Oceanside Vacation Townhome - Sleeps 11

I certainly wish you would have reached out to me when you could not use the dishwasher. I could have sent someone to check it out, or show you how it works. I could have checked it out myself, when I had to drive down and have the master bedroom carpet deep cleaned, after that the cleaning crew sent me a photo of the stains that were present after your departure. I do not have a microwave listed in my listing, as I do not believe in using a microwave. I pay to much money for my food to microwave the nutrients out my food. Also, my Father had a pacemaker, and he could not be present in a room with a microwave that was in use. So happy you enjoyed our pretty prefect location and enjoyed our many amazing restaurants in the area :0)

I am glad you enjoyed our complex & that the weather was pretty perfect for your entire stay :0) You are the first person to mention, the trundle bed is "noisy" ????? Sorry you missed a microwave. It is not listed in my listing as having one, as I do not believe in using them. I feel they are not a safe useful appliance and it depletes the nutrients of the food when used, plus my Father had a pacemaker and could not be in a room with one in use. Grills are no longer allowed on our balconies because of insurance. I feel lucky that the the grill by the chickee, is steps from our unit, plus we have several grills that are at the beach area, for everyones use. I will contact the cleaning company with your cleaning concerns. I am surprised by your comments, as our son an his wife went to our home for New Years this year and called and told me, what a good job the cleaning company does !!! I will contact the HOA about the pool chairs. They belong to the community, not me individually. I do not have written instructions for the stove top, as I thought that it was pretty self explanatory. I will add to my notes, that you push which burner you want, and then what temperature you want. I supply many beach towels as courtesy, I simply ask you wash and dry them & put them back in the appropriate containers. A video camera is located on the back patio. I went back and checked my listing, to confirm it is disclosed, and it clearly is. It is also posted on the patio back slider, as well. I take great pride in providing a wonderful place for Folks to gather together and enjoy the BEAUTIFUL Keys, I will address your concerns. All the best !!!

I am glad at least the check in process was fine !! I have been renting for 22 years and this is the first group, that was dissatisfied. My list of do and don'ts, have come from the many years of folks not treating our home with respect. I though using sun screen outside was common sense, but unfortunately a group thought spraying sunscreen inside our home, was ok. I did respond to your texts, you asked me where the food storage bags, aluminum foil, etc location, and I texted you right back, as to the location. I looked back on our text stream, and that was the only text I received until after you checked out. I try and keep our home stocked for our guests. Having plenty of beach towels for everyone is one thing I have for our guests, I simply ask, that they wash and put them back. I was nice, if you washed the bath towels as well, but it is the beach towels, I asked to be washed and put back. I have sent your concerns to the cleaning company. This is the first complaint, I have had to forward to them. Most folks thank me for opening up our home to them, and some even leave me a gift !! I am glad you like the location. We do also. Beds have been replaced and I have even had past guests reach out to me, asking for the brand of the pull out sofa mattresses, as they wanted to purchase them, because they are so comfortable. TV was replaced. I cannot fix a problem, if i do not know about it. All taken care of now.

The beds are clearly listed on the site, and photos of each space, as well. King and queen beds, sleep 2 people. Yes, we are very lucky to have a lagoon, but we also have a small beach that is on the Atlantic Ocean, with a jetty that is perfect to watch the sunset, surprised you did not see it, as it is only a minute a half walk from our townhouse. The pool is average size, but we have 2 !! We have 50 foot diameter Chickee Hut, with ceiling fans and chairs, that is adjacent to the pool, lagoon & steps from our unit, that provides plenty of shade. As for the drainage, the home has not been used for 3 months and when we went down prep for your arrival, we noticed it and thought we had resolved the issue, as it was draining after we used a drain product in it. As for the water pressure, it is the Keys, we are on city water and have no control over the pressure. Yes, the A/C did stop working, but you did not inform us when it happened & the we could have possibly handled it, as the owner of the A/C company who installed it, owns a unit 2 doors from our unit, and if he was in the Keys, he could have looked at it. We consider not being adjacent to the trash dumpster a bonus, !!! Parking can be difficult, that is why the limit of 2 cars is in place, unfortunately some cars from other buildings, use the parking closest to our unit. I am sorry that you did enjoy your stay. I did offer/prefer for you to vacate and I would refund your $ for the unused nights, as I only want families to enjoy our little piece of the Keys. In 20 years of renting/sharing our home, you are the first to have not enjoyed it.
