommend to all who want to have quality time with the dear friends and family.

Dream view family vacation

This property was perfect for my family of 5. It had everything we needed and was exactly as described. Sharon and Jeff were very hospitable and when they discovered my daughter left her Apple Watch (even after multiple reminders to make sure we had everything) they offered to ship it to us. We hope to return in the future.

Spacious deck with amazing views

My mom, a friend, and I visited Yosemite and stayed in this lovely house. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The house was spotless, spacious, and had everything we needed. The owners were responsive and helpful. And the deck in the back was amazing. The views from the deck were incredible. We had coffee out there every morning and watched the sunrise. We’d recommend this house to anyone interested in visiting Yosemite. It’s about an hour from both the Arch Rock Entrance and South Entrance. And it’s 10-15 min from the restaurants and grocery store in Mariposa.

5 stars all the way around. Property owners were easy to get ahold. Quick responses. House was nice and big! Master bed was super comfy. Better than any hotel bed. Would stay here again!

Secluded and comfortable, great amenities.

This property is in a quite location, just a few hundred yard off of the main highway, very easy to find and get to. Many properties lack proper kitchen utensils, but we found this property met all the expectations. Good knife set, proper bowls, and pots and pans. The beds were very comfortable. There were plenty of pillows and blankets available. The bathrooms had plenty of towels as well as complementary soap and shampoo. We really enjoyed morning and evenings on the outdoor deck and gazebo watching the squirrels, chipmunks, rabbits who came to visit and entertain. The property is well kept and maintained. I can definitely recommend this property.

Wonderful house on the Hill

We had a great experience staying at the house on the hill. Due to the Northern California fires our plans to visit Lassen National Park were scrapped and we needed to make alternate plans. Working with Sharon was very easy and we were able to extend our existing reservation with no hassle; so we stayed here for a week. The location is great; Maraposa has some cute shops, restaurants, and we used as our headquarters to visit both Yosemite and Sequoia NP. The house was very comfortable for 4 adults and we really enjoyed the large deck which we used daily. The location was very private while not feeling isolated. There is a cute little "Sportsman Cafe" located very close to the house just south on route 49 (so you don't have to drive into Maraposa for breakfast if you don't feel like cooking). We did cook a lot at the house and the one time we ran out of gas for the grill, a quick call to Sharon and we had a replacement within minutes! I would recommend this place to everyone.

Clean, quiet, comfortable and relaxing

We knew we weren’t going to want to leave when we first got there. The house was so inviting and immaculately clean. We enjoyed eating out and star gazing on the back deck, playing games in the back yard and watching the rabbits, chipmunks, squirrels and birds around the yard. The house was very comfortable. I would highly recommend staying at “Bootjack”.

Spotless Getaway

Spotless, spacious and perfect for our travel needs! If you’re able book Sugar Pine Railroad. We did the dinner plan and it was so much fun! The nearby towns are charming and have great food. The Oakhurst Visitor center gets 10 stars! Go in and they will give you amazing information!

Most guests are traveling to this area to visit Yosemite National Park, which is an amazing and awesome place to explore. I am happy to welcome you to Mariposa Dream View Mountain House!

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

Dream View is in a beautiful location, both private and peaceful. It sets on 5.5 acres of woodlands primarily with Oaks. There are rabbits, squirrels, deer, hummingbirds, hawks and other birds among the wildlife that ranges here. We are in the center to 2 of Yosemite Park Entrances--36 miles in either direction. We are 7 miles south of Mariposa, 19 miles north of Oakhurst- so it is in a great location to visit Yosemite through either the Arch Rock Entrance or the South Gate Entrance to the park.

Mariposa Dream View Mountain House is decorated with a mountain-cabin theme in mind to compliment your Yosemite experience. We have beautiful and comfortable log beds, mountain and wildlife pictures in each room. The kitchen is loaded with all the amenities needed for a great meal which is open to the living room area which has a smart TV for your streaming services as well as books and board games for additional entertainment. Wifi is at the location and has provided great service. There is a big outdoor deck and gazebo which offers amazing views of the surrounding area-both private and peaceful with a backyard propane barbeque and plenty of room for sharing a meal or possibly star-gazing.
Mariposa Dream View Mountain House is a great "base camp" for a Yosemite vacation and I welcome your visit!
