Our stay at Island Time at Palm Island was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Diane’s property truly lives up to its name—relaxing, beautiful, and exactly what we were hoping for. The home was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and fully equipped with everything we needed to feel comfortable and at ease the moment we arrived.The location is ideal—peaceful and private, yet close enough to everything we wanted to explore. Pleasant stay on palm island

Such a great vacation for our group! The house was so nice and very well laid out. The host Diane was very kind and accommodating. The location had great accessibility for both fishing and beach. The beach itself was clean with so many sharks teeth. We even saw 3 seaturtles at night laying their eggs. We will be back next year, 5 star experience!

Great House

The house was beautiful. It was a great location and could see the beach from the screened in porch. Very easy walk to beach. House comes with great beach supplies so if flying it’s nice to still have chairs, beach towels, boogie boards, ect provided. Owner is wonderful and provides and abundance of information on the house, island, services, and surrounding area. Our family had a wonderful time.

Location, Location, Location

Super clean and charming island home. Bay( lagoon that leads to bay) to Gulf of America!The location of this property is absolutely perfect. The owner of the property was super responsive and communicative. Upon arrival we found a really clean and spacious rental. We especially loved the huge fridge! Normal sized fridges and 8 adults on an island is always problematic. No worries there!

Relaxing beach house

We enjoyed our stay! We most enjoyed relaxing on an empty beach, hanging out on the screened in porch, and exploring the island on the golf cart. This is our second stay at this property and I would recommend it.

Another day in paradise

Fun Getaway

Island Time

The name says it all. Once you step foot inside this rental all your cares disappear. All the conveniences of home but but an incredible island beach footsteps away. Excellent communication with owner who provides you with great info to make your trip all it can be.

FANTASTIC VIEW

Everything was as described and the gulf view is wonderful. Beach is literally steps away. The bed we used was comfy and showers were hot with strong pressure. Kitchen is well equipped with both a keurig and coffee maker. Diane is a good communicator - answered questions promptly and an excellent host. We rented the brand new golf cart and enjoyed cruising around the island and up to the resort restaurant. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

Relaxing

This is our second stay on Don Pedro Island. We love the quiet beach. Our place was a short walk to the beach and when we were not at the beach we still could enjoy a great view. Communication was amazing. Would stay again!!!

Book the house you won’t regret it !!

Great house with everything you could need for a beach vacation. Very short walk to the beach. Enjoyed evening rides in the golf cart. Dockage for our boat was a plus and host gave detailed instructions how to navigate the canals to the house. Definitely plan on renting again

Great place for Family Vacation

The owner was very prompt in answering any questions and very helpful. The Island is are favorite vacation spot. The location of unit is a close walk to beach. Partial beach view from front porch, spent a lot of time there after I fractured my ankle and could no longer go up and down stairs. Overall great place, would recommend.

Best place on the island

The owner meets all your needs. Communication is wonderful. The screened patio is great to have morning coffee and the hammock is where you will relax in the evening after a day at the Gulf. Looking forward to staying again.

Great Place!

‘Island Time’ is a wonderful place to stay if you’re considering spending time on Palm Island. The property is just as described on the listing, it’s clean, up to date, kitchen is fully furnished and the property owner is great with communication and prompt with responses on any questions you may have. The beach and the pool are just a short, few minute walk away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would book this property again!

Beautiful island with wonderful accommodations!

While have stayed on Don Pedro Island for several years this is our first year staying with Diane. Island Time has everything you could ever need and more, our family never went without. The home was clean and perfectly located, the kitchen had everything you needed and more and the “extras”, such as the beach chairs, towels and kayaks, were all well taken care. We already are looking forward to our return!

Excellent location and great amenities

We picked the house because of the closeness to the beach as well as a private dock with kayaks and paddle boards. We had a few minor issues come up but Diane was very easy to reach and she quickly resolved any issue we had. We will absolutely be staying at one of her properties in the future!

Palm Island getaway

The property was as advertised. It was clean, roomy, well appointed, and in a nice location. Owner was easy to communicate with, and always available. An important reminder is the home requires a car ferry ride to access, it was $55/RT. We never left the island, so not an issue.

We live in New Jersey and have been traveling to the Gulf Coast beaches for our recreation and vacations for over 25 years. The boating is fantastic and our time with our family has created a bunch of fond memories for us. Most Florida beaches are overbuilt and congested – it's hard to find a beach with so few people and so underdeveloped. We chose Don Pedro Island (Palm Island) for the natural beauty and 'Old Florida' feel. This chain of islands just may be the last true Florida beach you can walk 7 miles of a quiet shell filled beach and see more birds than people. We also liked that there are no beach bars and no high-rise buildings. It is the best of Old Florida, natural, unspoiled and a genuine paradise.

We decided to purchase a home here for the unspoiled beauty of the island and the area in general.
Palm Island has stunning scenery, minimal crowds, and good old peace and quiet.
It is an old Florida 'beach town' that reminds you of how Florida looked many years ago, without the huge high-rise condominiums and massive hotels clogging the beach and blocking your views. There are plenty of local 'home-grown' shops and restaurants and the fishing is some of the best in world. The beaches are fantastic and the boating is world-class. If you are looking for a great family area that is close to everything, but far away from the congestion, traffic and noise, you'd be hard pressed to find a better place. The only way to get on and off the island is by a 3 minute car ferry ride. Having no bridge to the island allows for a semi-private atmosphere and keeps beach going traffic to an absolute minimum. The island is all residential other than the resort area at the north end of Palm Island which offers a restaurant, deli and ice cream shop and small convenience store. Most all of the island traffic is by golf cart.

Staying on the island is not for everyone. If you like lots of places to shop, tourist attractions, beach bars and chain restaurants, this isn't the place for you. On the other hand, if you are looking for uncrowded and long deserted stretches of beach, great kayaking, fishing and swinging in a hammock under some breezy palms, this may be just the place. It's for a couple or family that wants some serious down-time ... a place to unplug and recharge your batteries and enjoy some great family time. Our house is pet-friendly with wood or tile floors throughout, a private outdoor shower (which is great for pets!) , entertainment area. You'll also enjoy a private dock overlooking the lagoon. Our landscaping is all Florida native and offers a very private, resort-style environment.
