Bienvenue! Avec une vue spectaculaire sur la deuxième plus grande barrière de corail au monde et sa plage de sable blanc, Las Amapolas est niché parmi les cocotiers.
Las Amapolas se trouve sur une plage isolée qui était autrefois une ancienne plantation de noix de coco (El Cocal) à environ 3 km de la région de Mata Grande à Ambergris Caye. Il ne vous faudra que 30 minutes en voiturette de golf pour vous rendre à San Pedro, la seule ville de l'île. A 20 minutes de la célèbre plage secrète.
Las Amapolas (386 pieds carrés) dispose d'un balcon privé, d'un lit queen size et d'un mobilier de plage chic. C'est une fusion de simplicité, de nature et de confort - BAREFOOT LUXURY.
À votre arrivée à San Pedro, nous serons là pour vous rencontrer à votre point de débarquement. À ce moment, vous serez transporté à notre bureau où vous serez enregistré, remis les clés de la propriété et informé de toute autre information pertinente. This was an amazing find. The pictures didn't do justice to how well taken care of the property is, from check in, the stay, Gush is probably the nicest person you'll ever meet, to the flawless checkout, 10/10 oh, the cleaning staff were a amazing, the two ladies that came to our place made it sparkle. The location is perfect as well, out of the grit of the city but close to everywhere you want to be. The restaurant and the resort flanking the place were great stops for breakfast, drinks and dinner. You can't go wrong here.

This place was the perfect little get away. The front yard was the beach with plenty of chairs and hammocks for lounging. The air conditioning worked well and a water jug was provided. The hosts let us check in a bit early and helped us get our golf cart rental, which was truly a blessing as we wanted to get out of downtown San Pedro. I would recommend this place to anyone and would stay again!

Belizean Escape

The property at Las Amapolas was very beautiful and perfectly located on Ambergris Caye. Quiet and serene on site and a short walk or drive to great restaurants and bars.

Great Little Find

This is a really nice property for a single or couple that doesn't need a full apartment. A/C worked perfectly. The kitchenette was stocked well enough for small meals and snacks and the beach was very well kept!

Peaceful stay and amazing staff!

The place was exactly as described online. Very clean and quiet. Everyone we met that worked on or around the property were absolutely amazing! Gach helped with anything we needed, and Captain Robbie gave us an unforgettable day with a private deep water fishing trip and snorkeling. Very highly recommend!!!!

Beautiful beach stay

The place was perfect beautiful beach area. It wasn't listed but the owner Gach offered a kayak to take to the reef. June is a hot time of year and the AC barely kept up as we like it low 70 while we sleep. Overall Gach place was amazing and very peaceful.

Very Serene - Awesome Reef

We loved being right on the beach and found Gach to be an amazing host. We quickly felt like family. He recommended places to eat based on our tastes and things to do that were right for us. Our last night he had family and friends over and even included us for garnachos for the full moon. We'll remember that evening forever and can't wait to get back again. I HIGHLY recommend staying at Las Amapolas!

Beautiful view

Beautiful view and the communication was great with the property management. They arranged golf cart rental. Went out on a private snorkel trip arranged by Thomas who lives on the property and it was the highlight of the trip. If you are hesitating don’t it’s worth the potholed drive into town for the view and people.

Perfect place

There are not enough words to explain this amazing place. Not only was the location and cleanliness of the property perfect but the attention to detail and the amazing family who own it make this the most ideal place. If your planning to snorkel I say wait until you speak with captain Robby he lives on the property. This family really made our stay more than we could have wished for. They were so incredibly welcoming but also let us make our way too. I am already planning out next trip there.

Truly a hidden gem right on the beach as described.

I only spent one night at the property because it was far from town, I was travelling alone and there were no restaurants nearby. If you are looking for a more remote, quiet retreat, and can do your own cooking, then this is the place for you. I wanted to be closer to town and access to several places to eat. Otherwise, the host was kind and understanding. When I left, he suggested other places for me to stay.

Best time EVER!

Cannot say enough about how perfect this spot was for us - we got everything we needed out of this casita (and trip at large) and more! Thank you Nellie and crew for making everything easy and as stress free as possible. The spot itself is enough away from the town center that you had privacy, but not so secluded/far away that you felt too removed/isolated. Friendliest host and locals. Beautiful views. Exceeded our expectations! Thank you!!!

Great trip!!

Great host. Very helpful. Already planning another trip back. Only major issue was the air conditioner. There was no glass in the windows causing the cool air to escape. It would have been nice to have the room cooled before we even got there.

Short but oh so sweet

Arrived ahead of schedule but were met with grace. Check in and golf cart rental was smooth. The roads...were not, but hey, that was part of the fun. Apartment was clean and perfect for us. Enjoyed coffee on the front porch with the sunrise. We unfortunately had an emergency and had to leave early. Everyone was so helpful in getting us back home. Not only would I recommend staying here but we will surely return, for a much longer stay this time.

Cozy slice of heaven on Ambergris Caye

Las Amapolas delivered as promised. If you are looking for a cozy, well-equipped place to base your Ambergris Caye vacation from and away from the crowd, this is it. The location is lovely, right on the beach. The deck was the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee and the beautiful sunrises, and to listen to the surf breaking over the barrier reef. We divided our meals between eating / cooking in and dining out. The kitchen area is small and so efficiency is the watchword. There are lovely restaurants a short walk down the beach in either direction and some lovely local stores for fresh fruit and veggies, baked goods and other necessities. Our excellent host Gach Guererro was very attentive to our needs and comfort and an all-round gentleman. It all made for a wonderful and very relaxing two weeks.

Great Birthday Weekend

First time to Belize and was not disappointed. It was as advertised. Beautiful water view off the balcony. Waking up to the birds chatting and an ocean breeze was so relaxing. From the time I booked the condo, Gach and his team were quick to respond to my questions. It is located a few miles from town, which added to the peace and quiet, but I highly recommend getting a golf cart to explore the area. We drove all over. There are many potholes in the road outside of town, but traffic was not bad and dodging them was part of the fun.

I was born and raised in San Pedro and proud to call this island home. As a true sampedrano, I love the food, the sea breeze, the smell of salt in the air, and the friendly faces that make this place special.

Due to my job my first cousin Nellie of Nellie"s Property Management is in charge of Las Amapolas. She is also a native of the island.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

The land has been in the family for over a 100 years. It was a coconut grove in its early days. Coconut harvesting was the main industry of the island before fishing and tourism. The beach is beautiful and the Belize Barrier Reef is only a few laps from the shore. Crystal clear waters good for snorkeling and fishing. One of my brothers and I decided to build a casita to spend our free time and at the same time share it with tourists that are looking for a quiet place to relax and enjoy a peaceful vacation. It is a little piece of paradise on a sandy beach tucked among coconut trees. Naturally beautiful.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Las Amapolas is unique because its is out from town and still close enough to enjoy the charm of San Pedro Town. Its on one of the most beautiful areas of the island, Mata Grande, where sunrises are beautiful and just relaxing on one of the lounge chair or on a hammock feels like being in paradise. The sky is lit with stars at night and if you happen to be here during a full moon you will fall in love. The famous Secret Beach is only a fifteen minute ride away on golf cart. The property is still the way the Caribbean use to be - naturally beautiful.
