An excellent location for our family to gather. It was central to all the locations where we were fishing . Very quiet and easy to find. Although it is outside of Soldotna, it was still close enough to run to town when necessary, Having a large kitchen made it easy to prepare meals for our group. The beds were comfortable and the blackout blinds really helped us all in getting a good night's sleep.

Nice place

Very nice home with loads of space and very private. Owner provided great instructions and their renters handbook is outstanding. A few minor issue kept it from being 5 stars but this is a nice place to stay . We had plans in Homer and Seward so soldatna was perfect for us

Soldotna Stay

This would have been a five star rating if not for a significant safety concern. When we arrived all the doors in the house were shut and unlocked. My sister in law opened the door to the garage from inside the house (unaware that it was the garage) and right in front of her was a shotgun with ammo. We were traveling with children and it makes me nauseous to think about what could have happened if one of them had opened that door. This could have been easily prevented with a locked door and a sign that said this is a private area, no entry. Please in the future lock up your guns and warn people that they are present. We immediately locked the door but I can’t help but mention this for the safety of future guests. Otherwise our stay was great. The house is beautiful and well stocked. The property is gorgeous. If the gun issue is resolved I would absolutely recommend to others.

Place to crash while fishing

We had a lovely time with our kids after long days fishing. The only problem was the air system was very loud and we had hoped for the mysterious silence of deep woods.

Guys Fishing Trip

The house was perfect for the 8 of us, especially the kitchen. The location is excellent, close enough to town for groceries and fish processing yet the house is secluded in the Forrest.

Great Location! Clean/large private home. #Perfect

We had a group of 11 (4 families). This was a perfect location for our fishing adventures. Enjoyed having a private property where we could grill and enjoy the outdoors. Very roomy home and a great living room for our gatherings. Highly recommend...except for the weeks we want it:)

Great Family Location, secluded but close to fishing and town!

Nice Secluded location great for large groups, good for kids and adults alike , responsive host, large kitchen. About 10 min to Kenai River and town. We really enjoyed the Caribou and other wildlife that wandered through!

Great location, Perfect for larger groups

This property is in a great central spot for exploring most of the Kenai Pennisula. Two open living areas (upstairs and downstairs) make visiting with a large group perfect, and the stockpile of fun board games will help pass that rainy day or restful evening after a day of exploring.

Alaska Family Vacation

Our family had a great experience at this property. It was very private and was siturated perfectly between Homer and Seward, the two locations in the Kenai Peninsula my family wanted to visit. The house was beautiful and had great accommodations for a very large family. I would definitely return.

It’s a new house and boy is it big! Beautiful surroundings and great location. Most places have an info book with all the house info, rules, checkout procedure etc. That would have been very helpful to have. Thanks for the great stay!

Missing window sills and some finishing touches, but was comfortable and spacious. Very clean. Would not hesitate to stay again. Quiet and relaxing.

Reunion get together

Everything was spacious and clean upon entering the home. The owner was very responsive to all questions and clarified into detail some of my other questions. I would reccommend this place to anyone!
