Honestly this one was on me, I didn’t read the reviews. The building itself is great however this unit is TIRED. Everything was just old and in desperate need of a revamp. There is a mold problem in both bathrooms and the walls, baseboards are dirty and torn up. Definitely not for a tv watching family, a few of the outlets were so loose the plugs wouldn’t stay in. Was the location amazing, absolutely. Were the pools and hot tub great, yes. Would we stay in this unit again, no.

It was decent. Needs fresh paint and some wall repair. The accent pillows on the couches were wet and never dried out. I was not told until we left but, in the front bathroom, there seems to be mold on the shower tile.

It was OK, not great, but the price was right so It worked well for us.

The room was nice, the refrigerator was brand new and worked well. It was clean, the view is great and the location is great. However, the beds were not comfortable at all and the blanket on the beds were like a thick extra sheet. I would recommend bringing blankets with you if you are driving. For as inexpensive as It is, It worked well for our needs.

Amazing view

We had a great time staying at this unit. We enjoyed eating breakfast and dinner in the balcony. The kitchen is equipt with basic necessities so we were able to cook . The unit is clean. The resort is conveniently located. Two things this unit needs- more towel racks in the master bathroom and the balcony chairs need to be cleaned. Black spots noted ..

Get what you pay for...

Cons:Refrigerator broken, sink broken, vacuum cleaner broken, master bedroom dripping AC vent, nasty bathroom curtain, and customer support Pros: easy check-in, great view, comfortable bed master bedroom, plenty of pools, and centralized to food, shopping and entertainment.

Could be a nice condo

It has a great view of the beach and 3 pools to use and a couple hot tubs . The inside of the condo was in pretty bad shape. The baseboards were all chipped and not painted and you could see insulation coming out of some of the pieces. When we got there, the screen doors were off the sliding doors on the patio and the closet doors were just laying against the wall. The dryer didn’t work, and nobody fixed it all week, so we had to figure out other laundry arrangements. The walls in the twin room were nasty and had stuff over the walls that needed to be cleaned. It could be a really nice place if the maintenance was kept up right

Run far away!

The listing needs updated terribly. I could see the unit needs updating but it could still have been clean. The carpet is in horrendous condition with large stains (new and old stains) throughout all carpeted rooms. We did not walk barefoot on it. The wrought iron kitchen table left rust marks on the carpet. Looking back at the reviews I can see people have complained several times about the carpet. Obviously, Vacasa did not care enough to get it replaced or even shampoo it! I took pictures and sent to Vacasa. No response! Will NEVER use Vacasa again. The bathrooms smell moldy. We had a hygiene liner for a swimsuit stuck to the railing of the deck. Multiple light bulbs were burnt out. Something smaller but important if you have small children, all cups were glass. Not ideal for families.

Worst Experience

This place was Horrible!! When we first saw pics I was unsure of it because the pics was filtered to look glamorous but this place was far from it…Let’s start from the beginning, as soon as you walk in the door, the smell hits you in the face.. literally. (Kitchen )was so outdated… fridge was old and dirty… freezer will not make ice at all… kitchen floor was dirty… I mean filthy.. kitchen mat was so filthy and disgusting… dishwasher door was leaning… eating utensils was dirty in the drawer …garbage disposal was not clean… food was left in it.. smelled sour.. had to pour hot water and dish detergent down the drain…the smell was bad… (2nd bedroom) small.. closet was filled with random things… carpet in unit had a wet smell and spots…dryer made loud noises.. glass table had fingerprints all over them… (Living room) couch and oddimen felt damp… tv was outdated and dusty.. ceiling fan string had cluster of dust on it .. wholes and cracks in walls… dirty fingerprints on the doors.. some look like blood.. (Balcony) was dirty and trash was left around … table outside was dirty.. sand and leftover food dripping everywhere out there…it felt very damp in the entire place .. Master bed felt like concrete…water was dripping from the vent…shower rod was rusty in master bedroom… towels were extremely dry and hard….Last but definitely not least: MOLD WAS ON MAJORITY OF THE CEILING IN THE MASTER BEDROOM!!!!! Absolutely the worst experience I’ve had…we were moved to another unit which we had to loose a bedroom room but it was a better living environment… do your research before booking this unit!!!

Great resort, bad room and bad service from Vacasa.

This is the first time in the history of vacations that I will write a review on a rental unit. VERY disappointed. While Pelican Beach Resort was all that was expected, unit 1613 was a dump for the price we paid. Never will we rent a space managed by Vacasa again. I’ve forwarded to Pelican Beach Resort because I know that they have many much better managed and owned units in their space and should be concerned about Vacasa ruining the reputation of a nice resort. Reasons…. • We had a stove that short-circuited. Sparks flew out of the top of the stove and burned a hole through the pot we were cooking with. We called. It took two days for someone to just show up and turn the breaker back on. No, he didn’t fix it. He just set us up for an electrical fire. So, we had to call AGAIN and wait for him to show up. Luckily, we were there when he showed up this time so he could see the real problem and fix the stove. The repairman was great but wasn’t given the correct information about the situation. Meanwhile, we were without a stove for nearly 3 days. We cook on vacation for almost every meal. One of our favorite parts about traveling to the beach is buying fresh, local seafood to cook. The expense and inconvenience of having to travel out to restaurants was unexpected, expensive and a nuisance. • The refrigerator wouldn’t cool properly. We lost ALL food in the freezer. We couldn’t make ice and there were no other ice options in the building. We called and texted about the problem with ZERO response. Therefore, we had no freezer and less than safe refrigerator conditions. • The amount of food that we had to trash because of the poor quality of appliances amounted to hundreds of dollars in lost groceries and unanticipated restaurant visits. • Not to mention the black mold growing all over the vents. Yes, I understand that Florida gets moldy. I also understand that black mold is toxic and someone should at least attempt to wipe it from the vent covers and ceiling. • The beds were horrible. My husband resorted to sleeping on the couch because the bed was so hard. • The washing machine had a hairball in it the size of a large mouse. Actually, I initially thought it was a mouse. Disgusting. I can deal with the stained carpets, beat-up woodwork, food splatters on lamps, etc. But when the essential appliances don’t work and the overall safety of my family is in jeopardy, I get upset. I spent nearly $8000 with Vacasa and am HIGHLY disappointed. My only positive comment is the kind customer service person I was able to get in touch with about the stove issue. While the issue took a while to be resolved, she was very kind and thoughtful.

Just okay...

There was no cable, and I sent a message that was never answered about that. The refresh needs replaced. We had to take off a part of inside door, so it would stay closed. And freezer didn't keep our ice frozen. Only gave us 2 garbage sacks for 6 nights. Master bath could use a better curtain and replace the rod with a curved one for more room. Also, add a hair dryer. It was clean and nice enough.

Such a great place

We had a fun 2 nights in this condo and enjoyed every minute. The view to the Gulf and the beach was worth getting up for. The beds and LR furniture we’re comfy. The kitchen was well appointed for cooking a meal. The staff at the front desk were friendly and accommodating, a plus in the busy Spring Break season.

Spring Break 2022

We had a great time at this location, it was easy to check in and staff was courteous. The place was clean and well staffed. The condo has a beautiful view. We didn’t have any major issues, the freezer doesn’t keep food cold and ice cream etc wasn’t edible… The ceiling in the master bath as well as the adjacent bedroom really needs the leak in the ceiling fixed and I agree with others that baseboards could use some attention. Bedding was super clean and we left coffee filters for the coffee pot.
