La maison Roux est une charmante maison mise à jour à la perfection avec une ambiance de la Nouvelle-Orléans que vous remarquerez à la minute où vous entrerez. Maison spacieuse parfaite pour les groupes de toutes tailles et idéale pour les voyages d'affaires et les réunions intimes. La maison est à un mile du centre-ville et située directement sur la ligne de tramway qui vous amènera au centre-ville et au quartier des arts Bishop très désiré. Vous y trouverez une abondance de boutiques et de restaurants. 5 chambres spacieuses pourront accueillir confortablement 17 personnes. La maison Roux dispose d'une grande salle à manger avec une table pouvant accueillir facilement 12 personnes ou plus. Beau bar hors du salon qui s'ouvre sur un grand patio extérieur parfait pour les rassemblements. Les équipements comprennent la télévision par câble, Internet, une cuisine entièrement équipée et de nombreux autres luxes et conforts de la maison. "La Maison Roux" avec tout son caractère original, son histoire et son charme ne vous décevra pas! Bienvenue!

Great Location and Beautifully furnished house with it's original character. This is a Historic property and has outdated plumbing (poor water pressure throught home), difficult parking, and a distinct odor throughout the home (assuming due to the age). The attic bedroom is pretty but had 2 large roaches and no one in our party was willing to stay in that area of the home.

Pest Control: Being in a heavily treed Texas area, we maintain proactive quarterly pest control. Finding a deceased insect means our routine treatments are working exactly as intended to keep the home protected. Parking: We offer four dedicated parking spots in our rear parking area, which provide ample space for our guests. Historic Charm: While a 100-year-old home naturally carries a unique character, we continuously maintain and refresh the property to ensure a comfortable stay. As the current owner from New Orleans I decided to turn our personal home of over 10 years into an Airbnb and dedicate it to my late dachshunds Beaux and Roux. We could not think of a better tribute to our dearly missed fur-babies and decided to call it "The Roux House". I'm proud of being from New Orleans and truly enjoyed decorating the home with a New Orleans vibe. I've taken pride in ownership of the home over the past 10+ years.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

Based on the location and the growing tourism in the area we decided to move out and turn our home into an Airbnb. You will not be disappointed with the location of the home and the multitude of local attractions.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

We were told by a nephew of the original owner that she was a girlfriend of Jack Ruby. As a child he said that he has a photo with himself and Jack Ruby in front of the grand piano in our living room! If you stand in our front yard and look across the street to your left you will see a red roof house which was the home of Lee Harvey Oswald. A brief walk or trolley ride to the desirable Bishop Arts District. You will not be disappointed with the shopping and restaurants available to you.
