Shotgun Retreat est une location spacieuse à Island Park. Cette cabine de 2 400 pieds carrés comprend 3 chambres, 2 salles de bain et une mezzanine complète à l’étage. La cabine est équipée de WiFi, câble, laveuse, sécheuse et une cuisine bien approvisionnée. Ce chalet est situé à 25 minutes de West Yellowstone et à proximité des sentiers de motoneige / VTT. Cette cabine pourra accueillir confortablement 12 personnes.

Beautiful, comfortable cabin

This property provided a great getaway for my family. The cabin is very comfortable, providing plenty of room and amenities for all of us. Jodi is a great host, quickly responding to our questions. Highly recommended property!

Enjoyed our stay

Found this rental last minute for our family to visit Yellowstone and GTNP. Had plenty of room in a quiet area. Kitchen had plenty of cookware and utensils. Construction crews cut the water line one day, so we were without water several hours, but stuff happens. Jodi was prompt in answering all questions and was really great to deal with. The only not as positive thing I have to say is that a bigger hot water heater would really help. We had 8 in our group, and after a long day of exploring, we all needed showers before bed. Even with shutting the water off between soaping up and rinsing (the way our dad made us do when we were teenagers, lol), there wasn’t quite enough warm water for all of us. Just a small inconvenience that we made work. Overall we had a great experience and a great vacation.

Cabin was nice and well stocked. Location was not ideal.

We enjoyed the cabin, though a few of the beds need replaced. It was well stocked and clean. The location is not a plus to renting this cabin. And a dog in the neighborhood kept hanging around the cabin and bit my granddaughter when she tried to pet it. If the cabin were actually in the woods it would be a great space.

Tonya, Thank you for your review. I will definitely look into the beds. I apologize for the dog, I wish you would of contacted me about the bite as I was unaware and would have definitely contacted the Sheriff to file a report. Our cabin is surrounded by trees and is a few miles from the main road. Thank you for your review and I hope you made some memories.

Comfy Cabin

Comfortable well decorated and outfitted cabin near a variety of outdoor recreational activities and access to West Yellowstone. Jodi is very responsive and has created a great space to relax and enjoy your time away.

The property seemed further out then wss said but it was so nice to come to a comfortable place after spending a long hot day in yellowstone park.

Great family cabin but limited internet

This is a great rental for a larger group. The owner clearly puts a lot of effort toward making sure the cabin has everything you need. It’s not a luxury property but it’s well cared for and comfortable. The only drawbacks are it’s location and the lack of reasonable internet. The WiFi is so limited it’s not workable if you need to maintain any contact and cell service is very limited to. Not a good choice if you need to stay connected or need to work. Also not close to any restaurants or shopping. But if you’re cooking at the cabin and want to get away from a cell/internet leash this is a very comfortable choice.

Great place for a last minute getaway!

We decided last minute we needed a change of scenery. We were lucky enough to stumble on this property and it was perfect for our trip! It was close to every activity we wanted to do. (Fishing, floating the river, ATV rides, horseback riding and Yellowstone) Clean, comfortable and fit our family just right. Jodi was awesome with her communications and answered all the questions we had, which was helpful in planning our trip. We look forward to booking another stay!

If we could give this place a 10+ we would!

We loved this cabin It's so clean and so roomy. Beds were comfy. Definitely a home away from home. We loved using the upstairs deck for star gazing. We loved eating on the outdoor porch and using the fire pit for hot dogs and smores. It also had a fun basketball hoop and horse shoes for our enjoyment. It has everything you could need including a screened in porch and a fun front deck. Jodi was wonderful to work with. The distance to Yellowstone and Mack's inn were great as well. Can't say enough good things. We plan on staying here again in the future. Thank you so much Jodi! 😁👍

Nice Vacation!

The cabin had plenty of space! We were able to experience some of Island parks attractions as well visit Yellowstone. We took advantage of the great backyard by hosting friends for dinner and s’mores over the fire pit. Thanks for a nice vacation!

Great place to stay in Island Park!

We had a great time staying at the shotgun retreat. Clean and had a fun cabin feel inside. Beds are comfy! We enjoyed the fire pit and deck out back! Definitely recommend this cabin and hope to make it back soon!
