Cabane romantique sur un lac de montagne. Nous sommes prĂšs de Chimney Rock, Asheville et The Biltmore House. Nous ne sommes qu'Ă  1/4 mile du site oĂč le film Dirty Dancing a Ă©tĂ© tournĂ©. Nous sommes Ă  seulement 18 miles du nouveau Tryon International Equestrian Resort. Notre confortable chalet en bois rond d'une chambre est conçu pour les couples et dispose d'un bain Ă  remous. Nous sommes situĂ©s dans la ville de Lake Lure et Ă  seulement un mile au sud du charmant village de montagne de Chimney Rock, NC. Sans frais supplĂ©mentaires, nous avons des canoĂ«s, des fers Ă  cheval, des Ă©tangs de pĂȘche privĂ©s et un quai sur le magnifique lac Lure. Le tout dans un paysage naturel avec une flore et une faune variĂ©es. De plus, Ă  seulement une courte distance, vous trouverez la plage et la marina de Lake Lure, l'auberge historique de Lake Lure, les restaurants, le parc d'État de Chimney Rock, les bateaux d'excursion du lac Lure, l'Ă©quitation, l'escalade, le rafting, les courts de tennis, le village de Chimney Rock et pĂȘche Ă  la mouche sur la riviĂšre Rocky Broad! The cabin was great, though it could use a new mattress. The kitchen had plenty of pots and pans, though it needed glasses and silverware.The beautiful town of Lake Lure is struggling to recover from the hurricane. We checked with the town, and they did say there was 35% in parts of the lake. This being said, about 100 feet from the cabin would have been the lake. There was no water in the lake, and this particular location had several large earth-moving vehicles that were operating from 7 am to 5 pm.I have great compassion for Lake Lure and was glad we went to understand what they were actually going through.Vrob and the owner should have let us know the condition of this part of the lake. The photo on your site is very misleading.The photo attached is what was in front of our cabin.

Great weekend stay

Loved the location of the property, close to the flowering bridge and amenities in Lake Lure. Enjoyed having access to canoes. Also loved that it was pet friendly. Only complaints were that the a/c was not running very cool and as other reviewers have mentioned, it could really benefit from a good deep cleaning e.g. dusting walls, decorations/pictures on walls, behind the washer/dryer (since you can see this from the bathroom sink); sweeping off cob webs on porch and also shower curtain is moldy. But overall we enjoyed our visit! It was peaceful, quiet and relaxing.

Absolutely amazing cabin

Secluded cabin on the lake but just mins from town! Relaxing screened in back porch with rocking chairs, hot tub and gas grill. The cabin was very clean, charming and had everything we needed for our weekend getaway! The use of the canoes was a plus!! Even have life jackets but we brought our own. The walk down to the lake was a bit steep so make sure you wear some shoes that will grip the rocks! There is free Wi-Fi but being in the wooded area and surrounded by mountains, it was sporadic at times, but we really didn’t mind it at all! We appreciated the warm throws on the back of the couch at night! The hot tub was amazing! We will definitely be coming back!

Pine Gables

This place is amazing. The views are breathtaking from every angle small pond within feet away . Hot tub and home made chess and checkers table on big screened porch with grill. We had so much fun here The flowering bridge was 3 mins away as well as shopping and many restaurants Would highly recommend staying here

Great cabin

Our stay was wonderful and it was in a very quiet location right on the lake. The cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway. The only complaint was that there were mouse droppings in the sink on our last morning and I messaged the property owner to make him aware and never got a response. Other than this the cabin was very clean and had everything we needed.

Fishing cabin @ Lake Lure

Had a great time staying here. The cabin was even better then we expected. Very clean and super pet friendly. Dont understand how anyone could say anything negative. The cabin sits right on the lake. The view is partially obstructed by the trees but it is a very natural setting and adds to the privacy. The canoes were a definite plus. We Will definitely stay here again!

Great but lacking

We enjoyed the stay in Fishing Cabin. It was great for two people . BUT we were with the understanding that the WiFi was working.... I depended on that amenity as I knew from experience cell phones are come and go. We had no wifi in the cabin... none ! I was relying on the wifi working for business reasons. The owner later emailed me that I should have called him... One I didn't know a contact number Two, if you advertise that you have wifi (or any amenity) you should make sure it works before your guest arrives. Obviously that didn't happen. We ended up driving to Ingles grocery store and sitting in their cafe to obtain wifi connection. Would have been a great trip otherwise. The cabin was clean, the location was great, quiet and peaceful. Just what we were looking for. The shower needs repair by a professional but was usable with concern.

The cabin was neat and clean. Short walk to the water, beautiful view, nice screened in porch. Nice grill, but one burner would not light and the other was weak. Altogether wonderful place to stay.

Honeymoon getaway

We stayed at the cabin for the second part of our honeymoon. We had a great time! The check-in process was so easy, the cabin was clean and the property was perfect. We would have loved to add an additional night but it was booked but we will be back for sure!

Ant Invasion

We loved what we saw online for our honeymoon and we were so excited about the stay. When we got there we noticed that the trees covered the beautiful view of the lake. Then it was a steep walk down to the lake. Also, we were NOT informed through VRBO that there was huge black ants all through the cabin. When we found out it was the day of the trip. Next the air conditioning did not throw out air we had to sleep without a quilt. The fireplace didnt even throw out heat during that cold snap.
