Belle maison de 3 chambres, hauts plafonds, avec sous-sol amĂ©nagĂ© pour un coin salon supplĂ©mentaire. 6 adultes est la capacitĂ© MAX. Les tout-petits et les nourrissons pris en compte bien sĂ»r. AccĂšs Ă  une laveuse complĂšte, une sĂ©cheuse, un barbecue. Cuisine complĂšte avec lave-vaisselle, rĂ©frigĂ©rateur / congĂ©lateur complet et 2 ponts, et un foyer confortable. Bois fourni pour foyer (veuillez ne pas en abuser ...). L'allĂ©e peut contenir 3 vĂ©hicules confortablement, mais pas plus. L'emplacement est Ă  3 km du village d'Old Forge et Ă  9 km d'Inlet. N'importe oĂč de 2-4 miles pour l'accĂšs au lac. Il convient de noter que 6 adultes / jeunes est la capacitĂ© maximale pour un sĂ©jour dans la maison. (les nourrissons et les tout-petits sont pris en considĂ©ration).

We really enjoyed our stay here! Their home was cozy, clean, nicely decorated with bear themes, comfortable couches & beds, fully equipped kitchen, and nature all around through large windows. Front porch great for stargazing, back deck spacious, and fire pit with plenty of wood to enjoy. We especially loved our bear sighting near their property! Chris was a great host.

Great 4th of July

We stayed for the 4th of July weekend and had a great time, the house is clean and comfortable. We had a mommy and baby deer in the back lawn every morning. The location is close to everything, We all had a great time.

Old Forge NY

Chris was absolutely amazing in responding to all of our questions, could not have been nicer and quicker in getting back to us. The house was welcoming, very comfortable,(beds were amazing, very clean and beautiful area to be in. Close to shopping and restaurants. We were there over Thanksgiving and got to enjoy Old Forge’s Main Street Christmas with parade and tree lighting. Would recommend this house absolutely. Hoping to be back.

Cozy Adirondacks

We had a cozy time staying in this great home in Old Forge. The weather was cold, windy and rainy but we really enjoyed coming back to this cozy home every night. We have already stay here for two long weekends and we will definitely stay here again next trip! Great location to all the activities and dining!

Beautiful mountain home

This home is beautiful and perfectly located for an ADK vacation. The host is very responsive and there are several nice amenities provided. Highly recommend and hope to go back ourselves.

Old Forge Getaway

This property was very clean with plenty of room for our family. It was close to everything in Old Forge. The property is quiet. Nice to have evening fires. Highly recommend this property if you are looking for a getaway to this part of the Adirondacks.

Great family trip!

We loved our stay! The house was clean and a great layout for our kids to safely run around and play. The deer came right up to us on the deck and we endnotes bon fires every night! Many great mentors were made here. We would absolutely recommend!

Quiet and Calm

This place is exactly as described in pictures. Very clean, very comfortable. The deck and fire pit were a big hit. Kitchen well stocked, furniture comfortable - close to Old Forge and Inlet - water pressure was great in the showers. The owner is VERY responsive to any questions that you have - well kept cabin!

Needs met at last minute booking.

Met the needs of our family of 6 but additional service charges were excessive. Property damage protection insurance should of been covered under a returnable fee upon inspection of property. Was disappointed with interior as pictures revealed a log interior (part of cabin ambience) was wall paper. Felt deceived.

For my Son's Birthday

My son wanted to go to Old Forge for his birthday and we found this listing. This was a rushed last minute trip but we were excited to find something available on a holiday weekend. We Initially were just planning on the five of us, but then after booking, our very close friends (one couple) were also able to join us as well. We did forget to update the guest count to 7 of us but didn't think anything of it or that it would be an issue. Well Chris (the owner) made it a big deal. We knew the house slept six people and were prepared and brought a blow up mattress for the extra person. Chris was rude when we told him that we are a group of 7 and decided to charge us an additional $300! He claimed that more than 6 guests, is taxing on the house?! Not sure I have ever heard that before. Regardless, we didn't make a big deal or question him about it and just paid him. In addition to our unpleasant welcome to the house, we later learned during our stay that the beds in each room are hard and extremely uncomfortable. The kitchen did not have a coffee pot, just an old keurig with weird flavored k-cups that no one likes. He provided one bath towel per person, with no extras. So naturally, we wanted to do a load of laundry so that we could wash our towels. The listing states you have access to the washer and dryer, but Chris later says we are not aloud in that room. All the kitchenware, kitchen utensils, furniture, and bedrooms were extremely outdated. We decided to bring our own camping chairs as the listing showed no chairs around the fire pit just tree stumps. When we arrived, there were Adirondack chairs outside that were not on the initial listing. Kind of annoying but not a big deal. Upon check out, we made a point to ensure everything was cleaned up, dishes were cleaned and put away, fridge emptied, sheets stripped off beds, etc. Chris still found small things to complain about and told us we were not welcome back. To be honest, I have NEVER been treated so poorly as a guest before. Regardless we would have never considered going back just based on the initial way we were treated upon check-in and how that unfortunately set the tone for the rest of our stay.

Old Forge retreat.

We had a very relaxing time at this beautiful cabin. The location was perfect for exploring the Old Forge area. Short drive to lots of activities, shopping and restaurants. The cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated in the classic Adirondack style. Chris and Kathy were great hosts! We will definitely book the charming cabin again!

Great stay!

We loved our stay at this house! Everything was clean, spacious and A short drive to town! Our family including young kids and a baby loved the space. We even enjoyed a visit from a deer family. We cannot wait to make this a yearly tradition!

Perfect Getaway!

Chris was great to work with, very accommodating. The house was perfect for our family of 5 and we lucked out with 80 degree weather in mid-May! We thoroughly enjoyed our little getaway.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the house, it had everything we needed and was very clean. The provided linens and mini toiletries (and coffee!), was a very nice touch and made it feel very welcoming. Would definitely stay again!
