"Lake Life" Beautiful House On Smith Lake in Double Springs, 4BR, 2BA, Loft Area

Sorry to hear you were disappointed in your stay. Our listing does say there are restaurants and stores near by. There is one restaurant half mile and one 3 miles away. There are small towns 5 miles in each direction, with more restaurants. Our property is located off main highway for the area, as well. There is several lakefront properties on smith lake that are located 30-45 mins from a single store or restaurant. We apologize it was inconvenient for you, but for us and most that have stayed at our property find it very convenient. Now I would like to clear up the “water line” as well. This was not our water line at our property. This is was a city main line, meaning every property in several mile radius was without water. We have never had this happen before but was outside of our control especially since it was not on our property or even our road. The water main broke in the morning and was fixed by mid afternoon. If it would have not been fixed same day then we could have made other arrangements but it was only a few hours, and mainly in the middle of the day. All properties are going to have issues at some point, but this is something that could have happened in a hotel in a major city or any where else in the world on public water system. Again, sorry for your troubles and disappointment.
