Was really please with the location right across from the beach and in walking distance to restaurants and bars. The beds were very uncomfortable hard to sleep in and on our last day we found roaches in the master bathroom I was happy we were leaving cause at that point.

The accommodations worked out well for our family. It would have been helpful to have things like an iron, salt pepper, zip lock bags, etc. as well as more essentials like paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, dishwasher and laundry detergent available, especially for a 5 day stay. The north bedroom needs a mirror on the wall, and the main bathroom needs a hairdryer. It was a great location. I would stay there again.

1. Not what was expected from the advertised pictures.2. Upon initial entry there was a smell of damp body odor so we ran to the nearby Walmart for air fresheners.3. The microwave sounded like a jet airplane when operating but the owners left a note assuring the microwave still worked properly even though the noise made you think otherwise.4. Many of the condos where under repair due to structure issues.5. It was hard to sleep at night in the master bedroom as the poor insulation did not dampen the noise from the street approximately 40 feet away. Kept hearing noise from cars / trucks all night long. Especially late at night and early in the morning.

Beautiful location and condo, unfortunately the refrigerator was beeping constantly saying high temp and was warm inside, called maintenance and they did come and were super nice but they couldn't get the part in for 4 days and we only had 3 nights there, so we couldn't buy groceries for our kids to save costs which is why we booked a condo with a full kitchen.

Nice condo with all the amenities.

Loved the feel of the space. Close to crosswalk to get to the beach was a plus. I loved the patio in early mornings. Was a bit noisy in evenings with traffic.

Excellent condo and excellent location

We enjoyed our stay at The Dawn. We travel frequently and The Dawn is always our top choice. This condo was clean and I especially loved that the bathrooms were stocked with body wash and shampoo. That was a special touch!

Fun rest spot before Cruise

We came a couple of days before a cruise and loved the location and the place. Warning that although the condo was handicapped accessible the access to it was not. We had several stairs from the parking lot and into the condo that caused difficulty. Teen grandsons helped or we could not have managed.

Galveston stay

We were here on business. It was very close to the convention center where we were working all weekend. Great place to stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful

This was a really comfortable condo. There were three adults, my husband and I and our youngest adult son. We had plenty of room to sprawl out after the day and be comfortable. Great little balcony to look across the highway at the ocean. The beds were very comfortable, & each had its own bathroom. Very roomy . Plus, nice sized walk-in closets where you could actually lay out your suitcases on the floor in there. Hang stuff up and not be stepping over your suitcases on the actual bedroom’s floor. Great size kitchen. It’s a really nice condo. I could see where you would actually retire to this place and just live in it kind of downsized. excellent location for pleasure pier, etc. It has two swimming pools, really nice sized plus one has a hot tub. It was never crowded, but we are in the off-season. The only thing that I would say is parking could be a little better bc you park on the backside so you have to go up a short set of stairs with your suitcases as parking is not available in the level front of the bldg. but actually, you’re only lug your suitcases up one time bc the next trip is going down.. And I would strongly suggest a grab bar in the master bedroom shower. It’s beautifully tiled, but the tile on the floor can be a little slick so, a grab bar would’ve been nice to have in there. Other than that, we would come back in a heartbeat. And the price was unbelievably reasonable.

Cute condo with fun beach vibe

We enjoyed this condo as it was at a great location right across from the beach (highway in between). The grounds were very pretty and well kept. Walmart is right next door and neighborhood felt safe. It was very clean but there was a strong pledge (wood cleaner) smell that never went away, a few of us even got headaches. The closets in each room were huge which was great to have our open luggage out of the way. Kitchen had what we needed. We were disappointed that there were no extra pillows or blankets for the couch pullout, only sheets. It was also horrible to lay on and probably the only reason we wouldn’t book this condo again. It would be great for 4 people. Everything else was wonderful and we loved our visit. Note that the pool closes at 9pm. We wish we knew that although they did say to get wrist bands from the office.

All around excellent.

Dawn Condominiums are clean and overall well maintained. Our particular unit was also well maintained, clean, well appointed, and had everything (bedding, bathroom, and kitchen) for a long stay (2-weeks for us). It is on the first floor but you have several steps to climb to get there from the parking lot. The pool was in excellent condition and the pool area was great. It is also close to the condo. Even though they had encountered some water damage in the main office and fitness room, they had cleaned it up and kept most of the fitness equipment available. This was important to us. It is also in the same building as the office. The beach is immediately across the highway and a Walmart is across the street. Other shopping is also available nearby. Of course, their are many great restaurants all within a 4 mile drive. Definitely recommend.

It wasn’t bad

I loved the condo it was super. It’s we just had a few problems on it being clean. When we got there there was left over food in the cabinets, and a huge pan of grease left in the oven. The pillows on the couch also had weird crusty something on them. The shower curtain was also not clean. Everything else was super great and my friends and I even talked about coming back again! It just needs to be cleaned better!

Nice location, beautiful views

The space is easily accessible and beautiful condos. The amenities onsite are nice and the pool is fun. Easily accessible to local shopping, the seawall, and plenty of restaurants! The condo had some issues that were not properly addressed while we weee staying there and it smelled very musty.
