Always a Great time in PCB

This was our second time returning to PCB for National Dance Competition. First time staying at this specific property. Condo was in great condition, everything looked as expected and the pull out couch was an added bonus. View, access to the beach and main pools were all great! Would stay here again!

Renovations

Unit could use some renovations in the bathrooms, drop ceiling and couches could be updated. Overall had a nice clean stay convenient to activities.

Excellent view, nice rooms.

Great view, well supplied with cookware and utensils. Plastic tile ceiling in master bath fell down, washer and dryer didn't work all cycles, tvs in both rooms wouldn't connect, guest room floor taped down is safety hazard. Great beach toys and chairs. Left our frisbies and fish nets for others to use!

Great vacation, Great Location

The property was great. The condo was clean and had great views of the ocean. Plenty of room for all 6 of us. The pools and splash pads were well maintained. We had wonderful access to the beach and always felt safe onsite. Shopping for souvenirs was just a few steps across the street. So much fun and lots to do. We will definitely be looking forward to coming back. Thanks for a great weekend with my family.

Great place and beach

Panhandle was very good and responsive. We had a few issues that was handled quickly. Dryer went out on us last day but they were able to let use another unused unit’s dryer. The building and room is showing its age but everything was clean! The pools and grounds were always clean and maintained. You do have to pay to park. Easy beach access! Could use a few more beach showers when it’s real busy. Check closets before buying beach gear!! People leave stuff they can’t take! Had a fantastic time with the family!

Great week at the beach

The unit was as described. Very spacious and fully stocked with needed kitchen items. Clean and updated. Only suggestion would be to replace the mattresses in both rooms

Bed from HELL!

Master bed was hard as a brick. It was like sleeping on a spring with a sheet over it, the floor would have been more comfy!! The ceiling tiles were falling in the entryway, the guest bathroom had a leek in the ceiling when you run the shower and the furniture had cobwebs all over it. Dishwasher still has dishes in it when we got there and didn’t know if they were clean or dirty, power outlets were hit and miss and some of the light switches didn’t work.

Springbreak

Great location ,clean enough, there were stains on the couch, bathrooms could be updated, dryer took forever, king bed was very firm and pullout you could feel the bars in it, I had kids sleep on the cushions. The resort was good.

Unit 1105 Edgewater needs cleaned and maintenance

Just a few cleaning and maintenance concerns, that we're never addressed after I called emailed and texted reservations and housekeeping. There is a large crack in the front window "fixed" with blue tape, the walls and cabinets are dirty with splatters of stuff on them, and there were dirty dishes left in the dishwasher and wet/soured clothes and towels left in the washer and dryer. The dryer does not work, at all. The couch is visibly dirty and stained, as well as having a sheet with a hair still on the pull out couch when we pulled it out. The bathroom rug is disgusting and we never took our shoes off in the unit because the floor was so bad We should not have been charged a cleaning fee due to the fact that there is no way this unit was cleaned properly before we arrived.

Low-end rental

Best used for partying students. Nothing luxurious. Superficially clean and poorly maintained. Had to request glasses and silverware. Broken sofa sleeper was replaced in 72 hours. Good location on high floor.

Review

Overall the experience was very good, room was clean and was supplied according to the email. Only challenge that existed was the dryer took a long time to dry the closes. This is due to the needed maintenance of the lent vent. Appears over time, previous tenants did not properly clean out the vent between loads and the property maintenance team hasn't serviced the equipment to get rid of the lent build up behind the fixed lent screen. It's an easy fix for the property manager to resolve. With that said, our family enjoyed our time and location, an will plan to return for another vacation.

Nice location. Property as described.

We had a great time. Property was as described and very clean. Beds in bedrooms we're comfortable with nice bedding. Pull out couch could be better but slept good as a couch not pulled out. Pool and quick access to beach was as good as it gets.

Condo rental.

We enjoyed the location & amenities. However, our condo had some plumbing issues, queen size sofa did not work, kitchen needs to be better organized and condo overall was just satisfactory.

Ugh

Elevator broke the day we left and had to carry everything from 11th floor. I was told there was no staff to help and no compensation for my trouble at all. I called panhandle getaways and they were less than helpful. So I’m a small woman and had to carry a weeks forth of stuff down 11flights; took 5 trips. Nobody cared a lick. I was told i had gym access but when i went they told me it did not come with my rental. Oceans restaurant onsite undercooked my fish one night and I vomited all night. Waitress less than apologetic then she spilled ice cold water in my lap. Not a great experience at all.

Hello Cara, We are so sorry to hear of the elevator situation. Unfortunately, there was nothing we could do about the elevator situation. Each of the condos in the building are owned by different owners and it is the RESORT itself that has to handle the elevator situation. It is unfortunate someone misinformed you about the gym as that was incorrect. Oceans Restaurant is not something we or the owner of the home you rented could do about the meal you experienced at the restaurant. I am 100% certain you were pleased with the accommodations & fantastic beach view from the balcony :) Smiles, The Panhandle Getaways Team
