A short weekend away

The house was great - really convenient to the beach, the house has great accommodations. We had 6 people and we were comfortable there. We were able to bring food and keep it in the fridge. And the street was nice and quiet. It was probably a 5 minute walk to a nice, quiet beach. We had a great time!

Family Wedding

Great location close to beach, charming neighborhood

A nice small beach house. Clean and very close to beach— definitely not fancy but kitchen stocked and 3 comfortable bedrooms. One small drawback— just one bathroom which can be a drawback with four adults, but overall an excellent experience.

Great location

This property was in a perfect location for us. We flew in from KY for a beach wedding, not knowing anything about the area. This was perfect for us. There were originally 4 adults but another couple joined us the final night and there was plenty of room! 3 Bedrooms and a very short walk to the beach! We were able to walk to the wedding and reception as well as plenty of breakfast and lunch options we could walk to. The owner was very quick to respond to any and all questions we had.

An excellent beach vacation home

I found this rental when planning a somewhat last minute summer vacation. The family requests were a beach and seafood. This location met all of our needs and more. Communication with the host was simple and prompt. He answered all of our questions as well as gave suggestions for things to do and places to eat nearby. The home was just as described, a home in a beach community. The amenities were more than sufficient with a well stocked kitchen, AC, comfortable beds, front porch, outdoor shower, grill, convenient parking and very friendly neighbors. There were two beach options just a block away, many restaurants were within easy driving distance, plus within about 30 minutes of driving we were able to get to several “tourist” destinations that we enjoyed. I would definitely stay at this rental again if I was traveling in the area with my family.

Great Location, Cozy Place

Location is perfect for a quick weekend getaway for our filimy of 6 ages from 16 to 68. Close to Mystic Seaport Museum and the Aquarium, we also when to Hammonasset Beach Park, have a great time. One recommendation is to upgrade the upstairs TV and please provide towels.

Cute beach house, kind owner

This beach house was the perfect size for our group: a family with 2 kids, plus two couples. The family was upstairs in the suite area and the couples each had double beds downstairs. The kitchen had the equipment to bake + serve a quiche. A great spot for families who want to go to the beach and on pretty walks. A rare hurricane evacuation shortened our stay but Tom was very kind to adjust the reservation for us and checking in to make sure we were ok.

Great Location spacious.

Short walk to the beach, and ice cold AC. A quaint cottage that feels bigger on the inside. Kitchen was well stocked and place was nice and clean when we arrived. Not great for little kids but great location. I especially like the loft bedroom with extra seating area to get some space when needed. Not much freezer room (two mini-friges) so don't bring a bunch of ice cream like we did! Living room couch was a bit worn out and could be replaced.

Westbrook Beach House

We stayed 5 nights while visiting our family in Old Saybrook. We found the house clean, comfortable and nicely airconditioned. Though we did not cook while there, we noted the kitchen was well stocked. Take note that the bathroom is rather small and you will need to bring your own towels. We recommend you bring some cash to try the smoked meats from the food purveyor at the beach. Overall the property served our needs well.

Great space and the right place

We really enjoyed our time in Westbrook. This property was exactly what we wanted. Quiet neighborhood … 5 min walk max from the beach and easy to get to food and drink options. I really appreciated how attentive Tom was. He responded quickly and worked with us to make sure everything was handled timely. Would love to come back!
