The house was very clean and we were very happy with everything that was provided (i.e. towels, chairs, hand soap and even coffee, even though we brought our own). The beds were very comfortable and linens were in great shape.I would like to suggest adding some type of shades/blinds to the back windows as it is difficult to sit at the table in the afternoon with the sun directly in your eyes. I also would like to see these added for additional privacy, as the entire back of the house is open. The beach was very clean and we met several friendly neighbors who also had dogs that walked on the beach every morning.

We had not been in this area before despite being CT residents. We picked a great spot and home. The beach was pretty large by CT standards. The cove this house sits in is pretty idyllic with a long sand bar that’s exposed during low tides. It was very peaceful and quiet. Not a lot of folks around but it must be busier during peak season. The house was older but remodeled recently with new interior and appliances. Communication with host was excellent and everything in good working order. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to others.

Perfect Beach Getaway

We absolutely loved this house, perfect location to introduce our toddler grandson to the beach and sand between his toes. We will definitely stay here again!

Great place for a fall getaway on the coast

Great location and nice little cottage style house right on the beach. A lot of restaurant options for dine in or take out. Perfect for a long weekend family getaway.

Great location- the sandy beach in our backyard! Sunrise and sunset- what could be better!

Mgt co was very communicative, technology worked well- room for 6 adults, 2 kids& our dog- who romped on the beach with friendly neighbors and their dogs.We will definitely return !

The location is wonderful! We had a great week overall. There were just some little things that needed attention considering we were paying over 1000 per night. The ice maker was not working. I understand a part has been ordered. If we had known ahead of time we would have either brought ice or purchased some.We couldn’t leave the sliding glass door open because the screen door was not closing properly allowing bugs to come in, especially after dark.The bbq grill needs repair or replacing.The beach umbrellas need to be repaired or replaced.We really liked the beach chairs. The selection of games was also great for our family. And of course, the beach was fantastic! We lucked out with some pretty spectacular weather.

Beautiful stay

House was small but perfectly laid out to accompany a family trip, with four bedrooms and a beautiful kitchen / living area. Loved the games and thoughtful touches everywhere. Home was immaculate and beachfront location was awesome.

Great Beach Location!

This house has a nice size backyard, patio for eating/grilling, and a huge beach that was never crowded. The house was very clean, comfortable beds and bedding. Plenty of towels, beach chairs, beach toys for the kids.

Perfect Location

Impeccable property on the sand in beautiful Grove Beach. All the right touches, decorations, furniture and amenities. Easiest place to stay imaginable. Trust the description, photos and the pictures. Will certainly return!
