This was an amazing house looking over La Ropa. The host responded to all questions quickly and gave wonderful suggestions. There were wonderful staff who cooked us delicious meals and kept the house clean. They were lovely and totally enhanced our stay. The property was exquisite. We felt so lucky to be able to enjoy this home for the week.

Incredible vacation

Our stay was wonderful from start to finish. Cristina was so great at communicating and the house exceeded all our expectations. The staff was accommodating and attentive, the food delicious, and the weather was perfect. We would love to visit again!

Spectacular in every aspect

I've stayed in over 50+ villas in my VRBO travels and Christina's villa on Playa La Ropa is hands down the best we have experienced. She is a wonderful host. The best and most knowledgeable. Far above others. This house is her "baby". She used to live there so she has incredible pride. She also knows everyone in Zihua which makes taxis and dinner reservations super easy. The house is perched right above the clearest and calmest end of the beach. The kids played in the ocean every morning as did we. The steps down the beach are simple and fun to navigate. Lastly, the food...the staff makes two meals a day of the most authentic Mexican dishes you can imagine. They spend the rest of the day cleaning and doing laundry and you hardly notice them. We are planning our return!

Authentic Elegance and Sophistication at the Beach

I'm not sure where to start. We had the most unbelievable stay at Casa Arrebato. Our host, Cristina and her wonderful staff were beyond amazing. My wife, 2 year old daughter and 7 year old son arrived to the Ixtapa Airport to find a reserved van and driver waiting to deliver us to the casa. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the staff and our bags were brought into the home and set in our rooms. Fresh squeezed margaritas were delivered on a tray for me and my wife and fresh juices for the kids. We enjoyed a tour and then relaxed poolside while our chef prepared a delicious lunch. We were immediately taken with the authenticity and sophistication of the home. It had an air of understated elegance that would have impressed even the most critical interior designers. There was not a detail left untouched and we marveled at the custom hard wood furnishings and the quality of the home in general. Our week long stay was perfect. We had access down a private outdoor stairwell to the beach and the views from the open air living room and veranda were unbeatable. The bedrooms were well appointed and air conditioned. The infinity pool we enjoyed almost constantly. Having a staff to clean the home daily and prepare either breakfast and lunch or lunch and dinner was such a blessing. Perfection all around. As I only have a 1500 character max, I'll leave you with this: You will simply not find a more extraordinary home in a more extraordinary location than at Casa Arrebato.

Simply Spectacular

Our stay at villa was 10 days of perfection. We had not been to Zihuatanejo previously, so we were unsure if we should book a villa rather than a hotel. We are so very thankful we made the decision to stay here. With a staff of housekeeper, cook and personal concierge, we were better taken care of than even the nicest hotel could offer. The villa is very private, safe and meticulously maintained. The house is large, with expansive ocean views from all rooms. We loved the open air concept. All the bedrooms are ensuite, and have air conditioning to keep you comfortable at night. The villa is perfectly located at the north end of Playa La Ropa. There is a private gated stair from the house to the beach (approx. 65 steps), which is easily accessible for routine beach walks, swims and of course the many beach restaurants on PLR. To get to Zihua town, it is a 15 minute walk, or short taxi ride. They are very easy to flag in front of the villa, as it is on the main road between Zihua town and PLR. But we were most content lounging at the villa on most days. The endless ocean vistas never got old. There is a stunning infinity edge pool, comfortable lounge chairs, a couch and a very large outdoor patio space. We could watch the activity on the beach, the parasailers, and the boats, all from the comfort of our private pool and patio. And, as a bonus, the sunsets are spectacular. Our cook, Maribeli, made some of our best meals while in Zihua. She cooks breakfast and lunch each day. Her food is delicious, fresh and locally sourced. Her ceviche dishes and her coconut prawns should be on a restaurant menu, it is that good. The housekeeper, Itzel, kept everything spotlessly clean. Our concierge, Sergio, was easily reached and very helpful. He speaks English fluently. He arranged airport transfers, a trip to the grocery store and a boat tour for us. We will be back! A huge thank you to Maribeli, Itzel and Sergio for executing service deserving of a 5* hotel.

Perfect Mexico Getaway Home

The property is even better than the pictures show. It was extremely clean and well maintained. The staff was great and took very good care of us. The owner is very attentive and quick to respond with any need and they gave us great recommendations on food and entertainment. We always felt safe. I highly recommend this home.

Relaxing getaway Playa La Ropa

Thank you for letting us stay at Arrebato. It has been wonderful here. The views were stunning and the location is close to everything. Both Itzel and Manuel went out of their way to make it special for us. You are very lucky to have them. The place was clean and having Itzel prepare breakfast and lunch for us was a real treat.
