Mise à jour, maison calme devant le lac dans une communauté remplie de commodités. Profitez de la baignade, du tennis, du basketball, de la pêche au sel et en eau douce, du volleyball de plage, du jeu de palets, des terrains de jeux et du vélo sans jamais quitter les lacs Mallard. Et vous n'êtes qu'à quelques minutes de l'attrait des plages, de la promenade, des magasins et des restaurants de DE et MD. Détendez-vous sur la véranda avec votre café du matin tout en profitant de la vue sur le lac, puis dirigez-vous seulement 2. 5 miles jusqu'à la route de la plage. Quand vous revenez à la maison, vous pouvez laver le sable dans la douche extérieure spacieuse, faire une promenade ou une partie de tennis avant le dîner, et passer la soirée à regarder des films en famille sur le téléviseur HD. Mallard Lakes est un endroit idéal pour se détendre dans un endroit calme, ou si vous le souhaitez, toutes les activités d'un centre de villégiature océanique sont là pour profiter, aussi!

Home away from home.

Mom's Place has become our favorite place to stay in Fenwick Island. It is so comfortable and familiar to our family. The home is fully stocked, located near the beaches, restaurants, shopping, etc. We enjoy MP and highly recommend to anyone! Thanks again for a great stay!

Wonderful for families!

Our second time renting Mom’s Place and we’ll surely return! Had everything we could possibly need plus more. Boys loved the bunk beds and Mama loved reading on the patio watching the geese and other wildlife. Perfect distance from the beach, yet away from the hustle and bustle.

Charming place in great location

We are so happy we got to stay here at moms place ... the house is fully stocked and is in a great location. With all the info and checklists provided checking in and checking out was a breeze. We travel to delaware 5 or 6 times a year and I know we will try to reserve moms place again. Thank you so much for opening your house to us!

Peaceful and quiet in a great location

The property is in excellent condition and has everything you need the sunroom in the back which is screened in and does have sliding glass doors is a great place to relax and look out on the lake actually made it hard for us to leave to go to the beach. Spent our beach time at Fenwick Island State Park Which is a great beach has good parking and th Is only about 10 minutes from the house. We are already talking about coming back next year and hope it will be available.

Unit needs upgrades throughout the unit—definitely!!!

Filthy furniture, saw bugs in bathrooms and during a tornado watch there was no workable flashlight. Will not rent nor recommend.

We are sorry you found our property was not up to your cleaning standards as our furniture, carpets, floors, and bedding are regularly cleaned. As for bugs, we have an exterminator on contract and could have resolved that with a quick message. There is a flashlight in the first kitchen cupboard, and on the coat rack shelf near the door, and we keep an assortment of batteries in the drawer next to the sink. During the rough weather, we tried to reach out via phone, text, and VRBO messaging to see how you were doing and did not receive a response.

Perfect Getaway for Family

Our family was looking for a quiet and safe place to stay near the ocean for our first vacation since the start of the pandemic. And we found it in Mom's Place! The house was clean and comfortable for our family and had all the amenities that we needed. Our whole family enjoyed the selection of board games, too! The community was quiet and friendly and the kids loved the pool area. The Canadian Geese were fun to watch, too! Plus, we were within easy driving distance to many fun - and COVID-safe activities. We really appreciated all of the information that Ann, Paul and Betsy provided ahead of time and in the house. We had many great take out meals at the house thanks to their recommendations! This was the perfect, quiet getaway that our family needed and we hope to return in the near future! Thanks for making Mom's Place feel like home!

The properties are nice. We have family that lives there in Mallard Lakes and we were all there for a family wedding. This property was clean and was what we were looking for in terms of we were there not so much for vacation as for the wedding. The only thing was that the outside shower area was moldy and filled with mosquitoes.

Nice neighborhood but unit needs updating & improved cleanjng

It was a nice neighborhood and spacious unit - close to the beach - which we loved! But the unit desperately needs updating and better cleaning practices in place. The couches and a lot of the other furniture must be from the 90’s. Glass tables and trinkets everywhere which is a nightmare for a family with kids. We packed our own linens/sheets but the blankets on the beds do not appear to be professionally laundered between visitors and I’m just not ok with that - especially during a viral pandemic! Overall, we just don’t feel the unit was cleaned properly prior to our stay. There were hairs in the bathroom and throughout the unit on the floors. The sunroom felt dirty and outdated. The WiFi connection was poor even after plugging in the password. The bikes locked up out front were rusted and not usable. We made the best of our trip and would return to the neighborhood but not this unit. It needs a lot of work which I imagine would be pretty costly. If the owner can’t focus on updating the unit and replacing old furniture please hire a better housekeeper to get the unit in top notch shape.

Great family vacation

We had a blast. This is the perfect location with only being 5 minutes from the beach but away from the hustle and bustle and busy streets! The kids loved the pool and the home was nice and cozy. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful quiet community with lots to do. Shuffle board, swimming, fishing and bike riding were a few of the activities we enjoyed on the property. Short drive to beach and boardwalk.

The property location was nice.

The place inside the unit could be upgraded (the rugs, the couch). Better linens quilts for the beds and pillows. The outdoor shower very dirty could not use. The owner put in a claim that I stole the placemats . I take that as a personal afront. I would not recommend to family and friends.
