Loved morning on the screened porch with a cup of coffee! We were there to go to Clemson basketball and football games and both were night games and we missed out on enjoying the fire pit. But we had a couple of peaceful days reading on the dock and my husband swam around some! It was an easy drive to Seneca and Clemson both. The cabin is so lovely!! Clean and well stocked, we made breakfasts and lunch but ate dinners out. We will definitely hope it is available next year when we come again!!
Feeling blessed to be relaxing on the deck in the quiet morning!

The cabin is in a great location. Perfect boat dock set up, paddle boards, and an 3 person canoe. Great firepit with plenty of wood, awesome screened back porch. The inside is unique. The cabin is older so you can tell they’ve added on things to make it more convenient/amenities. My only complaint, which I contacted owner upon arrival and sent a few pictures, is the level of dust on the walls in the 2 downstairs bedrooms. The owner explained to me that the cleaning crew doesn’t address that, that’s part of the seasonal cleaning. I completely understand, however, with the rougher log wood walls, they collect dust more quickly and that’s something that needs to be addressed more often. I had to use the vacuum brush attachment to vacuum the walls/ceiling in the master in order to sleep in there. The owner apologized, and after I cleaned it, it was more tolerable but that shouldn’t have been the case. The cleanliness of the bathrooms, kitchen, and general area was good. Well appointed updated kitchen with all the little things you need. 5 single beds upstairs with a separated queen and single also upstairs. Children and adult board games. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed. Great safe area, with a private feel. Thank you for sharing your house.

Great weekend at the lake

Booked out lake rental with Mark a few months ago. Great communication. Arrived at the cabin, quaint retreat for the family everything well stocked and even had dock access for a boat rental. Thank you Mark for a great retreat with family that we hadn’t seen in a while.

Most excellent stay!

Lovely, cozy and comfortable property. The host did a great job of communicating and giving helpful details, not only about the property, but the surrounding area as well. I would definitely recommend this property for rental.

Highly recommend!

The canoe and paddle boards were fun to use. Property and the lake were private and quiet. It looked like the stone pathway and the surrounding mulch from the house to the lake were recently added; very nice. We definitely recommend this property!

Great long weekend

Our family and a few friends had a great long weekend. The home is fully stocked in the kitchen, beds are comfortable, back porch is very relaxing, smores at the fire pit one night, fishing off the dock, floating and relaxing in the water. We had a wonderful time and look forward to returning.

Perfect Grad Party!

We had a wonderful stay here! The cabin had everything we needed for a long weekend stay with our family. The location on the lake was amazing and we really enjoyed using the paddle boards and canoe. We could even bring our boat! The porch and the fire pit were put to good use as well! Mark was great at communicating everything while we there. Thanks Mark for great stay!

Quiet serenity!

We had an incredible stay at the Cabin at Cane Creek! Water was perfect & a beautiful emerald green which we enjoyed for hours on the provided paddleboards & canoes! Fished right off the dock with the provided rods. Mark & Nancy thought of everything in this house! Every utensil, bowl, appliance you could want. Comfortable beds and lush sheets & towels. We rented a boat at Keowee Marina and ate at the Trailhead Tavern (closest place & had great wings) and The lighthouse. Got a workout going up and down to the water! Missing the quiet mornings enjoying coffee on the enclosed porch rockers watching the squirrels! Thank you for opening up your adorable home! Hoping to come back and check out some hiking trails next time!

We enjoyed our week in the cabin. Plenty to do on the water. I recommend renting a boat, worth it on so many levels. Mark is a great host and gives you everything you need to have a relaxing stay!

Great family getaway

Great place to get away and just relax. From the little touches that the cabin was decorated in to fishing off the dock, roasting marshmallows at the fire pit and grilling off the back deck, it was a fun close to home getaway.

Cool cabin but not for the elderly

Beautiful location. Cool quirky log cabin especially upstairs with the varied ceilings and materials. We had 3 elderly grandparents and they could not enjoy going down to the lake due to the steep slope. It was hard to tell from the pictures of the back yard how steep the slope was. But overall a cool cabin.
