CAMP À SUCRE - CABANE DE STYLE À LA GRANGE!

En construction! Dans Grassy Meadows, WV..1200 sq. Cabine., Niché dans une petite clairière au sommet de la colline. Comprend 2 chambres, 2 salles de bains complètes, cuisine, salle à manger et salon. Plancher de bois franc partout! Grand porche, petit patio pour les grillades et cercle de feu invitant. Construit avec beaucoup de soin et une attention particulière aux détails et aux tendances. Chaque pièce contient un peu "d'histoire familiale"! Vieilles portes, évier de grand-mère, planches de pin, planches de noyer, planches de peuplier, dalles en érable, poutres, traverses, cintres; tous rassemblés autour de la ferme. Bonne route de gravier à travers le bois, 4x4 ou 4x4 recommandé en hiver. 10 minutes jusqu'à I64. 40 minutes à Beckley ou Lewisburg, 2 heures de Roanoke, VA ou Charleston, WV. Quelques minutes de plus à l'est de Lewisburg (où se tient la foire de l'État de WV), vous pouvez être à White Sulphur Springs pour assister au spectacle annuel du Greenbrier Classic. Excellent endroit pour faire de l'équitation, du vélo ou apporter votre VTT. Bienvenue à faire une randonnée autour de la ferme et voir tous les animaux de la ferme et la faune.

I honestly cant even say enough about this place. Everything that we experienced was incredible during the stay ! The horses were so fun to interact with and very friendly. The cabin is a great location and the view is breathtaking at any point in the day. Very secluded and exactly what we needed for our group.

This place is even better than the pictures. It's a bit isolated from the "sights", but it will be a place you will remember. In spite of the isolation, The New River Gorge and Beckley are a short drive away. Don't be deterred by access--our Lincoln Town Car made it up the short gravel road to the cabin just fine. If you aren't concerned about nightlife in Beckley and driving back to the cabin on secondary roads in the dark but just want to kick back on the porch with coffee in hand and take in the stunning beauty of West Virginia, this is the place to rent. As a bonus, the inside of this cabin is full of architectural surprises that you won't see in glossy magazines. Honest, homey, and perfect.

The house smelled and looked clean as soon as we opened the door. The beds were already made (a relief after a long drive). There were eggs and fresh summer veggies in the fridge. The cabin was cozy and inviting. It was a wonderful visit for our family of 4. Ed and Tina were available for any questions we had. Highly recommend as a place for a quiet getaway.

Incredible home away from home. The cabin is well maintained and has a rustic feel. The wrap around porch is perfect for quiet coffee moments. We easily slept 5 people. The homeowners have provided many accommodations in their home for families. I recommend coming here and enjoying a little piece of WV heaven.

We absolutely loved this cabin! It was so clean, extremely comfortable king bed, and everything we needed was all within reach. Also very quiet and beautiful surroundings! It is the perfect home base if you are doing nearby activities. We would highly recommend to families with children, singles or couples- anyone who is looking for a quiet retreat!

Everything was incredible, and we cannot wait to visit again! If you are looking for a beautiful setting away from the hustle and bustle, this is your place. It is 30 minutes within many great parks and views. Be sure to visit Lewisburg while you’re there for some fantastic restaurants.

This place was so beautiful! The hosts were amazing had things all set up nice, even had kindling set up for us to make a nice fire and plenty of wood. The house was clean and the view was beautiful. Would definitely rent again!! Thank you so much!!

Upon arrival the cabin was clean and set up with many extras. Within an hour of entering, we were greeted by the host, Ed. The cabin was cozy with a beautiful view. We were alerted prior to arrival that grocery stores would be a drive so we were prepared. We enjoyed being out in the country and the beautiful view. Very peaceful.

Great Cabin

This is a great place to stay. Brought along my 1 and 3 year old , they loved exploring the property and playing on the wrap around porch. We also purchased one of the hand made quilts.

There for a family reunion and wedding! The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Sat on the porch every morning with my coffee! Quite, peaceful and beautiful!

My husband Ed and I live on a working farm at the foot of Keeney Mt in Grassy Meadows, WV. Road name changes and 911 address changes have us with an Alderson mailing address, making it really fun for the UPS and FedEx drivers. I even had trouble listing our cabin on Keeney Mt Rd; the map would not recognize the location. When my husband told me our road was forever called Ford Hollow Road, I plugged the name in and it came right up!
Ed is the full-time farmer. I work as a USDA Consumer Safety Inspector with a local patrol assignment. Every spare minute I have though is used to be outside helping with the animals and farm chores. Ed along with a cousin or two, would spend summers here as kids helping his grandpa in the hay. In 1979, at 20 yrs old he moved here to be with his grandpa. I am from this area, raised on a dairy farm, and graduated from the local high school. I received my B.S. in Ag. Business from WVU in 1987. I have three grown boys of my own, all out working and making me proud! Eddie has a daughter just out of college and headed out on her own. We both love this way of life; although sometimes heartbreaking and back breaking, we wouldn't change a thing.

We offer a quiet and simple get away in the country with the best of access right off the interstate. When things slowdown in the late fall and winter months we can offer one-night stays for people traveling through the area, if the request will go through the site, try that first, if not contact us directly!!
