Cozy Krimmel Kottage sur la magnifique baie de Mobile est à 45 minutes de Mobile, en Alabama et une heure de Pensacola, en Floride. Il se trouve confortablement sur une plage de sable de la baie de Mobile qui se jette dans le golfe du Mexique. Le Cottage est proche de Oldtown Fairhope, qui a une excellente salle à manger, des boutiques et magasins d'antiquités. Il faut environ 40 minutes pour rejoindre les stations balnéaires de Gulf Shores et Orange Beach dans le golfe du Mexique.

Le chalet calme et serein est à 4 miles de la célèbre et historique Grand Hôtel avec un bon repas, des courts de tennis et un terrain de golf magnifique. Un parc avec des tables de pique-nique et des installations de lancement bateau sont un mile sur la route. Le porche de couchage vitrée offre une vue panoramique sur la baie mousseux et le coucher du soleil du soir.

Fairhope a événements annuels saisonniers, tels que Polo au Point, le festif et formelle Noir et Blanc ballon tenu au Grand Hôtel, défilés de Mardi Gras, et les Arts de printemps et le Festival de l'Artisanat.

Mobile, Alabama est à 45 minutes de Krimmel Kottage et est le berceau de Mardi Gras. Défilés de Mardi gaz en 2011 sont en Février. Mobile a 300 ans d'histoire avec un cuirassé, maisons antibellum et de beaux jardins à visiter. Comtés mobiles et Baldwin ont beaucoup de parcs d'État. Five Rivers State Park est le deuxième plus grand delta du pays. Il tire son nom des cinq rivières qui se jettent dans la baie de Mobile. Il y a beaucoup d'activités en plein air à apprécier là-bas.

A quiet, peaceful, restful cottage on Mobile Bay. A place to 'chill'. Yes, Fairhope is right down the road with restaurants and shopping, but the vibe here is mellow. Take a seat on the deck, steps away from the Bay, and you'll be mesmerized, not sure you want to go anywhere. Herons, pelicans, martins, laughing gulls, all under arching, graceful pines and live oaks. A truly restorative experience.

This was a very nice location beautiful cottage that set nice w the location could have used some yard work and bigger shower but perfect for a family vacation my kids loved it

Excellent Cottage

This is an excellent property located on the waterfront and close to Fairhope. We were attending a wedding in the town and the cottage has everything one would need. Definitely would recommend.

My trip to do nothing but rest

Being a historical renovation contractor i enjoy my few days here. Property was built in 1952. It has its own character. Enjoyed sitting on deck watching out over the bay. Sunset was outstanding. Nice place to relax. Close to all restaurants and only 25 minutes to Gulf Shores.

Labor Day Weekend

Great Communication with rental owner, great community, visiting Alabama led to a very relaxing weekend, water gets hot quick 👍🏼whether it’s golf, shopping, eating, walking, boating, we highly recommend this location, y’all enjoy Fairhope, I know we did!

Wonderful Property and Manager!

Manager is very personable and property is exactly as shown in the listing. Yard could have been better maintained. We have family we come and visit every year and we would definitely stay here again.

It was nice but more like a camp than a cottage. The bed could have been more comfortable. There’s no space in the bathroom and the shower is extremely small. But it was spotless and the view is outstanding. I wouldn’t want to stay more than 3 nights though.

Great location, good communication and easy checkin /out. Older charming cottage very quiet and relaxing for our 2 night stay. Mosquitos were out in the evening's so good idea to have some spray. No hot tub/spa so listing amenities may need to be updated.

Krimmel Kottage is jointly owned by family members, and until last year included our 99-year-old mother who still enjoyed her visits there. You will notice that there is a long farmer's family table on the side porch where 14 people sat to eat breakfast and the evening meal. Lunch was on the run because everyone was scattered either fishing, swimming, or visiting neighbors. We had the opportunity to see many Jubilees while enjoying our summers there. A Jubilee is a phenomenon that occurs only in Mobile Bay and one place in China. Fish come to the shallow water at the shore and on the surface and can be scooped up in nets.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

Krimmel Kottage was built in 1952 by my Aunt Gertrude Krimmel and has remained in the family over the years. We spent our childhood swimming and skiing in Mobile Bay and building sandcastles on the beach.
A large wrap-around screen porch was added some years later to enjoy the bay breezes as the house was not air-conditioned. In 2004 we installed windows on the screened porch and purchased the first central heating and cooling system. The cottage is completely remodeled, and we put a deck on the front to continue to enjoy the cool breezes and the beautiful sunsets.

Krimmel Kottage is near the old downtown Fairhope with shopping on Main street, the ice cream parlor, antiques, art galleries, and beautiful flowers. There is a wonderful concrete bike trail that will take you into downtown Fairhope.
It is convenient to Gulf Shores on the Gulf Coast and one hour from 300-year old Mobile, the original home of Mardi Gras in the US.
The breeze from offshore and the sunsets are very relaxing on the deck overlooking Mobile Bay. Listening to the waves rolling ashore gives you a calming and relaxing​ effect.
