Cette confortable maison de montagne de 3 chambres à coucher et 2 salles de bain est nichée dans une zone boisée et paisible et offre une terrasse enveloppante avec un foyer au gaz et des sièges à l'étage supérieur ainsi qu'un bain à remous privé sur le pont inférieur. Il y a un lit King dans le maître et un lit Queen dans chacune des deux autres chambres. Les teintes chaudes et le mobilier agréable confèrent à ce bijou une atmosphère charmante. Équipé d'un poêle à bois et d'une télévision à écran plat, le salon offre un canapé-lit complet. Cette maison pourra accueillir 8 personnes. Fourni sont une cuisine entièrement équipée, laveuse et sécheuse et WiFi privé. Non-fumeur. Absolument pas d'animaux de décembre à mars. Pet-friendly peut être disponible en saison. S'il vous plaît reconnaître qu'il y a des frais de 100 $ pour animaux de compagnie (par animal).

We paid in full in April and I called months before Christmas to ask if the was going to decorate for Christmas and have a Christmas tree up. Kitchen is very fully stocked with pots and pans. Beds were very comfortable. Driveway is very steep but doable once we learned to navigate it. We used both the shuttle and our own vehicle to go to and from the slopes. Shuttle is great, but you need to wear regular shoes and carry your ski boots to navigate the driveway to walk to/from the stop. Only issue was that when the heat kicks on, it is pretty dusty. Maybe ducts could use a cleaning?

Great stay.

The house is perfect for a family. The living space is huge w plenty seating for everyone and it’s very comfortable. Huge tv w all the apps. The hot tub was great and the huge deer in the morning right out the window was an added bonus. Highly recommend.

Xmas ski trip

Had a lovely Christmas at the property. Beds we comfy and the huge sofa in the living room accommodated the whole family. Kitchen has all the equipment you need to cook a Christmas dinner. Very close to Sugar Mountain ski resort (a few mins drive). The hot tub was perfect to relax in at the end of a day’s skiing. We will be back.

Excellent Location

Great location to slopes. However, no trash receptacles to put trash in outside. There were bags of trash left from the previous guests in the bathroom and bedroom with nasty stinky diapers, which we had to take their trash and ours, drive to the nearest community dumpster and unload it, and of course the gate is locked on Sundays.

We are not sure how trash was missed. This unit was cleaned and inspected before your arrival. We do apologize for this. There are directions for trash disposal in the guest booklet and our staff picks trash up in units without trash receptacles. Guests may always call our office for trash pick-up. We do apologize for this and will work to make sure this does not happen to others.

Nice stay on sugar mountain

We are repeat guests at this house. House is comfortable and the kitchen is completely stocked with dishes, cookware and utensils. It’s convenient to tennis and golf, and short drive to banner elk. We will be back next year!

Nice steep mountain

We had to cut our vacation short for unfortunately reasons but the rental was nice. It was very clean for a house that allows dogs. It didn’t smell. We enjoyed the one night we did stay. It was warm and cozy.

Comfortable and Spacious.

We enjoyed our stay at the Sugar Shack. Previous renters had messed with the smoke alarms but the rental company fixed it the next day. It was a quick drive to Sugar mountain parking. We mostly stayed upstairs which was peaceful and offered good views of the area. We also spent a lot of time in the hot tub and the patio. We did struggle to figure out where to put trash and we tried to drive it to the address listed but they were closed on our check out day, which was a Sunday. All together we had a great trip and would stay again.

In the contract it covers your check in/out information, what we do and do not provide to guests and what you, the renter, and us, the company are and are not liable for. Property Title is Misleading

The property title says the property is “pet friendly”, however this is a straight lie as the property does not allow for pets. Brought a pet assuming the listing was correct and they charged my credit card without notice, asking, or consent after we had checked out for bringing a pet. No pet fee was included on the upfront bill. Property was similar to the pictures but would stay away from this rental company.

Sugar Ski Hideout February Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is my friends and I's second stay with RRR and it was great again! We LOVED this rental space (perfect for the 5 of us)! It was clean when we arrived, super spacious yet not too big, and the kitchen/dining area was the perfect size. The only downside was that we could not use the hot tub due to the hose being too short/the spout being far away but the rental stands on its own without it. The porch was great and if it hadn't rained we would have gotten a lot of use out of it. The driveway was perfect for two cars (a C-RV and a Sedan) and the drive up was smooth and easy. The drive down to sugar mountain was quick as well (less than 5 minutes).

Need to be cleaned up but great location and is fully equipped.

The unit had a great location but needs some cleaning. The exterior deck had a lot of debris like twigs and the furniture was not clean enough to sit on. The interior had a lot of dead bugs by the windows and doors, a not-so-fresh odor, and had a lot of dust around the baseboards. There was nowhere to put the trash. It is in need of a bear box outside the unit for trash. The unit did have everything you need for a stay though. Fully equipped. The drive is extremely steep. I recommend a high-profile vehicle in the summer months at the very least. My 4wd Highlander was losing traction during wet conditions.

Don’t pick for the whirlpool anyway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The reason we chose this place? The whirlpool. Guess what? ItDidn’t work. The second day they sent maintenance out to say “yep, it’s not working” though they said at checkin it had been serviced the day of our arrival. Only solution? Have a whirlpool service person come out. That did not happen. So they refunded the nominal (compared to cost) whirlpool fee. Although the people at the rental co were polite, more could have been done for this major disappointment. Other quibbles? It is up a steep hill and we had to shovel to get upIt on arrival. Not enough blankets. They say there is a shuttle to resort but the stop is a long walk in ski boots.

As stated before, the hot tub has frozen and was leaking. When it was filled and serviced earlier in the day, they did not notice the leak since it was just being filled. Many of the driveways for houses on Sugar Mountain are steep due to the mountain terrain. During the time you were staying, we had previously had snowfall amounts over a foot on several days. Sugar Mountain received over 40 inches of snow in January this year. We had people plowing driveways and trying to keep them clean, but the amount of precipitation made it a day challenge with over 100 properties. Again, we apologize for all of the inconveniences and we did refund the hot tub fee that was charged to your reservation.

Beautiful Nature Lovers retreat

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I have been vacationing at Sugar Mountain for many years and have stayed at several different cabins. This was our first time at this Timber Ridge address but it will not be our last. It is very comfortable with all the amenities you have at home. 2 bedrooms are on the first floor sharing a full bathroom and the kitchen, living and master bedroom is on the second floor with a wrap around balcony. A huge extremely comfortable leather couch perfect for taking afternoon naps and all the cable and WiFi you need. The driveway is pretty steep so I recommend an all wheel drive/ 4x4 vehicle for stays during the snowy months. The driway was a little icy when we stayed but with a simple phone call they sent someone to plow and spread salt to resolve the issue. Super dark at night, there was a few flood lights that were out but it didn't really affect us and I'm sure if I had reported it they would have taken care of it right away. If I had to say one thing I didn't like about the place was the tiny master shower. I'm 6'1" 250lbs and it was very "cozy" to say the least but again, not really anything we couldn't deal with. P.S. During the winter months, DO NOT shower one right after another, limit showers to 10 minutes and do NOT run the washing machine or dishwasher until everyone has showered! Just like with any house the hot water heater can only do so much and the cold water up here is cold, not like the cold water in Miami.
