Le quartier:
Le Waikiki Grand Hotel est situé juste en face de la petite jetée, de l'océan et du zoo. Cette fin de Waikiki a la plus grande et la meilleure plage de la bande.

Kapiolani Park et Waikiki Aquarium sont à quelques minutes à pied, 5 minutes ou moins.
Se déplacer:
• Informations de stationnement. Il n'y a pas de parking inclus avec cet appartement. Le parking de l'immeuble co��te 17 $ par jour - appelez le Waikiki Grand Hotel.

• Vous pouvez vous garer gratuitement autour du parc Kapiolani, à environ 5 minutes à pied. Le parking se trouve du côté "Paki Street" du parc et le long de la rue Monsarrat Le parc Kapiolani propose un parking payant gratuit de 18h00 à 10h00 tous les jours et toute la journée le dimanche..

• De l'autre côté de la rue, vous pouvez vous garer au zoo pour seulement 1 $ de l'heure. Cela peut être l'option la moins chère puisque vous ne payez que pour ce dont vous avez besoin.

• Si vous choisissez de ne pas louer de voiture, plusieurs lignes de bus se trouvent à quelques pas. Uber ou Lyft également disponible. Je recommande de louer une voiture uniquement les jours où vous prévoyez d’aller sur la Côte-Nord. Tout le reste est accessible à pied ou facilement accessible en bus, qui est l'un des meilleurs systèmes aux États-Unis.

This location is absolutely beautiful and walking distance to many activities. Also near bus stop to get to all parts of the island or paid parking areas if have a car. I enjoyed my stay immensely, waking up to the view of the beach and Diamond Head was amazing! Thank you!

I can get past the Home Depot bucket in the corner by the AC unit. What I can’t get past is you stocked a room for my 30 day stay as if I were staying for 5. The countless emails to get an extra set of sheets and a few more towels spanning 5 days and 2 different deliveries could have been avoided if you put a little thought into your rentals. Once that was straightened out, how can you go wrong visiting such a beautiful place and best location! In the end, it’s all good. Mahalo.

The best thing about this studio apt is the location. It’s only a block from the beach, and has a lovely view of Diamondhead and the coast to the east. The views are great, especially from the tenth floor deck. There are lots of stores and restaurants nearby. There’s parking at the zoo across the street. This is a tiny apartment, best for one person. The bed is comfortable, there have been some recent fix-ups, and pretty much everything works. The hotel staff is helpful. While other hotel guests get their room cleaned every day, you have to pay 100 for one cleaning. The downsides: it’s incredibly noisy. This a very densely touristy area so you can hear drunks shouting all night long, motorcycles revving, and loud music (sometimes two different venues at once). The bus line runs right under your window, there are early trash pickups, and the birds nesting outside on the ledge will wake you up at 5:45. The other downside: the management is poor. They never answer their phone, even when VRBO tried to talk to them. There were two problems while I was there, and my complaints were met with “I’ll have my team look into it” and then nothing happened. I really had to pester them to get the WiFi fixed. I was there for work and really needed the WiFi! Then there were those birds. They screech all the time and peck loudly on the wood or AC. Nesting materials, feathers and bird poo fell in under the AC unit. But “I’ll have my team look into it.”

The room was exactly like the pictures and the customer service communication with the property manager was exceptional. We did have a few hiccups during our stay but overall it’s a beautiful view from the room and perfect location.

Beautiful views, best beach!

We loved being on the edge of Waikiki, with the views of ocean, zoo, and Dimond Head. The protected calm beach next to the pier was perfect for us, and the beach chairs saved us each the cost of renting for $10 per hour! We also enjoyed the 10th floor patio and meeting some of the year round residents.

The South location made it easier to get out of Waikiki which I know can be a headache. It was overall an incredible experience and the room was very comfortable at night and during the day. It was helpful to see the vacuum against the wall as you can imagine a lot of sand gets into the room. I think I would stay here again.

The host and hotel communicated extremely well—from the time I booked, to arrival, and even when we had a few questions after check-in. Both were great to work with.The unit was in a fantastic location just a few steps from the beach. The room layout worked well, and we were able to prep most of our meals in the room before heading out for the day. The large refrigerator, stovetop, and microwave were perfect for that.My only complaint—also noted in other reviews—is the air conditioner. It cooled the room effectively, but it leaked constantly. One day it soaked our bags and clothes that were near the window, which was very disappointing. Water ran across the floor and pooled near the sitting ledge. This really needs to be addressed.I would recommend this unit if the air-conditioning issue is fixed.

Location!

The best location of Waikiki. This unit has no double pane windows so you hear street noise and the bar tel 1:30 am. A real nightmare. Motorcycles are all the time… unit was adequate.

Basic no-frills studio

A great location near the beach and basic nearby services. Everything worked fine, tv requires streaming accounts so couldn't even watch local news. Our main complaint was there is no table or chairs to eat -- however, it wasn't advertised as having so our bad for not noticing. Even tv trays would have been helpful. Host was prompt with any messaging.

Everything was great except the noise from the bar downstairs. The room, communications and check in process all great. Location is awesome. No issues whatsoever. Solid Option for Waikiki Beach

Overall our stay was good. The feel of the room and building is more casual, sort of a beach feel, which I suppose is appropriate for the setting. I had the impression from the listing that it was going to be a more upscale property. The location is not 15 steps as indicated in the listing, instead a long block away but still convenient to Waikiki Beach. Free parking is easily available on the street. Anyone considering a stay should understand that Waikiki Beach is a busy, noisy place, which can disrupt sleep, so just be aware of that when booking. There appear to be less expensive options with a city view, which could be a better value. Having a partial ocean view without a balcony is not really worth a premium when spending time mostly out and about.
