Superior Place to Stay in Twain Harte

This is a wonderful house where you can relax and get away from it all. It is very quiet and private. We have stayed in many houses in Twain Harte over the years and this one was the best. Lake is the best place to cool off!

Location!

Excellent Retreat

Cabin was very nice. Kitchen is well-equipped and decor is on-point for a mountain retreat. Valorie was so helpful and quick to respond to questions. The little lake was really fun (and cool!) with a snack bar that was surprisingly good. Really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Getaway Retreat

We were amazed to find this cabin in Twain Harte for a brief getaway this summer. It was perfect, tranquil, and serene. The owners bent over backwards to make our stay wonderful. Twain Harte is a wonderful little town along the Highway to Yosemite. Everyone, include three teenagers, came home happy!

Valerie has seen every detail to make their home offering all that is thought of, or needed to enjoy a relaxing and stress free visit. Crystal Woods is a winner with us!

The Keller's Crystal Woods cabin is one of the nicest cabins that we have stayed at in Twain Harte, and we have stayed at many. It was very appealing with a lovely decor, a nicely laid out floor plan, and lots of amenities. We enjoyed using the well-equipped kitchen and attractive dining room, as well as the tables on the deck outdoors. We appreciated having a large living room and family room and the air conditioning kept the home quite comfortable in warm weather. The cabin has a quiet location, with an easy walk to town. The owners are very amicable and responsive. We highly recommend the Keller's Crystal Woods cabin!

Better than advertised!!

This was such an amazing place to stay! We expected it to be nice from the photos and description but man did it exceed its Expectations! Super cozy, very very clean, amazing layout with an extra family room to watch tv and hang out. The deck is lovely with an awesome gas grill. All the beds were very comfortable and the master bedroom has a really awesome bed (I think it’s a sleep number). The water pressure in the master bath is great and the water gets super hot. Loved the bathtub in the other bathroom (the host even leaves bubble bath for kids :-)) many added touches that were really appreciated. The AC kicks! The window coverings are super nice too! The couch in the front room is HUGE and fits the whole family! Great open kitchen with everything you’d need. Thank you for such a great stay!

Sumptuous and then some!

We have rented numerous other properties in Twain Harte, but this home will certainly be our "go-to" in the future. In the first place, communication with the owner was stellar. The welcome packet actually included a comprehensive list of kitchen equipment which greatly facilitated my meal planning. Items in the cabin were also clearly labeled which again made it easy to locate things (e.g. chargers). In addition, the local contact greeted us shortly after we arrived to make sure we were doing well and understood how to use the recently installed new dishwasher. The beds/linens/furniture were all of high quality. We especially enjoyed using the deck for meals as it was convenient to the kitchen and shaded. While other rentals in Twain Harte, may offer fans/swamp coolers, this home has central air conditioning which is in my opinion critical during the heat of summer. The separation of the master bedroom/bath from the other bedrooms/bath would easily facilitate have two couples/families share the space. It goes without saying that our grandchildren loved swimming/playing at the lake. When the owner requests that renters treat her home with kindness, it is definitely appropriate and warranted. This is a home, furnished as a home, cared for as a home, filled with the memories/experiences that make a house a home. I encourage you to make it yours, as well, even if only for a brief stay.

Our best stay yet at Twain Harte!

We had the best time at Twain Harte and staying at this lovely home. Communication from start to finish was on point and clear. Directions how to turn things on and work certain items were posted throughout the house. The home was extremely clean and well furnished. Having a washer and dryer and the AC were lifesavers. It was a short walk to town to the mini golf and restaurants which was great. We definitely want to come back again and highly recommed this property.

We are the Kellers, a family of five, who live in the Bay Area and love the mountains, summer or winter!!

We bought our cabin in Twain Harte in 2014. We love the town and although our location is private and secluded, being able to walk into town is so fun, for a yummy meal, mini-golf, shopping including a great food market, a general store (called the Twain Harte Pharmacy), a hardware store and more. We have a membership to Twain Harte Lake and love the old-fashioned fun scene, including a snack shack and small rentable watercraft.

We fell in love with our cabin on first sight, because the entry is into a warm and inviting cedar-lined living room with a view of the trees behind. The floor plan is all on one level and bedrooms are at opposite ends of the house. There are two living areas with a Smart TV in each. Central air conditioning is a plus for hot summer days. Two deck areas off the back are private and large and include a large, deluxe gas grill.
The cabin is clean, with new carpet and windows. It's quiet and serene, a real getaway with all the right conveniences. You and your guests will feel calm and refreshed after a stay at Keller's Crystal Woods.
