Located right on the Gulf of Mexico and just a short walk from the Harbor Walk shopping center, you and your guests will enjoy access to a host of on-site amenities including multiple pools, tennis courts, and private beach access.

Inside this stylish vacation rental, you'll find a well-equipped, full kitchen with a breakfast bar, and a sunlit and inviting living area with a queen-size sofa bed and a cable-equipped TV. Outside, soak up the Florida sunshine on your furnished deck complete with a picnic table for alfresco dining, or walk right down onto the sand.

Nice place to stay

Even with the few problems we had, I thought the place was lovely and had a great time. Very nice furniture and I loved the privacy, beach access and other amenities.

We had so many repairs that needed to be done, including broken doors, no batteries in the remotes, missing lightbulbs, and a broken ice machine. The items were fixed on our third night except for the doors.

Good stay

Nice stay. Nice amenities. I feel like the house needs a few upgrades like making sure all electrical outlets are working and the laundry room door and back door was a pain to open and shut. Other than that no complaints. Very clean and easily accessible.

Location is everything!

This condo’s location is wonderful! The Sand Flea bar is within feet of your front door as well as the boardwalk to the beach! The beach chairs and umbrella were a delightful bonus! The unit could definitely use some upgrades. We had a lot of difficulty using the patio doors in the master suite as well as living room.

Overall the area we stayed was great!The beds at this location were absolutely terrible, our friends ended up sleeping on the cou h because the bed was so uncomfortable. The room vents, did not work. We call the property manager as directed if sometimes was wrong. After playing phone tag, someone was sent out, just for the maintenance guy to tell us "theres nothing I could do"

The location was great, but the unit needs a lot of work. The front door & screen door wouldn’t stay closed unless locked, the patios doors are all so warped they barely open or close. The master bedroom patio doors will not open. The kitchen appliances are in need of replacement. The stove burners are unbalanced and there were mouse droppings in cabinets. The master bathroom body wash dispenser fell off the wall and products were empty. The washer smells moldy and there were cigarette butts on the porch and trash under. I’ve stayed at other Sand Piper Units and never had a bad experience.

Nice, clean place, good price, great location

Enjoyed the place. Just there to do some fishing with my brother. Everything worked as is should for the most part. The back door - an access to the beach, was hard to open and close, but no big deal. Location is great. Plan to return again with the Mrs..

I'd book it again

The bad first...at check in I had to call and be on hold for 10 minutes to get the door unlock code. The French doors from the master bedroom can only be opened with much difficulty and closing them takes 2 people. The French doors from the living room were just barely better. There is a leak at the top of the living room French doors The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked.

Dirty and Door Issues

All doors on the property are extremely hard to open and close/lock. To the point where we barely used the back porch because of how difficult it was to open ane close. Also the floors on the property were very dirty to the point where we had to report them to the company. Although we had some issues the location of the rebtal is great and property has a lot of nice features.

We had a nice stay. Condo was fairly clean and no major issues. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again. My only complaint would be the clothes washing machine. It smelled of mildew and made our clothes smell as well. We cleaned the dryer filter out. We had to use a garbage bag for the amount of lent. The filter was in an odd spot so I imagine most people were not cleaning it. No complaints were made as this wasn’t a major deal for us. Just something they may want to develop a cleaning schedule for.

Needs a lot of work to bring it up to standard of impressing given on online views and description Encountered a lizard joining us from under front door patio/deck could not use because door is so warped from water damage you can see on ceiling which was patched poorly AC didn’t work properly because of poorly vents Couldn’t do laundry because dryer was broke Sofa had rips, box spring in second bedroom had rips and holes I took pictures Very very disappointing and it wasn’t cheap We have stayed at this property of Sandpiper Cove before but have never booked through VRBO/Vacasa and not sure I would again

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE

We love Sandpiper Cove, my family owns a unit here and has off and on since the 1970s. We chose to rent for Spring Break this year on the beachside because of the location for the children. This unit is cute and convenient. HOWEVER, the management company as well as the owners are useless in resolution of a MAJOR issue
..we had no internet/cable the ENTIRE trip. I started calling to figure out the issue the first evening we arrived and called/texted 3-4 times per day to VACASA. I was given the runaround over and over and over. We were told “someone will call you right away” “someone will be right there” “the owner didn’t pay the internet company” “we will get this straightened out” “we are so sorry” blah blah blah. This was such an infuriating inconvenience as we had 4 children/teens that use the internet as well as us wanting to watch TV at night or watch Netflix. The fact that the owners didn’t pay the bill? We found that out day 2, so why on day 5 do we still not have internet? No one ever called me back. I had to call them and text them to find out updates (which there weren’t any after day 2) and it was just a bunch of wasted breath and time on hold. My point is, VACASA was useless, and the owners never did a single thing. We will never book a VRBO that is managed by this company and we will never book this unit again. Too bad because we come here often and it’s a great location.

Upon arrival the front door was broke. As we entered it was beautiful, clean. However we went to the patio and neither of the patio doors worked. My husband has to open the living room one and we never did get the master bedroom doors to work. The tv in the master bedroom was also behind a broken closet door you could barely open. All the chairs on the patio are broken, the tables warped. Broken glass and garbage at the bottom of steps. We went to use the dishwasher and the kitchen flooded. We were out a dishwasher. The fridge a few days in was making an incredibly loud noise and all my food in the freezer went bad. I communicated issues on day one and proceeded too all week and not one person showed up except for a day we came back to a paper in our door about our beach towels hanging over the railing!!! Vacasa is a joke. They are still giving me the run around with making any of this right. I only leave good reviews on here. I have been waiting to leave a review in hopes they would make things right and they are not. We have had minor issues before at places, we are not ones to publicly complain. Something is definitely not right with this vacation agency. PLEASE BE AWARE do not book with these people. Since this I have had a few people tell me their experience with Vacasa also. They are fraudulent. Whatever you experience they will not show up and give you the runaround. Terrible!

We will definitely consider this unit for future trips. Location and convenience to the beach, boardwalk and Destin attractions is great. Unit was very clean and decorated neatly. Only issues were that sheets were not provided for the twin roll-away beds, and we had to go purchase sheets to use them. Also, there was a broken patio chair that my mother-in-law tried setting in and fell through. Management had probably not been notified that it was broken and needed removed prior to our arrival.

Many areas for improvement

* guest bedroom sheets had hair all over them, and néw tag labels inside sheets. Bed sheets were definitely not changed. * Had no sheets for the roll out bed, asked for some and never received. We asked for sheets the first two days. They kept saying they are on it and someone will handle It shortly. Never heard from anyone. I got tired of asking and went and bought sheets at target. They should have to pay me back * All extra blankets were dirty (crusty and stained) looked like they had throw up on them! * Kitchen sink moved around inside the countertop. * No air filter in air return very stuffy In there * Leasing office never advised that we had to check in with the security station to get gate code, when we first got there. They told us that we go straight to condo. Not true ! We were flagged down by security and reprimanded! * Floor was pretty dirty, kids walked around W/ white socks first few minutes there and they were brown. Hair still In showers. Location was great on the beach. But if I owned this place I would fire my property manager and cleaning crew and get new people! A dirty house makes for a crappy vacation. I ended up buying rubber gloves and Clorox and cleaned so we could enjoy our week. Way too much money for that
