It was a very clean and spacious place, with artistic decor. It was about a half hour's walk from the centre of Bergerac, so a convenient location, also close to the airport.

We’ve just had a lovely time here Nice , quiet , safe , comfortable …Michelle is delightful and helped make our stay even more special Location is perfect and just 12 mins walk down to the river and main centre

The apartment is beautiful and the swimming pool a huge bonus in the hot weather. Michèle was very kind and helpful and made us feel very welcome

The property was very accommodating Michelle was very helpful as we did not have a car we thought it would be ok to walk into Bergerac but we did not realise it would be so very hot which made walking tough. Michelle took us and picked us up on occasions Trying to get taxis was not good. However the beautiful pool was just amazing and made for an enjoyable time.we would love to return one day but possibly hire a car

Lovely annex on the side of the owners building. You enter through a separate door and the owners are very discreet and give you privacy. The pool and sunbeds are truly wonderful and very welcome in the heat. We will drop a few comments to Michèle as there were bits that you could do with in the kitchen such as scissors, an oven tray etc and ideally mosquito screens on all the windows. It was incredibly hot and the mosquitoes were full on in September. The property is about 1.5km from the centre and we got an uber down as so hot one evening. I would recommend having a taxi number as a back up as the Ubers went offline around 9.30pm. Lots of large supermarkets within a short drive and a visit to Pombonne just north of the town has a lovely lake and beach with a bustling restaurant. I would recommend staying at Michele’s as it represents good value for money.

Michele was helpful and friendly. The property was quite good. Could do with a few more mugs/cups for drinks. Bed was comfortable and good bathroom. Would remove the sofa or replace it, seemed a bit old and uncomfortable. It was a bit further from the town centre than we thought. You do need a car.

La maison est au calme, très bien située, confortable. Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine. Les propriétaires sont charmants et disponibles si besoin. Je recommande vivement cette location.

Bergerac stay

The apartment was attached to the owners house but was quite separate. The garden area was large and the pool great. We arrived in very hot weather so walking into Bergerac was just a bit further than we were prepared to walk, parking in town wasn't a problem. There was a supermarket about 5 minutes away by car. Michelle was very welcoming.

Ideal base for visiting Bergerac & Surrounding Areas

Ideally positioned for walking into town. Bergerac is a beautiful town with lots character & history. The owner of the property is very helpful & friendly with a good grasp of English. She also gave good references for example where to eat and places to visit.

Tolles Ferienhaus, das keine Wünsche offen lässt!

Nur 15 Gehminuten vom hisotirschen Ortskern entfernt, in einer der schönsten RegionenFrankreichs, aber in absolut ruhiger Wohngegend liegt der Bungalow, 3 Schlafzimmer, jeweils mit Bad, und sehr schickem und gemütlicher Wohnbereich. Bei sehr heißen Sommertemperaturen ist der Pool auf der auch sonst sehr gut ausgestatteten Terasse ein absolutes Highlight. Hervé ist ein sehr aufmerksamer Gastgeber, der uns sogar Mückenlampen und Autan zur Verfügung gestellt hat, die beide leider nötig waren. Wir haben uns dort mit unseren zwei erwachsenen Söhnen sehr wohlgefühlt und auch mit 3 Paaren hätte man ausreichend Platz und Privatsphäre. Sehr zu empfehlen undjeden Euro wert!

Fantastic property!!

The house is beyond fantastic with everything you could possibly need. Slept 5 adults comfortably and big enough for everyone to have their own space. Herve was very welcoming. Would definately stay here again!

Wonderful villa

Lovely villa with fantastic pool. There was plenty of room for everyone and the facilities are great. Hervé was so welcoming and was easy to communicate with. He even picked us up from the airport!

Oasis in the heat

We had a lovely holiday and the outside area was great . The swimming pool was well used by us and was a great asset to the house .The inside is quite quirky . It did take us a bit longer than ten minutes to walk to the centre . The house was situated in very quiet neighbourhood and we enjoyed the peace and quiet. . It is a lovely area of France . Herve was very welcoming . We arrived on a Sunday with shops all closed it would be nice to have had a welcome pack with a few essentials otherwise there is a bread shop in the centre which will sell sandwiches and water etc for a snack . Lots of places to eat in Bergerac and we enjoyed the relaxed way of life .
