Victoria Beach, Manitoba, Canada is home to my familial roots. I have enjoyed travelling to some wonderful places which has given me an appreciation not only for how other people in the world live but also a greater insight into the truly special nature of the place I come from as well!

As the family stewards of the home built by my father in the 1960s, my husband and I are proud to have restored and maintain this solid cedar cabin. It was the place of many a family gathering at "the beach" which holds special memories for us and hopefully new ones for your family too! Let our cabin be the gateway to your family memories-in-the-making in a cozy private setting that is ridiculously close to all of the fun stuff.

Historically known as “Little Elk Island”, Victoria Beach (VB) is a peaceful peninsula along the south basin of vast Lake Winnipeg boasting beaches & biking/walking trails in every direction. Just off its north shore, is VB’s larger neighbor, uninhabited Elk Island Provincial Park where visitors love to hike and explore. Home to beach, water & winter sport activities of all kinds and renowned for its beauty and tranquility. With glorious lake on all three sides of this small community, water play is never far from reach. And vast forested areas provide fun for ATV & Snowmobiles.

**SPRING to FALL** DRIVE RIGHT UP TO THE CABIN ALL YEAR LONG. Our cabin is NOT in the Vehicle Restricted Area (VRA) of Victoria Beach, HOWEVER, FUN FACT, the cabin is as close to the VB Village Green as over half of the cottages in the VRA!

Greenglade Getaway is on 14 forested acres of sunshine & serenity, next to Lake Winnipeg and located on the historical site of one of the longest operated Fur Farms in Canada. Fur farming marks a great achievement of our small community in being the largest producer in Canada throughout the 50's and 60's. Private trails throughout the property give guests added access to connected community trails and magical forest bathing opportunities for those seeking quiet reflection and meditation.

WINTER SETTING: Gorgeous and peaceful, with snow-covered pines, this private property is yours to get away from it all, yet to have grocery, beer/liquor, restaurants, skating, curling, skiing and sledding close at hand. The beautiful Victoria Beach X-COUNTRY SKI trails and groomed SNOWMOBILE trails can be accessed directly from the property. Play all day and return to a cozy warm cabin with fully functioning wood burning fireplace and a generous supply of FREE FIREWOOD. Make memories playing board games or pool & snooker in the lower level recreation room, with bar island and bar fridge.

SUMMER SETTING: There are open spaces for outdoor play and tall forest to enjoy especially when the setting sun washes the pines tops in golden light. Loads of wildlife can be enjoyed from the large picture windows and wrap around screen veranda while the sound of waves from Lake Winnipeg remind you that the lake is only 500 meters away. It is quiet as a campground at night with the perfect unobstructed view for enjoying the moon and stargazing from the large fire pad in the yard. Wake up to a chorus of birds and the sound of the waves on the lake.
