This property is like having your own private resort. On the Gulf of Mexico. Million-dollar waterfront views & sunsets. Next to Dolphin Research Center.
4BR + bonus room w/queen bed & futon. 6 TVs. Pool, Private Dock, Kayaks & Corn hole boards, and more.
Watch the Dolphins shows daily. Were located next to the World-Famous Dolphin Research Center.
House has wrap around deck plenty of seating inside/out. House has 2 sides.

Side1
Has kitchen, dining area, living room, king bedroom, queen bedroom, full bathroom, washer & dryer area.
Then you have a middle room between both side of house with information table, dining table & reading chair. Great water view.

Side 2
Has living room dining area facing water. King bedroom, queen bedroom, plus bonus room w/queen bed & futon no closet. Full Bathroom. House is like having a 5 bedroom.
This is a great family house or for larger groups to have plenty of privacy and room to enjoy.
Large private yard with plenty of room for all your parking needs. Walking distance to restaurant (SS wreck), Grassy Key Marina with Ice, bait, mini grocery store food wine & beer, Jet ski rentals and more fishing charters.
Please Note
The largest boat at dock guest said he had was 23. I can't promise anything. You are responsible for knowing the water.
Depth is only 1 1/2 feet at low tide. You will differently have to raise motor and come in slowly. I do not supply ropes or bumpers. We have a 18 ft mako we get in with raising motor. If you have any problems Grassy Key marina is a walk away, they have a boat ramp and slips for rent. Property has plenty of parking for trailers, boats, jet skis.

So much to do.

Dolphins next door, pool, and a private kept us entertained. Lots of gathering places in the house. Restaurant & bar next door along with kitchen space for cooking local seafood.

The description of the property is accurate. And as someone else mentioned in their review, you never have to leave the property. There is everything you can think of here to use and many kids toys. As far as owner communication goes, I would give them 6 starts if possible. They are extremely helpful and responsive for any question you would have.

Great house for kids

This house was amazing. We could have had a rich, full vacation without ever leaving the property. There are indoor and outdoor toys, kayaks, paddle boards, books, bikes, iguana sightings, games, and a perfectly-sized pool. The views are phenomenal and being able to see the dolphins is such a treat. The house was very clean, the kitchen well-equipped, and Kim and Bob had everything available that you could need, even family items like a stroller, a high chair, and a portable crib. They were available to answer all of our questions.

Has everything you need!

We visited this beautiful property in early May 2025. Our part consisted of two couples and two kids, 3 and 5. We wanted for nothing during our stay! The property is big and feels very private, which we loved. That’s incredibly rare in the Keys! We thoroughly enjoyed the wrap around porch and the multiple seating options around the house. The pool is perfection, and we loved that it was gated for extra security for the kids. There’s sooo many toys for kids, including beach toys. The amount of kayaks and paddle boards is incredible, even though we only used one tandem kayak. For larger parties, this option is amazing. The view is unreal, and you can watch the sunsets from the comfort of the private dock (another rare find in the Keys). We brought a 22ft skiff and were able to put in just down the street from where we were staying and dock it at the dock. The water levels do get low, but if your boat floats skinny, it’s no issue. We spent the majority of our time outside, either boating, kayaking, swimming in the pool or enjoying the shade and breeze under the house. But inside is also so nice. 5 bedrooms! The beds, we all agreed, were so comfortable! The kitchen is incredibly well-stocked. There’s a Publix about 15 minutes away, so groceries and cooking in were very easy. The restaurant that neighbors the property was also very good. We throughly enjoyed our time here and are already discussing the next time we can return.

Bob and I looked for many years for a home in Marathon. When we took one look at this house and property, we knew this was it. The private yard and waterfront are just what we wanted. Oh, and the Dolphins next store love, love, love them.
For now, we have open up our house for a vacation rental until we can hopefully one day retire and also enjoy our self. Please treat it as it is your own and thank you for considering us.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

We are located in the middle of the Florida Keys known as the Heart of the Keys.
This house and property are very large and very private. Great for families to enjoy.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Being able to watch the Dolphin shows and training right off our dock. Being located in the Middle of the Keys you have a great opportunity to travel up or down the Keys and experience more that the Florida Keys have to offer. Marathon also has one of the largest beaches Sombrero Beach. In Marathon you will also find plenty of restaurants, Happy Hours, music entertainment, shopping, fishing, boat/jet ski rentals, snorkeling, scuba diving, golf and more. I'm sure you will be happy with your choice of staying in Marathon the Heart of the Florida Keys.
